Fake Marriage To The Richest Tycoon-Chapter 37: The ladle’s influence
Chapter 37: Chapter 37: The ladle’s influence
He clutched the magazine in one hand and held a mirror in the other.
"God! That unruly woman really hit me hard! I mean, look at my eye. I look no different than a panda right now! A one-black-eyed panda," he fussed and cried.
Shentu Jing and Han Juexian covered their ears with their hands. Shentu Mingye was being too dramatic. Shentu Jing quickly fled the room. He couldn’t stand being in the same space with his youngest brother.
Soon, Ding Yu arrived with news.
While Shentu Mingye was wallowing in anger over that unruly woman, Shentu Jing was burning with rage. He might as well set the whole world on fire and burn everything to ashes. The entire mansion felt like it was situated on the edge of a cold cliff—lifeless and filled with negative energy.
He already had a plan in mind. Revenge was unavoidable, and he would make sure whoever had done it regretted touching his Little Pearl.
Jiang Zhaoling woke up to all the ruckus. Why was her cousin brother screaming in the morning? And why did the entire mansion feel like it had been pushed into an abyss—cold and lifeless!
"We’ll discuss this in the office," Shentu Jing said as soon as Ding Yu entered. The mansion was too noisy.
Just as Shentu Jing was about to leave the house, Song Ping stopped him.
It was at this moment that Shentu Jing remembered he had moved Qin Zhuzhu’s mother to live with them.
But he had been so busy that he hadn’t had the time to let them meet or explain the situation properly to her. Song Ping was a brave woman, so she wasn’t scared to live in the mansion with a bunch of strangers claiming to be her in-laws! She wanted to wait for Qin Zhuzhu to clarify everything.
"Where’s my daughter? Are you people holding my daughter hostage?" Song Ping demanded.
"Mrs. Qin, I’m busy. I’ll have the servants answer your questions," Shentu Jing said. He wanted to evade her as he had pressing matters to attend to.
"Mr. Jing, you brought me here and said I would be living a comfortable life with my daughter. Now, where is my daughter? I haven’t seen her since you brought me here, and this place is strictly guarded. Are you trying to lock me in a cage?!" Song Ping pointed her finger at Shentu Jing angrily.
Shentu Jing was a little dumbfounded. Then he realized that Han Juexian must have said those words to her.
Ah Xian, why did you have to sound like a scammer?
A man walked into the room and saw Shentu Jing having a hard time with Song Ping. Immediately, the man recognized Song Ping. She was the one who had pointed a ladle at him on the first day!
"Ah Jing, I’ll take over from here. You can go do your stuff," the man said.
Shentu Jing quickly left with Ding Yu and Han Juexian.
Now Song Ping turned to question this man. He was the one who had persuaded her to put down the ladle that day and have a nice talk. What was with these people?! Not to mention, this man didn’t even treat her like a gentleman. When she had fallen on her butt that day, he hadn’t bothered to help her up.
"Mrs. Qin, I understand that you are anxious to see your daughter. Zhuzhu is currently the fiancée of my nephew, you see..." Jiang Wubai was saying when Song Ping exclaimed!
"What?! Fiancée?!! Who did she get engaged to? Are you lying? She never told me anything!" Song Ping stood her ground against Jiang Wubai, who was many times taller and bigger than her.
"It’s true. That’s what my sworn brother told me," Jiang Wubai assured her.
Jiang Wubai’s sworn brother was Shentu Dong. The two came from different families, but they treated each other like real brothers.
Jiang Wubai was Jiang Zhaoling’s uncle. The Jiang and Shentu families had a good relationship.
"Your sworn brother? I’ll tell you, I’m going to leave this place unless I see my daughter," Song Ping said. She was like a mother hen, extremely protective of her daughter.
Song Ping found out that the entire family—well, except for some—were very afraid of ladles! Though she didn’t know why, she took advantage of it and carried a ladle around with her. Whenever she needed something, all she had to do was take out the ladle and brandish it, and the servants and guards would meet her demands.
Song Ping took out a ladle and pointed it at Jiang Wubai’s face.
Jiang Wubai panicked upon seeing that ladle. Why did this woman have to frighten him with that?!
Shentu Dong, just how many people did you influence??
"Fine! Okay, okay. Let’s have a nice talk and put the ladle down," Jiang Wubai said, smiling charmingly at her. He was stronger and faster than her, so naturally, he would have the upper hand.
But she was faster than him! He still remembered from their first meeting that she had used the ladle to spank him!
Small as she may seem, she was undoubtedly strong.
"Alright. Take me out of here, now," Song Ping said, sounding like a female boss giving orders.
"Uh, why? Don’t you like staying here?" Jiang Wubai asked. Almost every woman, whether young or old, would be more than happy to live in the Shentu mansion. One would even die just to get a glimpse of one of the richest families in the world.
"I’m hungry, and I want to eat some dim sums near Gugu Food Market," Song Ping said, sounding like a spoiled young girl.
"Okay," Jiang Wubai agreed to all her requests as long as she didn’t spank him with that ladle.
In the car, Jiang Wubai adjusted a small mirror by his side so that he could look at Song Ping’s face. Song Ping looked a little like Qin Zhuzhu—pretty, fair, and with smooth skin. She looked much younger than her actual age. However, there were some wrinkles at the corners of her eyes. She was getting old.
Jiang Wubai thought that she was aging beautifully. Not bad, he thought. She must have been a real beauty in her youth.
Song Ping was forty-five years old. She had become a mother at a young age. She never went outdoors much, so her skin was preserved well. In addition, she used to use expensive skincare products.
Jiang Wubai was the same age as her, yet he had never married. Not even once!
He had heard what happened to the Qin family. It seemed like Song Ping’s husband had abandoned her for another woman. Qin Zhuzhu’s husband had also abandoned her for another woman. Were the women of the Qin family born with bad luck?
"Mrs. Qin..."
"Address me as Song Ping," she cut him off. She felt much more relaxed after coming out of that mansion.
"Alright, Song Ping," Jiang Wubai said, sounding her name off his lips. Strange, but somehow her name sounded pretty nice to hear.

In the Shentu Group’s building.
Shentu Jing’s smartphone buzzed with an incoming call. Luo Yue’s voice came through.
"Sir, a man wants to see you. He claims that you are responsible for the death of his parents."
