Fairy Tail Destiny-Chapter 125: Ch : Noel vs. Dylan
Chapter 125 - Ch 125 : Noel vs. Dylan
Boom!
With another collision, Dylan was sent skidding backward more than ten meters from the recoil.
"Damn it, did Garlos trick me? He told me that Lord Nord's current strength was only at the level of the Ten Saints and should be weaker than me. But this... this is clearly beyond that, almost reaching the strength of the Third or even Fourth Throne!" Dylan shook his slightly numb arm and muttered under his breath.
"You're strong, but you're not my match."
Noel, who had also taken a few steps back from the impact, looked at Dylan and spoke calmly.
It wasn't arrogance, but sheer confidence.
If this had been Noel before his soul had fully fused, facing Dylan might have been difficult, even carrying the risk of defeat.
Back then, part of his soul's power was always diverted to suppress the other him within.
However, now that the fusion was complete, there was no need for that anymore.
Though Noel still refrained from using his divine power due to his body's unhealed state—it would harm him if overused—his current strength had surpassed his previous self by several levels.
If he were to fight Jellal or Laxus again now, he could absolutely secure an easy victory.
Dylan clicked his tongue in dissatisfaction. "Tch~ You won't know the result until you fight for real. I'm going all out—Lord Nord or not, I won't hold back!"
A deep blue power surged within Dylan, and as this power continued to rise, changes began to manifest on his body.
Under Noel's astonished gaze, scale-like patterns slowly appeared on Dylan's cheeks, arms, and other areas.
The deep blue energy boiled around him, condensing into the form of a mighty dragon.
Noel's left pupil contracted slightly. "This is... Dragon Force?"
In ancient times, after the gods had fallen, the dragons became the rulers of the continent.
Back then, the only ones capable of standing against dragons were the Dragon Slayers who wielded Dragon Slayer Magic.
However, not all Dragon Slayers were powerful enough to fight dragons.
A prime example was Natsu—while his current strength was formidable, if he were to face a real dragon, he would likely be torn apart without even leaving his bones behind.
For a Dragon Slayer to truly be strong enough to rival a dragon, the most fundamental requirement was for their magic power to evolve into Dragon Force.
Dragon Force was a form of magic, but its nature closely resembled that of an actual dragon's power.
One could say that only those who had awakened Dragon Force could be considered true Dragon Slayers, possessing strength on par with real dragons.
While having Dragon Force didn't guarantee victory against a dragon, a Dragon Slayer without it stood no chance at all.
And now, standing before Noel, Dylan had already reached this level.
"Lord Nord, here I come— Ice Dragon's Roar! "
A raging torrent of freezing energy erupted from Dylan's mouth, surging like a flood.
The sheer power of the icy breath seemed capable of freezing even the void itself—its might was several times stronger than Natsu's roar.
"Holy Sword of Light!"
Noel's expression grew solemn as a beam of radiant light, even more dazzling than before, took the form of a sword and shot forth from his hand, colliding head-on with Dylan's roar.
BOOM!
A deafening explosion erupted as the Holy Sword of Light and the Ice Dragon's Roar clashed, generating a violent shockwave that shattered everything around them into dust.
The sheer force of their battle proved too much for the structure they fought within—the entire building began to collapse, with chunks of debris falling from the ceiling.
Suddenly, the swirling dust was torn apart, revealing Dylan's figure suspended in midair.
"Ice Dragon's Horn Strike!"
Frost surged around Dylan's leg like a raging storm.
With a force that split the air itself, he dove downward like a blue meteor, aiming a devastating kick at Noel.
BANG!
Dylan's attack struck the ground with immense force, creating a massive crater dozens of meters wide.
The surface cracked like a spider's web under the impact—but Noel was nowhere to be seen.
(Damn!)
Dylan's heart sank at Noel's sudden disappearance.
Instinctively, he tried to retreat, but before he could, a voice echoed from behind him.
"Funeral of Light!"
A chilling sense of danger surged through Dylan's body, making his hair stand on end.
Gritting his teeth, he ignored the momentum of his forward charge and forcibly twisted his body to face Noel.
A sharp pain shot through his waist, and he could even hear a faint crack—a sign that he had strained or slightly injured it.
But there was no time to care.
Even a child with no knowledge of magic would understand—turning your back to a stronger opponent was a death sentence.
BOOM!
A deafening crash echoed through the air as Dylan barely managed to cross his arms in front of him before being blasted away by the blinding white magic of light.
His body smashed through the walls of the building and was sent hurtling onto the street outside.
With the walls collapsing, the already damaged structure let out a groan of protest before finally crumbling into a heap of rubble, sending a thick cloud of dust into the air.
Despite the pain from his wounds, Dylan had no time to worry about them.
One thought dominated his mind—counterattack!
Deep blue frost coiled around his fists as he launched himself toward Noel, who was emerging from the cloud of dust.
