Evolution Online: Building a Kingdom with 100\% drop rate-Chapter 5: Ch-: Player Market
After about an hour later.
Victor looked at the ground, which was littered with the corpses of beasts, and then checked his accumulated experience and free stat points.
--------------
Name: Victor Silvernum
Race: Human
Bloodline: Origin Bloodline (SSS Rank)
Class: Warlock
Tier: 0
Exp Stored: 750
Free Stats Points: 63
---------------
"Hmm, let’s dump all the stats into mana," Victor pondered for some time before deciding to pour all the free stat points into the mana stat.
[Mana: 5 → 15]
[Ding Dong]
[Maximum of ten free stat points can be assigned to a single stat at each level]
"Oh?" Victor raised an eyebrow when he saw this and decided to freely distribute the remaining free stat points evenly across the other stats.
[Vitality: 1 → 10]
[Attack: 1 → 10]
[Defense: 1 → 10]
[Agility: 1 → 10]
[Intelligence: 1 → 10]
[Dexterity: 1 → 10]
After improving his stats, he directly looked at the stored EXP and decided to inject it to increase his level and upgrade the Purgatory Lightning Bullet skill.
[You have reached Level 2]
[You have reached Level 3]
[You have upgraded Purgatory Lightning Bullet skill to Level 2]
Victor then opened his stat sheet.

"Huh, I definitely feel stronger." Victor nodded his head in satisfaction as he looked at his stats. Normally, a player would receive four free stat points each time they leveled up instead of random attribute increases, and they could assign them according to their preference.
[Ding Dong]
[You have reached Level 3 and have met the conditions for opening the world player market. Do you want to use your NPC name or create a separate player identity?]
"Oh, this completely slipped my mind," Victor muttered. After pondering for some time, he decided on a name.
[Ding Dong]
[Earth Server Announcement]
[Player "Faceless" is the first to reach Level 3]
[Player leaderboards have been opened]
[Player market has been opened]
These notifications appeared not only in front of the players in the game but also across real-world gaming forums, throwing the entire world into an uproar.
Victor then opened the player forum.
-------------
Dragongamer6666: F*ck! Level 3!? I only got enough EXP to fill half the bar to reach Level 2, and this guy—how could he reach Level 3 so quickly? The monsters are hard to kill!
Gamerblzer83: Yeah, I even saw a few players die when they ganged up on small, weak monsters.
Kitgaming: Who the hell is this Faceless? I don’t know any famous streamer with that name.
Gamer879: Maybe it’s someone famous who’s hiding their identity to avoid public attention.
Conspiraciesguy99: Yeah, the guy above is right. It’s a really smart move to use an alias. Who knows, someone might get jealous and target them.
Noobplayer79: Exactly. Just a few minutes ago, a player ruthlessly pinned another player down and let a monster slowly eat him alive.
Player599: That’s brutal, but where I am, players have already started killing each other.
---------
Victor’s eyes narrowed when he saw a few texts talking about player killing, and he thought, ’Looks like some of them are talking about me, and in some places players have already started killing each other.’
Victor then opened the player panel and was surprised when he saw the name below his.
[Player Leaderboards]
1. Faceless (Level 3)
2. Olivia (Level 2)
3.------
"Tsk, even at such an early stage, she’s already showing her potential as one of the top future players," Victor clicked his tongue as he shook his head.
He then opened the player market and directly listed a few Static Daggers he had obtained from killing some Electric Wolves he encountered.
-------- [Player Market]
Item: Static Daggers
Rank: Common
Quantity: 100
Price: 5 Experience Points
Seller: Faceless
As soon as Victor listed the item, it was like a stone thrown into a calm lake, sending ripples everywhere. Within seconds, the comment section under the product was flooded with messages.
[D*mn, impossible! How does he have so many daggers? I only got one after killing at least a few dozen monsters.]
[Yeah, what’s going on? How does he have this many?]
[Impossible! The drop rate is too low—how can he have so many daggers?!]
[Do you all think he’s cheating?]
[That might be the only plausible explanation.]
[I’m going to report him.]
[Are you all idiots? If he cheated, he would have had to be close to the admins or the Creator. Knowing everyone would be watching him in the game, do you really think he’d dare do that?]
[Yeah, you’re right.]
[Could it be some kind of talent or skill?]
[A skill? I don’t think so, but maybe some kind of item he got.]
[Still suspicious as hell.]
[Fck!!! What’s going on?! Who the fck emptied the shop?!]
[Shit, shit—I was a bit late!]
[Why the hell does he want experience points?]
[Experience points are better for me. I don’t even have a single bronze coin—only 5 EXP. Stop complaining.]
Victor looked at the chaotic chatbox and shook his head indifferently. He watched as his accumulated experience kept increasing, and within less than one minute, all the daggers were sold.
Victor directly spent 450 experience to level up.
[You have reached Level 4]
[You have reached Level 5]
[Ding Dong]
[Conditions have been met]
[You have triggered a bloodline quest]

Slash
Zizz
The corpse of the one-eyed rat fell lifelessly to the ground, with a few blue arcs of electricity crackling across its body as Olivia returned the dagger to her sheath.
"Buying the dagger was really the right choice," Rachel said in satisfaction as she, along with Andrew—who had also purchased a static dagger—walked toward Olivia.
"What are you looking at, Olivia?" Rachel asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Leaderboards, there’s been a change," Olivia said with a curl of her lips.
[Player Leaderboards]
1. Faceless (Level 5)
2.Olivia (Level 2)
3. Andrew (Level 2)
4. Rachel (Level 2)
"Level 5, already?" Rachel said in an astonished voice.
"Well, it’s not surprising. He did sell those daggers for experience," Andrew said calmly, though there was a tinge of envy in his voice.
"Olivia, how do you think he got those daggers?" Andrew asked.
"Who knows, maybe he got some artifact or skill that makes the drop rate 100%," Olivia said while shrugging her shoulders.
"Hah, that’s absurd," Andrew said with a snort.
"Pfft, your imagination sure is exaggerated," Rachel said with a chuckle.
What they did not know was that they had completely hit the mark about Victor.

Meanwhile, while the players were busy getting stronger, the world was in turmoil following the game’s first world announcement.
Rich and powerful companies in the real world began looking into the player named Faceless, hoping to uncover his real identity. However, it was a near-impossible task due to the way the game handled player privacy.
Unlike other games where one could see players’ names at a glance, Evolution Online did not have that feature. Unless an individual allowed it, nobody would be able to see their name—not even their friends.
This would not have been frustrating if this were a normal game. The people at the top of the ladder had already begun to feel that this game was far from simple and shrouded in mystery. In fact, they had already contacted top experts related to the field and even leading scientists, but they were clueless, though they confirmed that trapping players inside the game should not be possible with current technology.
Moreover, many top institutions and families were monitoring players connected to the VR system and had noticed that their physical and mental attributes in real life were growing stronger. This sent them into an uproar, but the information was hidden from the public so the rich and powerful could benefit from it first.
Across the internet, game forums, and even newspapers, people began offering real money for information on Faceless, with some outright offering millions of dollars for the person himself to reveal his identity.
Victor’s eyes widened as he read the description of the new quest.
[Ding Dong]
[You have triggered a Bloodline Quest]
[Quest: Magic Mechanic]
[Description: Create a weapon made purely through technology and create another magical cold weapon]
