Extra: Yandere Milfs Obsessed with me!-Chapter 122: Duchess Dyana Donoghan, You’re Next on the List~
In his room...
Finishing his bath, Kaiser shirtless, a white bath towel around his neck. He was rubbing his wet silver hair. The room, though simple, offered a surprisingly spacious area. The lighting came from a single luminescent sphere suspended in the center of the ceiling, dispensing a soft and uniform glow that softened the room’s angles.
"It’s not bad, but I probably won’t stay here long."
He was crossing the room quietly toward the mirror hanging on the wall when three knocks resounded against his door.
He froze, eyebrows slightly furrowed in annoyance.
’At such a late hour, who would dare come disturb this goat?’
After a brief hesitation, he placed the towel on the back of a nearby chair, then headed to the entrance. Without a word, he turned the handle and opened the door.
Isabella stood in the frame. She wore a long pearl gray dress, cut from fabric so fine it seemed almost fluid. Under the harsh hallway light, the material appeared translucent, hugging every curve of her body, which did not hide her small breasts outlined clearly, the tips visible through the fabric, and her hips marked a soft curve that ended in a round and firm posterior.
Her arms were crossed under her chest, a gesture which slightly lifted the fabric and further accentuated her silhouette. Her red hair, freed from any restraint, cascaded in waves over her bare shoulders. She slowly raised her eyes toward him, and her amber irises fixed on him without blinking.
"Am I having a waking dream? What is the beauty of the empire doing at my doorstep at this hour?" Kaiser asked, his voice low and teasing?
Isabella did not answer immediately. A tiny, barely sketched smile settled at the corner of her lips. And she tilted her head to the side.
"You’re not going to invite me in?"
Kaiser studied her for several seconds. Finally, he stepped back, clearing the doorway.
"How could I dare~"
Isabella passed in front of him, and with the movement, a light floral and fresh perfume brushed the air around him. He closed the door behind her.
She advanced a few steps into the room, casting a curious glance over the decor.
"I must admit I was surprised," she commented in a soft voice. "Apart from your fight with my brother, I didn’t know you were so talented..."
Kaiser shrugged slightly.
"Of course, you don’t know everything about me Lady Isabella."
He went to lean against the opposite wall, facing her. Arms crossed, still shirtless, his hair still wet dripping slowly onto his shoulders. He stared unabashedly at the curves of her body.
"Hmm~ you’re playing mysterious."
"Well, I hope you like mysterious guys." Kaiser added with a slight smile to which she narrowed her eyes.
"Why do I always feel like you’re speaking with double meaning?"
"Maybe that’s the case... anyway, let’s get to the point. Why has Lady Donoghan come in person to a boy’s room? The crown prince would be jealous..." he asked in return.
Isabella sketched that small almost amused smile again.
"Always so direct... We could have chatted a bit first, no? Take our time. Exchange pleasantries..."
"A sage said that beauties can easily capture and break a man’s heart. As a wise man, I must always be on guard against the flower of the empire~"
"Flower of the empire? You’re exaggerating Lord Paragon~"
While speaking, she had slowly approached his desk. She placed a hand there, fingers brushing the smooth wooden surface, then half-turned toward him.
"I’m here to talk to you about the Imperial faction, obviously."
Kaiser let out a slow breath, almost a sigh through his nose, a sign of weariness.
"It seems I hoped for nothing Lady Isabella."
She tilted her head to the other side, studying his features.
"And what were you hoping for Lord Paragon? You’ve piqued my curiosity."
"Anyway, never mind... And for the imperial faction. I don’t wish to join any faction for the moment."
"You haven’t even listened to what I had to offer. You’re rejecting everything outright."
Isabella then took another step toward him, further reducing the distance between them. The sphere’s light made the fine fabric shine on her skin. Her voice lowered, losing its light tone to become more intimate.
"Sorry, Lady Isabella but because of Lady Hornraven, I’m immune. With your almond eyes do you think you can hypnotize me in the amber depths of your gaze? Or your enchanting smile? It won’t work." 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
Kaiser didn’t move an inch. His gaze lost in hers.
A heavy silence settled between them. Isabella lowered her eyes for a moment, before slowly raising her face toward his.
"And if I offer you to become one of the most influential members of the faction?"
Kaiser pretended to hesitate as if the proximity made him uncomfortable.
"Lady Isabella please step back, otherwise my heart won’t hold."
