Extra: Yandere Milfs Obsessed with me!-Chapter 123: Unexpected Kiss
Kaiser was still thinking about the taste of Isabella when three knocks resounded at the door. The noise made him lift his head, surprised.
’The evening is already endless?’
He got up, without wasting time, turned the handle and opened.
Kara stood on the threshold, wearing training clothes. Her hair tied in a high ponytail. Her cheeks were slightly rosy from the cold of the hallway.
"You’re not sleeping yet?" she asked abruptly.
"Apparently not," Kaiser replied raising an eyebrow. "What’s going on?"
She crossed her arms. Her chin raised, her gaze planted in his without blinking.
"I want us to fight, in the main training room. I couldn’t sleep, I need to let off steam."
Kaiser studied her for a few seconds. He had barely taken his bath, tasted a beautiful flower and a tsundere presented herself a few minutes later?
"No problem. But first, we eat. I haven’t eaten anything since noon. You neither, I bet."
Kara frowned, a deep wrinkle appearing between her eyes.
"Eat? Seriously? You think I came for dinner?"
"You want to fight on an empty stomach, you’ll hurt yourself," he asked. "Me, it doesn’t bother me, but you, you’ll surely regret it."
She opened her mouth to throw back a reply, then, after mature reflection, she closed it. Her shoulders sagged imperceptibly. After a stubborn silence, she said in a lower voice:
"... Fine. Okay. But it’ll be quick. And you’re paying."
A very slight smile brushed Kaiser’s lips.
"Deal."
Dressing properly, they went out together. The main refectory was closed at this hour. However, at the edge of the upper dormitories quarter, a bluish sign flickered weakly: Le Chalet, a restaurant open until dawn for night owls and shift teams.
The interior smelled of waxed wood, hot grease and fresh bread. Dark oak tables, scratched by time, were lit by copper-shaded lamps. They took a seat at the back, in a relatively isolated corner.
Kaiser ordered a thick ribeye steak, rare to perfection, accompanied by roasted potatoes and a heavy, aromatic green pepper sauce. Without even consulting the menu, Kara pointed to the same choice.
When the plates arrived, Kara attacked hers, cutting the meat. For several minutes, only the sound of knives and forks echoed.
Kaiser, after swallowing a bite, rested his elbows on the table, he broke the silence.
"You’re training too much, Kara."
She lifted her head with a sharp movement, her fork suspended.
"Sorry?" Kara replied looking confused.
"You’re training like your life depends on it. Every day, right?" he explained. "You sleep four or five hours, skip meals, and spend your free time replaying your combat sessions. At this rate, you won’t progress anymore, you’ll break, physically and mentally."
She clenched her jaws, then replied.
"I want to be strong. As strong as possible. I have to get revenge on my uncle."
"Being strong, yes. Destroying yourself to achieve it, no," he cut in. "You’re already progressing very fast, much faster than others your age. But if you continue on this slope, in six months you’ll be either repeatedly injured or mentally exhausted. And at that point, you won’t be useful to anyone, especially not to your revenge."
Kara lowered her eyes to her plate, knowing the truth all too well. She speared a piece, turned it, but didn’t bring it to her mouth.
"I need a strong bodyguard... You don’t need to exhaust yourself so soon."
’This world is going to be fucked in a few years, no need to exhaust yourself so early,’ he thought.
"... And you, then?" she finally murmured, without raising her gaze. "Didn’t you train hard to reach this level?"
"I train differently," Kaiser corrected. "Fewer hours, but much more intense. And above all, I rest enough not to suffer the consequences. You, you never stop."
She let out a grunt. When the waiter passed at that moment. Without even looking at Kaiser, Kara raised her hand.
"Some bottles of beer."
Kaiser raised an eyebrow, but said nothing. The bottle and two glasses arrived. Kara poured herself a glass which she downed in one go. She poured a second which she drank more slowly, eyes vacant. Little by little, a livelier warmth rose to her cheeks, and the stiffness of her shoulders seemed to dissolve slightly. She set her glass down, placed her elbows on the table, and fixed Kaiser.
