The raging, hungry battle aura boosted the powers of Heinz to a terribly unfair degree as his grin widened, and the battle aura spread around and covered all 99 other Seekers surrounding him. They all felt their power rise to a very high degree, and it was not just a simple rise in power, but a great boost all around. Their blood pumped in excitement, and the craving for battle seeped into every single one of their bones.

Axel also felt that same boost in power and it felt utterly and absolutely exhilarating, specially his demon bloodline that craved nothing but chaos and destruction, it bubbled in excitement, he felt his power boosted even more because of that, it seems his demon blood truly craved for a good show, a good fight. He smiled cynically, hiding his face behind the shield.

Ken, Luther, and many other princess’s as well as everyone else in the first division led by Heinz, were pleasantly shocked by the amount of increase in power.

Even the three groups of audience stopped their internal debates and discussions about how the round would go, the tension in the atmosphere right before the clash of the armies made them pause in all minor activities and wait in bated breath for the clash to finally occur.

The opposition army reached this side of the bridge, and all of their steps became faster, but their collective formation did not break. A perfect formation was necessary to defend against the rain of arrows that would be showered on them from the moment they attacked.

Not only that, the 3rd Division of the Section-C, right behind their first division, fired countless long-range attacks aiming at Heinz’s division members. But the 1st division of the gold section was ready for all these, as they defended against all of it masterfully. But some still got injured badly, but they held on and fought, as if they were defending humanity itself.

As for the 2 enormous siege arrows cutting through the air, they ignored it, it was someone else’s job, as the brutal and chaotic battle continued, Heinz took on the enemy division leader as his excitement reached its peak, Heinz was using a large sword, by now he had gotten pretty good at using swords, even though spear was his specialty.

As his battle aura raged violently, his clash with the enemy division leader continued, and his division members also picked out selected individuals to fight. The more the battle raged on, the greater he felt his boost in power. Among all those that possessed the warlord aspect, he was unmatched among them all without a doubt. But the enemy division leader was no easy opponent either, as multiple individual battles raged on.

But the defenders still held their defense lines tightly, not letting any enemy pass that line, no matter what.

On the other hand, the moment the first clash between the two first divisions occurred, Sophia ordered calmly,

[Fire the ballistic arrows at the enemy third division.]

[Lucien, be ready to cast the spell just as the ballistic arrows are fired.]

[Intercept and destroy the siege arrows in mid-air.]

There were more than 30 ballistic crossbows on top of the fortress, and multiple arrows could be fired at once from each. On the ground, many long-range spells were raining down on the defending side’s first division. The enemy 3rd division was also ready for the attack, as the mages cast spells and put up barriers that should stop most of the arrows or slow them enough that they are not a threat anymore. But just as the hundreds and hundreds of arrows were fired at the enemy third division’s long-range attackers.

As more than 100 of the large arrows caught on fire in mid-air, pain surged into the entirety of the 3rd division of the enemy army, as many Seekers in it got hit by the fire, more than half of that division, who were attacking the 1st division of Heinz, instantly stopped, and all of them put up their most powerful barrier-type spells that they could muster.

But the power of Lucien’s flame originated from dragon magic. How could it be so simple to defend against, with mere human barrier spells, the glass-like large barrier that the attackers’ third division put up, was struck by the hundreds of fire arrows and shattered like glass hit by a heavy hammer.

Their division leader shouted with all her might,

"Attack the arrows with everything you have."