"Ice Dragon's Shattering Fist!!"

Noel frowned slightly at the oncoming attack, raising his hand as a blade of pure light materialized in his grasp.
He stepped forward, ready to meet Dylan head-on.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Dylan and Noel clashed relentlessly, white light blades and blue dragon fists colliding in rapid succession.
Each impact sent shockwaves rippling through the air, creating powerful gusts that overturned everything around them.
From a distance, all that could be seen were two streaks of light—one blue, one white—constantly colliding and battling for dominance.
The streets they fought through lay in utter devastation, resembling the aftermath of an earthquake of catastrophic magnitude.
Buildings crumbled, debris littered the ground, and the entire area bore the scars of their ferocious battle.
In such an intense close-quarters fight, even the slightest mistake could lead to defeat.
After exchanging countless blows, Noel finally spotted an opening.
With a swift upward flick of his Blade of Light, he deflected Dylan's fist.
In the same instant, his other hand struck forward—a sharp elbow strike straight into Dylan's chest!
Before Dylan could recover, Noel followed up with a vicious sidekick, sending Dylan flying through the air and crashing into a nearby building.
"Damn it!! Dragon Slayer Secret Art!..."
Before the dust had even settled, Dylan's frustrated voice echoed from within the ruined structure.
Noel's eyes sharpened, his expression turning cold and focused.
Countless white lights began rapidly gathering around him.
He knew all too well—the next attack would be one of Dylan's ultimate techniques.
The battle had reached its climax.
Perhaps the next strike... would decide everything.
"...Frostsnow Dragon Slayer Blade!!"
The terrifying Dragon Power roared to life.
A massive blue storm, powerful enough to rival a Category 16 tornado, erupted from the building where Dylan had fallen.
The shockwave alone reduced everything within a hundred meters to rubble.
Even before the storm reached Noel, he could already feel the razor-sharp chill slicing through the air, an overwhelming force capable of tearing space itself apart.
The surrounding atmosphere screeched in agony, creating a deafening cacophony of sonic booms.
Noel took a deep breath, his entire body radiating an intense golden light.
"Holy Light's Judgment—Brionac Spear!!"
A brilliant spear materialized in Noel's grasp, its silver tip gleaming with dangerously compressed magical energy.
A suffocating pressure filled the battlefield.
Without a sound, several magic circles appeared in the spear's trajectory, arranged in an expanding sequence.
With a swift motion, Noel hurled the Brionac Spear forward.
As it pierced through the magic circles, the spear's aura grew exponentially stronger, its energy becoming more focused and devastating.
By the time it emerged from the final magic circle, the silver spear finally clashed head-on with the raging blue storm.
BOOM!!!!
A deafening explosion tore through the ancient city, powerful enough to rupture eardrums.
Nirvana itself trembled under the sheer force of the collision, its six massive legs groaning in distress as its forward momentum visibly slowed.
Half the night sky was swallowed by the dueling colors of blue and white.
The battle between Dragon Power and Holy Light Magic raged on, neither side yielding for several agonizing seconds.
However, as the energy struggle continued, the blue dragon force began to weaken, gradually being overwhelmed.
Bit by bit, it was consumed, diminished, and ultimately crushed by the radiance of Holy Light.
With one final howling gust, Nirvana fell into silence once more.
Dylan's entire body was sent hurtling hundreds of meters away by the devastating explosion.
The sheer force of the collision had obliterated the surrounding streets, leaving nothing but destruction in its wake.
His body lay buried beneath the rubble, seemingly unconscious.
Noel landed gracefully on the ground, his clothing now bearing several new tears, though he remained mostly unscathed.
Taking a moment to steady the surging magic within him, he began walking toward Dylan's fallen form.
Crack.
A faint sound reached Noel's ears, causing his footsteps to halt.
His gaze sharpened, locking onto the ruins where Dylan had fallen.
There, amidst the wreckage—a figure was slowly rising.
"Hahahahahaha! Damn, it's been so long since I felt this fired up! This isn't over yet!!!"
Dylan, covered in wounds, stood tall, his laughter echoing wildly through the ruined battlefield, almost manic in its intensity.
After a long moment, the laughter faded.
Dylan clutched his injuries, his gaze meeting Noel's.
"As expected of you, Lord Nord... At first, I wasn't planning on using my final technique in this fight."
He exhaled sharply, his expression darkening.
"This move puts an enormous strain on my body. If it were just a friendly spar, there'd be no need to go this far..."
His lips curled into a determined grin.
"But now, I've changed my mind. I'm going all in."
"ROAR!!!"
A violent surge of deep blue Dragon Power erupted from Dylan's body, rising in a furious storm around him.
The energy boiled and condensed, spiraling into a near tangible form.
Dylan threw his head back, unleashing a deafening roar.
His eyes burned with a wild, golden glow, no longer human—but the piercing gaze of a beast.
