Chapter 890: Chapter 890: Don’t Ruin Everything for Her Anymore
“This is a great idea, a bar, a bar, I don’t know when we’ll be able to go.” Jasmine Yale couldn’t help but hold her head, feeling emotional.
She had met Ann Nolan for a small gathering today and, unexpectedly, they found their thoughts strikingly aligned.

It felt good, like when you suddenly feel the urge to go wild, and there’s someone to go crazy with you.
“After I got married, I’ve never been. First, because I was too busy with work, and second, because of the strict discipline of the Santos family.”
“Strict discipline of the Santos family? I think they’re just strict with their daughters-in-law. I never saw them be so strict with their own descendants.” Jasmine “tsked”, knowing that the Santos family’s offspring kept mistresses without any repercussions.
But she knew this was a sore spot for Ann, so she rarely brought up Harper’s name.
However, Ann appeared unconcerned, laughing, “Now that I’ve resigned, I feel so much lighter. I’ll definitely go to the bar while I have the chance. Jasmine, do you think if I ever get a divorce, I might set off fireworks to celebrate?”
If she really got divorced, she would be completely free.
Without any restraints.
No longer would there be someone to argue with her incessantly.
So… where did she find the courage to step into the cage of marriage?
“If you really get divorced, I’ll go to the bar with you again. But Ann, no driving after drinking today,” Jasmine Yale knew Ann had been wounded all over in this marriage.
As much as she had loved, now she was just as indifferent.
“Mm, no driving. Should we book a suite in a hotel tonight? Or we could go for midnight snacks,” Ann suggested.
She hadn’t indulged like this in a long time and was rather looking forward to it.
Her eyes sparkled with a bright sheen, utterly different from before she left home.
The face that usually remained unaffected now wore excitement and smiles.
Jasmine felt the same way as her excitement wasn’t any less than Ann’s.
“Sure, we’ll see when the time comes.” Jasmine casually ordered a few bottles of beer, “No returning until we’re drunk today, let’s start eating!”
Jasmine Yale had been longing for the intensely spicy hotpot, and she became joyful just looking at the floating chili peppers.
Ann wasn’t polite either; the two started to eat and chat.
“This fatty beef is delicious.”
“These ribs are good, too.”
“I love the seaweed.”
“The dried tofu is really flavorful.”
Both agreed the restaurant had great flavors and enjoyed their meal immensely.
But because it was so spicy, within ten minutes, droplets of sweat appeared at the tip of their noses.
“So spicy, so spicy,” Jasmine Yale took a sip of cold water, “But it tastes really good.”
“Yes, yes, it really is good. There’s a mall downstairs; we can shop around after eating.”
“Smelling like hotpot, we’ll be walking hotpots.” Jasmine laughed.
Ann laughed as well.
Today she wore a new dress Zaiden Santos had bought for her to come out and eat hotpot. If he knew, he’d probably be furious.
She knew the price of that dress, and it was expensive.
Jasmine Yale rested her head on her hand, she hadn’t felt this satisfied in a long time.
Probably, the last time she indulged like this was when she first entered college.
Back then, she wasn’t even twenty years old and had just broken free from the high school’s cage.
Student council, class, dorm gatherings every now and then; she had her fill of all kinds of delicious food—hotpot, barbecue, cuisine… she never held back.
Then, after some unpleasant incidents later on, she lost her ability to make herself happy.
Her carefree self, Jasmine Yale, had almost disappeared.
Thankfully, she had found herself again, and it wasn’t too late.
She just hoped that person wouldn’t destroy everything for her again.
Jasmine Yale’s eyes, brimming with water, sparkled like stars, like the bright moon, radiantly luminous.