"You’re really impossible, you know that?"
She sighed while uncrossing her arms. The silky fabric of her dress slid slightly on her skin, revealing a bit more of the elegant curve of her clavicle. She knew perfectly well that Kaiser was playing with her.
Kaiser remained silent for a few seconds.
"As you wanted us to talk about banalities at the beginning... We can always continue with that. So how have you been feeling lately?"
The two were still close when Isabella tucked her hair behind her ear with a pensive expression.
"You know, in the Imperial faction, the situation is... quite particular. Everyone treats me differently because of my engagement to Julius. And as for Adrian..." She marked a slight pause, searching for her words.
"He’s kind. Really. He’s never disrespected me, never raised his voice. But he’s how to say... obsessed with his big brother. The permanent comparison, that competition eating at him. Every time he makes advances toward me, every attempt at closeness, I have the clear impression he’s trying to prove something to Julius and it makes me uncomfortable to guess a trophy in a fraternal relationship."
She took a deep breath, her eyes getting lost for a moment beyond Kaiser’s shoulder.
"And me, in the middle of all that... I feel alone. Terribly alone."
Kaiser was still looking at her...
"I understand what you mean... Myself, I’ve always been alone, my mother died when she gave birth to me and my brother ended up dying a few years ago, I only have my father left. I drown myself in the complexity of county affairs so as not to think about my loneliness... it’s completely normal to feel alone Lady Isabella.
The two looked into each other’s eyes before Kaiser continued
"But why are you telling me all this?" he questioned.
"Because, you seem... With you, I have this strange and rare feeling that I can simply be myself, the identity of the prince’s fiancée you don’t care... And..." She hesitated, then frankness won out. "And tonight, I felt like being close to someone who doesn’t consider me first as the future wife of Prince Julius Dantalion."
She raised a hand in a hesitant movement then turned around, her expression unreadable.
"I’m not asking you to join the faction. It’s even out of the question... I’m just asking..."
Kaiser remained motionless for a long moment. As Isabella gave him a glance, he tucked a strand behind her ear. She could feel the warmth of his palm.
"You know," he murmured, "I’m not the kind of guy who consoles princesses in distress. But if you need someone you can count on me."
A smile that was born softly at the corner of her lips to slightly illuminate her gaze.
"Thank you..."
Then, she rose on tiptoe. Her lips approached, brushing his without really touching them then gave him a kiss on his cheek.
Kaiser didn’t hesitate a second. Then, he tilted his head and captured her lips in a kiss.
His hand slid from the base of her waist to anchor in the hollow of her back, pressing her firmly against him, reducing the remaining space. Isabella, in a breath, wrapped her arms around his neck, her slender fingers sinking into the still damp mass of his hair.
When they separated, the sound of their slightly panting breathing broke the silence. Isabella’s cheeks were tinged with a light pink...
He then looked directly into her eyes, plunging his gaze into hers.
"I... I think... What... Uh... I think that... Good night Kaiser..."
Isabella laughed nervously while touching her lips... While Kaiser looked at her with tenderness.
She then headed toward the door. Before crossing the threshold, she turned around.
"Kaiser. This... I think it would be better for both of us if it didn’t happen again. It’s..."
"Good night, Isabella."
The door closed behind her without a sound, with the softness of well-oiled hinges.
Kaiser remained alone in the middle of the room. He ran a hand through his hair, ruffling it a bit more. Then he walked to the bed before sitting down.
He had taken a step toward Isabella. In reality he wanted to go slower, but he thought maybe it was the right moment.
"One strikes while it’s hot," they say. He laughed.
The image of Isabella who thought she could come and manipulate him into joining the faction and ultimately did the unthinkable, amused him a little.
"Duchess Dyana Donoghan you are next on the list."
...
Behind the door, Isabella was slumped against it, she really hadn’t expected it. It was so sudden the conversation took a turn and ultimately...
"I... This is a mistake it won’t happen again." She told herself while biting her lips thinking about Kaiser’s touch.
She had to admit that Kaiser appealed to her a little. But she was engaged. And apart from the politics that exhausted her she loved Julius.
’So how did this happen? Would I have cheated on my fiancé if he had continued?’
"I’ve played a dangerous game. I must take precautions..." She noted mentally, keep her relationship with Kaiser strictly professional at all costs for the good of the imperial faction... Nothing more...