"You know sometimes you’re really annoying?" Kara threw out.
"Just a fucking arrogant."
Kaiser sketched a slight smile. "I’m just stating facts."
She chuckled, shaking her head. "Yeah, yeah... And you, what goal do you have ultimately."
He observed in his glass, gently swirling the contents. "Survive... Be powerful enough so that no one or no event can dictate my actions."
She refilled her glass once more. The third went faster. "I see... Me sometimes I feel like. Just... stopping thinking. Stopping obsessing over this revenge, anyway it won’t bring my father back." Her voice had become lower, a bit slurred.
"It happens to everyone... But we can’t stop halfway. We just need to take breaks sometimes."
Kaiser let the silence settle between them, content to watch a slightly drunk Kara without interrupting her.
She continued, eyes fixed on a vague point on the table. "And sex too. I think about it often lately. I’ve never... well, not really. But sometimes I feel like trying. Just to see. To know what it feels like." Then she raised her eyes, fixing him straight in the pupils. "With you, for example."
"What!? Ahaha, you seem drunk, Kara. A bit too honest right now."
"I’m not drunk!" she protested, her voice snapping a bit too loud, making two customers at the next table turn. Then, recovering, lower: "Well... a little. But I know what I’m saying. I want to try, not just because of the alcohol."
He shook his head gently. "Not tonight."
She leaned forward, forearms on the table, bringing her face closer to his. "Why? Because I’m drunk? Or because you don’t think I’m good enough?" 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺
"Because you’ll wake up with a hangover and the embarrassment of having forced me to fuck you... And me, I have no desire to deal with that."
She remained silent for a long moment. Then, without warning, she half-stood, grabbed the collar of his tunic and pulled him toward her to kiss him.
The kiss was abrupt, clumsy. Her lips tasted sweet from the wine, and trembled slightly. Kaiser didn’t push her away immediately. He responded, gently, perfectly controlling the movement, placing a hand on her nape to calm the ardor of the gesture.
When she pulled back, she was breathing fast, in short gasps. Her eyes were moist. "You responded..." she murmured.
"Yes," he admitted without emotion. "But that’s it."
She frowned, vexed, the disappointment turning into irritation. "Why? Was it that bad?"
"Yeah... Hahaha. Let’s say I’ve experienced better today."
Kara stared at him for a long time. Then she sat back down heavily, crossed her arms and looked away.
"You’re really annoying..."
"I know, people tell me often." he said simply.
She stayed mute for a moment. Then, in a smaller voice, almost inaudible: "I might not be able to train anymore in this state... I’m going back to the dorms.."
They settled the bill, Kaiser paying without a word. Then he put an arm around her waist when she almost stumbled on the doorstep going out. She grumbled for form’s sake, "I can manage, let go...", but let herself be guided, leaning slightly against him.
The walk to the dorms was silent. She walked slowly, head down. Arriving in front of her door, she leaned against the cold wall, searching for her card.
"Thanks for the meal..." she murmured, without looking at him. "Even if it wasn’t exactly... what I wanted at first."
"You’re welcome and thanks for this unexpected kiss."
She finally raised her eyes toward him. All the fire from earlier had died out, leaving great fatigue in its place. "You’re really never... going to consider the possibility? Even when I’m not drunk?"
Kaiser ran a hand caressing her face. "We’ll talk about it when you have clear ideas. And I doubt you’ll have the same opinion. Now, sleep, Kara."
She nodded slowly, as if the movement was difficult. "Yeah... Maybe you’re not wrong. Good night, Kaiser."
"Good night."
He waited for her to enter and the door to close. Then he returned to his own room.
"It’s going to be a bit cardio with all these girls. All that’s missing is a milf trying to kill me to complete the set." He laughed to himself. Not knowing that this milf existed... And not just one.
