Extra: Yandere Milfs Obsessed with me!-Chapter 72: Sundering Eclipse
"A bunch of bullshit," Sulyvhan murmured.
"Then tell me more. And what are you doing here?"
"I was the first human to master aura.At that time, beastmen instinctively used their physical energy. Being raised by a warrior of the Löwe tribe, I could observe them, I analyzed their methods, and I adapted these principles for our own species. Before that, aura did not exist for humanity, at least not for us humans."
He paused, letting Kaiser digest the revelation.
"It was I who developed the Art of the Sundering Eclipse. The first human technique capable of rivaling the power of the superior races. It was born from countless trials, repeated failures, and wounds that should have been fatal, were it not for an unyielding will."
Kaiser lowered his eyes to his own hands. Although he had only mastered aura for a short time, he already knew its complexity and volatility. The idea that a single individual had laid its foundations made him dizzy.
"Afterwards," Sulyvhan continued, "I gathered around me seven generals. They were competent, ambitious, thirsty for power. Together, we waged the war against the demonic hordes. We reclaimed territories one by one, liberated human cities, and finally unified the continent under a single banner."
His voice remained neutral, but one could see his hatred in his gaze.
Kaiser stared at the cave floor, lost in thought.
"But...the Legendary Families... They are the descendants of those generals."
Sulyvhan nodded slowly.
"They chose to side with the Angels. They renounced aura, and above all, they betrayed me. It was this betrayal that propelled them to the status of ’Legendary Families’. They turned their choice into official doctrine and purged my name from all archives."
A feeling of nausea tightened Kaiser’s stomach.
Even with his prior knowledge of the universe, derived from the original novel, this version of events was totally unknown to him.
’I was always confident because of my knowledge of the future, but if even that I don’t know everything... Then I’m really screwed.’
"The Seraphs...So you claim they are not morally superior to the Demon Princes?"
In truth,he already knew the Seraphs were hypocritical sons of bitches, but much less savage than the demons. However, their method of cruelty was the only thing that made them different.
But he decided to play the role with Sulyvhan.
"They are not. They obey their own rules, play their own power games, and pursue their own ambitions. They do not protect humanity; they protect their interests. Humans are merely a resource to them, a means to counter their eternal enemies, the demons."
"Then, why reveal all this to me? Why now, after so many centuries? It doesn’t change much. They are currently out of reach for me."
Sulyvhan straightened almost imperceptibly, and his tone took on a more personal gravity.
"You asked me who I was...I am the true founder of the Empire of Alexandria: Alexander Sulyvhan."
"And I refuse to let my history sink into oblivion.I want those traitors to pay."
He took a deep breath.
"I understand. Finally, I wonder if you don’t know what happened before this era. There is nothing in the archives."
’Nor in the novel.’
An almost imperceptible smile touched Sulyvhan’s lips.
"Who knows?I remember my memories of a thousand years, but nothing more. My other memories must have been sealed by that Seraph. This world is far vaster and far more complex than the official accounts suggest. And, consequently, far more dangerous. You will experience this bitterly for yourself, in due time."
Kaiser observed Sulyvhan whose breathing became weaker and weaker, each inhalation seeming to require considerable effort.
"Before my strength leaves me for good,I have one last request," announced Sulyvhan, breaking the heavy silence.
Kaiser cautiously moved closer, his expression remaining neutral though a palpable tension gripped his chest.
"What is this request?"
Sulyvhan inhaled deeply,gathering his strength.
"I want you to hunt down the descendants of those who betrayed me.They continue to exist under a stolen name and prosper through unearned glory. Then find my descendants if I have any."
After a significant pause, his gaze became more intense, fixing directly on Kaiser.
"And I want you to perpetuate the Art of the Sundering Eclipse. This technique must not sink into oblivion a second time. It must survive through you."
Kaiser remained silent for a moment, inwardly jubilant but maintaining a circumstantial expression.
"I understand your desire, but currently, I am incapable of climbing the cliff surrounding this chasm. In my present state, I pose no threat to anyone."
A brief laugh, tinged with amused weariness, escaped Sulyvhan.
"A simple cliff is but a trivial obstacle before the Sundering Eclipse. If you master even the basics of this art, this kind of natural barrier will become negligible."
Intrigued,Kaiser straightened up slightly.
"Then explain to me clearly what this art consists of."
Sulyvhan closed his eyes for a moment,as if to draw on his memories, then reopened his eyelids.
"The Sundering Eclipse channels aura to form extremely thin Aura blades.Their precision and speed are absolute. They can slice through any physical matter, including the most resistant stone, but also sever energy flows themselves, regardless of their nature."
Kaiser listened with total attention, absorbing every word.
"This art is specifically designed for swordsmen and blademasters," Sulyvhan continued.
"It does not require exceptional physical strength, but relies entirely on perfect mastery of aura and unwavering concentration. If you learn to control these blades, you will be able to reach targets that others cannot even touch."
Sulyvhan’s voice was direct: "At my peak, with a glance I could sever an Archangel’s head."
Kaiser nodded.’So he must have reached Genesis.’
His gaze grew more intense, piercing into Kaiser’s.
"So,I ask you directly: do you wish to learn the five fundamental movements of my art?"
His decision was already made inwardly, but he kept his expression neutral.
"Yes,"he finally declared, in a firm voice. "I accept this teaching."
A discreet but genuine smile formed on Sulyvhan’s emaciated face. He raised a trembling hand. Immediately, the two swords sealed in the rock began to vibrate with a deep hum.
Kaiser instinctively took a step back.
The atmosphere of the cave suddenly changed, becoming tangibly denser. The surrounding darkness began to be tinged with two distinct and opposing glows: a brilliant white and an absolute black. These energies converged towards the swords.
The ground itself vibrated slightly, transmitting a regular, almost organic resonance through the soles of Kaiser’s boots.
"Know that the Seraphs will hunt you as much as the demonic princes when I teach you this Art.But it will only be enough to look at the moon hiding before the sun..."
