First Legendary Dragon: Starting With The Limitless System-Chapter 73: New Quest
Chapter 73: New Quest
Orion nodded his head and carefully placed it back inside the Inventory. "Haa...that was something else, so that’s what such high-level treasures feel like." He heaved a sigh and dropped back on the bed.
He looked at the inventory for some time while lying down, "Damaged World Tree Seed...how am I supposed to grow a fucking world tree with a damaged seed in this world?" he shook his head.
Staring at the screen, he decided to look at the Strange Stone. "Hmm..." he pulled it out of the inventory, and no natural phenomenon followed after it.
There was no intense pressure, no majestic feeling, no visible aura, just a plain stone with crude markings on it.
Yet his eyes suddenly widened as he felt the Stone resonate with something inside of him, yet it was so subtle that he couldn’t pinpoint it.
"Lumi, did you feel that?" he quickly asked.
[Felt what, Master?]
She curiously asked back.
"You didn’t feel the stone resonate with me just now?" he quickly asked as his heartbeat sped up.
[No...nothing like that, Master.]
Lumi replied in confusion.
Orion stopped talking with her and seriously looked at the stone in his hand. He tried to connect or resonate with it once again, however, the feeling was already gone.
He didn’t give up and continued trying for a while more before eventually heaving a sigh, "Haa..." he placed it back in his inventory.
’I will need to know what it resonated with. It’s something that even Echo wasn’t able to understand, it has the potential to become my strongest strength...or my straight downfall.’ he inwardly thought.
He knew full well the risks such unknown treasures held, yet due to its sheer potential, he couldn’t just discard it.
Shaking his head, he looked at the inventory again and took out some Moonberry to eat. While chewing on it he said, "Lumi, don’t elves love these Moonberries? Would Seraph like it if I gave it to her?"
[She will definitely like it, Master, if she accepts it. (^▽^)]
Orion nodded his head and threw another berry inside his mouth while browsing the rest of his inventory. "Well, I should go to the academy tomorrow, let’s see what interesting things I can learn."
[Hehe, let me motivate you, Master!]

"..." Orion speechlessly stared at the screen.
[I know, I know~ it’s technically not mandatory. But come on! I really want to see their jaws hit the floor when you casually rewrite the standard. (๑>◡<๑)]
"Haa...whatever will I do with you." He smilingly shook his head and closed all system screens.
"About time I head to sleep, will be a busy day tomorrow." He stood up and stretched his body for a few minutes before heading to bed.
[Good night, Master! ヾ(@^▽^@)ノ]
"Good night, Lumi." He softly said and closed his eyes.

The gentle warmth of morning sunlight filtered through Orion’s window, softly caressing his face and pulling him from his peaceful slumber.
He slowly opened his eyes, blinking away the remnants of sleep before sitting up and stretching with a contented sigh.
[Good morning, Master! Hope you had a good sleep.]
The first thing he heard after waking up was Lumi’s cheerful voice. He smiled slightly and nodded, "Good morning. I had nice sleep after those draws."
Knock Knock
"Good morning, Master," Rina’s cheerful voice resonated gently from outside his door. "May we come in?"
"Come in," Orion called back softly, shaking off the last bits of sleepiness.
The door opened quietly, and Rina entered with Fiora close behind her, both smiling warmly at him. "Your bath is ready, Master," Fiora said gently.
"Thanks, both of you." Orion stood up, following them toward the bathing chamber. As they prepared him for his bath, he casually inquired, "How is Seraph this morning? Did she wake up?"
Rina paused for a moment before answering softly, "Yes, Master. She woke up quite early. We tried offering her some food, but she didn’t touch it at all. Eventually, we just left some fruits beside her bed, hoping she’d at least try something."
Orion frowned slightly, concerned. "I see. It might take her some time to adjust. I’ll go visit her after the bath."
Rina and Fiora nodded before gently bathing him.

Once refreshed and dressed, Orion made his way toward Seraph’s room. Pausing briefly, he knocked gently on her door and said, "Seraph, it’s me."
"...Alright, I’m coming in." After not getting a reply, he softly opened the door and entered inside.
She was sitting quietly by the window, staring blankly outside at the gardens. The plate of fruit remained untouched beside her.
Despite him approaching, she didn’t move a single bit from her seat, continuing to stare at the outside scene.
He swiftly moved and sat down beside her at a comfortable distance. She slowly turned her head and looked at him without any expression.
Orion gently smiled and began, "How are you feeling this morning?" he asked quietly with a warm tone.
Seraph didn’t reply, only continuing to watch him with an unreadable expression.
"I understand things are difficult right now," Orion continued gently. "But please know that you’re safe here. You can trust us. You can take as much time as you need to settle down."
She slightly lowered her gaze, her eyes showing subtle conflicting emotions. Orion took this small reaction as progress and softly encouraged her, "If you feel up to it later, perhaps we can explore the garden together? Fresh air might do you good."
Yet he did not receive any response, however, this didn’t discourage him as he had expected it. Not wanting to overstay his visit, he slowly stood up, "Well, at least eat something. Otherwise, for whatever reason you held on for so long would be wasted."
He slowly said and turned around, exiting her room. Seraph stared, looking in the direction of his fading back before looking at the fruits. Yet she didn’t reach for them, instead turned back to look at the outside world.

After leaving Seraph’s room, Orion joined his grandparents in the dining hall for breakfast. Eldric greeted him with a knowing smile. "All set for the academy, lad?"
Orion nodded confidently. "Definitely. I’ve been waiting for this."
"Good," Eldric chuckled, sipping his tea thoughtfully. "I’d suggest taking Edgar and Lucan along with you today. Selene and I showing up at the academy personally would only cause unnecessary chaos."
Selene smiled warmly. "Indeed. You wouldn’t want every noble child crowding around you on your first day. Let them discover your talents slowly."
Orion laughed softly. "I suppose you’re right. Uncle Edgar and Uncle Lucan will be enough. I’m sure they can handle most things smoothly."
Breakfast continued in a relaxed atmosphere, filled with idle chatter and the occasional playful teasing from Eldric. Once finished, Orion excused himself, preparing to leave for the academy.
Edgar and Lucan were already waiting outside, the carriage ready. Lucan greeted him cheerfully, "Ready for your big day, Young Master?"
"More than ready," Orion responded confidently, climbing into the carriage. "Let’s see what this academy has to offer."
Edgar chuckled, "You definitely won’t be disappointed, Young Master. Just wait and see."
"Indeed, Young Master, the academy got top-notch beauties from all around the kingdom. You definitely won’t be disappointed." Lucan winked from behind the window.
