Chapter 35: Chapter 35: I see a little kitten scared and alone

"You have no idea how expensive this is," he said, pointing to the cut on his forehead.

"It’s just some stupid cut. You can’t be so petty, can you?" Sanya flipped her hair back, annoyed that it had gotten into her face. The way she flipped her hair felt familiar...

The man moved backward some more. With such a woman near him, he’d have to be careful not to get punched by her. Otherwise, how would he explain to his brothers and father if he came home with bruises?

"What are you, a woman? How can a man care so much about his appearance? Oh wait! I get it. You used your dumbass face to charm girls. No wonder you care about it so much. Oh heavens, you must have spent hours fixing your idiotic face in front of the mirror every morning," Sanya said in a taunting tone. She was getting more and more irritated by the second.

"You have no idea who I am. How dare you, an unruly woman, speak to me in such a way?" he boomed, obviously angry at Sanya for calling him a petty woman.

"Really? Who are you? Are you the president? No. Are you the CEO of this place? No. Are you the organizer of this place? Well, I guess not," she shrugged her shoulders. "If you are, by chance, one of those rich sons who pulls strings to get connections, then maybe you would have the power to kick me out of here."

This time, the man smirked, and Sanya saw that he looked rather calm. He must have something up his sleeve. Well, maybe she had guessed it right—he was the son of some rich bastard.

"Well then, little Missy. Since you simply refuse to pay for your bad actions, I will have to teach you a lesson. I will have you removed from here at once, and I’ll have your smartass locked up in jail," he said, wearing a nasty smirk that Sanya wished she could slap off his face.

Sure, he was good-looking, as expected of someone as narcissistic as him, but he was too much of a sucker idiot. Such men were a big no-no for her.

"In jail?" Sanya retaliated. "I’ll scream assault loudly, and I’m not afraid to do so," she said, putting her hands on her hips, now looking like a gangster lady.

The man just chuckled. He clapped his hands, and immediately, two security guards appeared by his side. Woah, he sure was some big shot to be able to call the guards so easily. She was curious as to who he was, but that didn’t matter. Because she was going to get out of this fucking place, and they would never cross paths again.

"Arrest that unruly woman! She created confusion and chaos here," he said, pointing at Sanya with a wicked smile and at the drone, which still lay on the ground, broken into three large pieces. That was the evidence of the ’chaos and confusion’ she had created.

The security guards nodded and took out handcuffs. Oh dear, it was really happening. The man really wanted her in jail so badly.

The guards would have really thrown her into jail had it not been for a kick to their manhood and stomach. Ouch! They didn’t see that coming. They expected her to be weak like other girls, but they were wrong.

Sanya wasted no time fighting back. She quickly tore her dress, creating a slit up to her thigh so that she could lift her leg high enough to deliver a powerful kick.

The man was taken aback! This woman was really a gangster! Not to mention how crazy sexy and goddamn beautiful she looked. No, scratch that! How could he think of her in such a way?

She could even kick and beat up two muscular men. She immediately kicked the fourth security guard who tried to assist his fallen comrades. She punched and delivered an uppercut to a third security guard who tried to tackle her. They should have known better—she had a black belt in karate.

The man flinched when he saw them groaning in pain, laid out on the floor in front of him. He quickly moved backward for protection and to get away from such a dangerous woman. When Sanya was done venting her anger, she dusted herself off as if she had just walked through a desert.

"Phew!" She blew off steam. "That was easy," she said while making eye contact with the man. She wanted him to know who had the upper hand here.

"How dare you beat up the security guards! Do you know that you are breaking the law?" he once again pointed a finger accusingly at her.

"Well, I dare. I even dare to beat you up, believe it or not!" she snapped at him. "Do you want to try?" she asked with a smirk.

"Uh, no. No, no, no," he quickly said, moving backward further from her. Sanya would have enjoyed herself fully by frightening him—he looked like a cute kitten afraid of a big tomcat, which was her.

"Oh, I see a little kitten scared and alone. Do you need some help remembering something? Say, like the compensation fee you mentioned earlier?" she said coyly, backing the unknown, strange man into the wall.

The man’s expression quickly changed. "No, I don’t seem to remember anything about a compensation fee," he chuckled nervously, waving his hand to dismiss what he had said earlier. He was like a chameleon, changing colors so fast when encountering trouble.

That was good; he was smart. Sanya found him amusing. Maybe she should tease him some more and scare the hell out of him. That would make up for all the trouble she had gone through today.

"But I kinda remember that somebody here said I must pay five thousand," she kabedoned him and glared up into his eyes. He was just a little taller than her.

The man looked into her fierce eyes. He felt his cheeks burning hot. "Now you don’t have to," he said.

*I’ll make you pay for this!* he thought mentally.

Unfortunately, all good things have to end because, at the corner of her eye, she noticed more security guards coming her way. And oh my, were they armed with batons and guns? Heck, she’d have to get out of here.

So, in haste but not without thinking properly, she lurched forward and punched the man in the face. "Ouch, a little souvenir to remember me by. Bye-bye," she said mockingly before turning on her heels and quickly fleeing the scene. She looked around for Zhuzhu but couldn’t spot her.

Where in the world was Zhuzhu? She knew Zhuzhu was somewhere around, so she didn’t leave the exhibition. She pretended to run to the exit, making sure those damn guards saw and followed her. Then, after a while, she returned, crouching low and acting sneakily to avoid being seen. She couldn’t leave without Zhuzhu. Since they had come here together, they would have to leave together.

Suddenly, the fire alarm went off.
