Extra: Yandere Milfs Obsessed with me!-Chapter 128: Becoming the Super Predator
"Man is the only species capable of preaching justice while shamelessly killing his fellow beings," Kaiser continued, letting out a sigh. "Who would have thought that the son of Duke Randal would be such a vile being..."
"Even I cannot claim to be a perfect person... but buying a slave to satisfy his ugliest desires, does he really have no limits?" Kaiser went on, adopting a thoughtful expression.
Justice was just a matter of perspective, just like truth. Everyone had their own way of seeing things and Kaiser knew it better than anyone, after all, he had been present at the time of the events and still had quite a deep knowledge of the novel.
Even if that bastard didn’t actually want to buy Kara as a slave. He still killed her brother right in front of her.
He wasn’t close to Kaiser, but having obtained most of the original Kaiser’s memories, he still considered him as blood.
"One day, I’m going to kill that asshole!" Kara spat, unable to contain her anger.
A discreet smile appeared on Kaiser’s face as he lowered his eyes to see Kara enter a furious rage. If Kris were here, it was almost certain she would try to shove her claws right into his face.
’That’s exactly what I’m hoping for... I’m going to take wicked pleasure in destroying the little reputation that bastard still has,’ Kaiser thought, his eyes still fixed on Kara who was muttering something. ’... What bad luck to run into me... ah ah ah...’
In the original work, Kris was described as this perfect hero destined for glory, greatness and fame, crushing anyone he considered evil in his path. Moreover in the original plot, Kaiser and his entire family were supposed to disappear at his hand.
What do you do when you’re facing someone who wants to kill you at all costs? The answer is simple, you also try to kill that son of a bitch by any means available. Here it’s the law of the jungle that prevails: Kill or be killed. And in this jungle Kaiser made the most plausible choice, become the super predator, the one who dominates this damn food chain and Kris was going to pay the price.
After a few minutes, Kara had finally calmed down more or less. Hands in his pockets, Kaiser decided it was time to start this duel.
"How do you want us to handle the fight... do you want me to go with or without aura?" Kaiser asked calmly. "... We’re just doing a little exchange to see if you’re worthy of being this young lord’s wife?" Kaiser added while giving a little wink.
"You should rather save that energy for saying bullshit like that to try not to die," Kara replied as she disappeared from the spot where she was standing.
"For someone who got her ass kicked, you’re surprisingly energetic, aren’t you..." Kaiser smiled as he prepared to receive the impact.
Kara reappeared a few meters from Kaiser, her claws already extended toward his torso. The movement was brutal, without warning. Kaiser pivoted slightly to the side, letting the claws slice through the air where his chest had been a second earlier.
"You don’t hold back..." he sighed.
The shock was narrowly avoided.
The ground cracked under Kara’s feet as she landed, already ready to charge again. She gave him no respite. She immediately followed up, claws raised, this time aiming for the face. Kaiser simply raised his forearm to deflect the attack, took a step back, then another.
"You really don’t plan on using a weapon?" Kara asked as she understood her opponent’s intentions. Was it arrogance or proof of his level?
"It won’t be necessary," he said calmly, without bothering to dwell on it.
Kara clenched her teeth. "Arrogant!"
She began to circle around him, faster and faster, her gaze fixed on his shoulders, on his hips, searching for an opening, the slightest one, no matter what it was, she intended to use it.
She knew very well that as an A- rank warrior, Kaiser’s physique was exceptional, but to say that it was not at all necessary to use his sword... it still stung a bit.
She charged again, multiplying the blows, her claws tracing rapid and unpredictable arcs.
Kaiser simply dodged. A sidestep. A twist of the torso. A slight retreat. His movements were lazy, but always precise. Several times, the claws passed within a few centimeters of his skin without ever touching him. And repeatedly, it was starting to get to Kara.
She had trained a lot lately, she had even been able to observe some of her progress and now she was facing a mountain, it almost seemed like all those efforts had been for nothing.
"I won’t accept it... not after all this!" she muttered while observing Kaiser’s relaxed posture. Despite this relaxed posture, she hadn’t managed to find any flaw in his defense.
"You strike with rage, your attacks become unpredictable indeed but at the same time you can’t touch me," Kaiser said while motioning with his hand to invite her to attack, it was as if he was giving a lesson.
Annoyed, Kara let out a short cry and accelerated even more. She attempted a feint, raising her right hand before striking with the left. Kaiser didn’t take the bait. He grabbed her wrist mid-motion, twisted her arm slightly and forced her to retreat.
He didn’t strike.
He simply released her.
Kara retreated several steps, surprised. She immediately straightened up, claws trembling, torn between the urge to attack again and growing frustration.
"Why aren’t you hitting back?" she spat.
Kaiser shrugged.
"Why would I? You’ll tire yourself out on your own."
She didn’t answer. She attacked.
This time, she aimed for the legs. She crouched, trying to unbalance him. Kaiser raised his knee and blocked the attack with a simple sharp clash against his forearm. The contact made the air vibrate. Kara grimaced under the impact.
Kaiser took advantage of the opening to land a punch on her shoulder. The gesture was clean, without excess. Kara was thrown to the side and rolled on the ground before getting up while swearing.
"You keep your center too high," he said. "You want to strike fast, but you forget to protect yourself."
She wiped the corner of her mouth with the back of her hand. Her gaze was harder now. Less blind. She took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly.
She changed her approach.
A smile spread across Kaiser’s lips. It seemed she had decided to follow his advice. She had the potential, she just needed someone to guide her.
Her movements became more measured. She advanced cautiously, claws lowered, observing Kaiser carefully. She attempted a shorter, more precise attack aimed at his shoulder. Kaiser blocked, but this time she managed to slash his sleeve.
A thin smile passed over Kara’s face.
"There you go," Kaiser said. "Now you’re thinking."
She tried to follow up, taking advantage of this small success. Kaiser deliberately left an opening, lowering his left arm. Kara took the bait and struck with all her strength.
Kaiser pivoted, dodged at the last moment and struck.
His fist crashed into Kara’s side with a dull sound. The air left her lungs brutally. She was thrown backward and collapsed onto one knee, panting.
He approached slowly.
"You rush as soon as you think you see an opening," he explained. "That’s exactly what I want."
