Evolution Online: Building a Kingdom with 100\% drop rate-Chapter 13: Ch-: Leaving the Dunegon

Victor looked at the description of the reward he got with a surprised expression on his face.

"Mask of Loki... Mythic Rank," Victor mumbled as his eyes widened in surprise.

The reason for his surprise was that this reward was different from the one he had obtained in his last life... this one was far better than the one he got previously.

The item he had received back then was called the Skin of Loki, and it was only an Epic-rank item, but the reward he had gotten this time was Mythic rank, just two ranks lower than the highest known rank an item could have.

"Thousands of faces," Victor took a deep breath reading the description. Compared to the item which allowed him to copy the appearance of only a single person, this one was far, far better.

"You are Faceless!"

Victor snapped out of his thoughts when he heard the scream of a woman and saw Rachel pointing her finger at him. Andrew and Olivia were also looking at him with surprise.

Victor smirked and replied, "Yeah."

"How on Earth did you level up so fast? Are you cheating?" Rachel asked in disbelief. Ever since the first time Faceless appeared on the ranking list, she had been dying to know the reason for his insane progress.

Even Andrew and Olivia looked at Victor with curiosity mixed with wariness.

Victor did not reply and instead looked at the white faceless mask in his hand before putting it into his inventory.

"H-Hey, that mask—!"

"I’ll keep it."

Victor interrupted Rachel before she could finish her words.

He turned and looked at her casually. "You guys couldn’t get the most kills, I did. That’s why I got it. If you have a problem, take it up with the Records."

Rachel knew that Victor was right, but she didn’t want to give up easily, not when the reward of such a difficult quest had most likely given him a very high-ranked item.

"Th-That may be the case, but without us you might not have completed the quest!" she said without much conviction.

Victor looked at her emotionlessly for a few seconds before speaking his true feelings.

"Childish and impertinent brat."

"Wh—" Rachel began to tremble all over, and her face turned red with anger and embarrassment. "What did you say?!"

"Rachel, enough, he is right," Andrew sternly said from the side. She tried to look at Olivia for some support, but she also did not say anything and looked away.

"Hey, can I ask you something?" Andrew said. Victor looked at him curiously and nodded. Then Andrew opened his mouth and asked, "That inventory... how did you unlock it?"

Andrew and even the girls looked at him, waiting for his answer.

"Oh, it looks like the inventory function is a special skill I awakened earlier."

Hearing this, all three of them frowned as they had assumed that, like in other games, the inventory skill would be free.

No wonder I did not see any loot drop from the monsters he killed, he must have kept it inside, Olivia thought inwardly and grimaced when she saw the loot that had dropped on the ground, as they had no storage to carry it.

[Ding Dong]

[Quest has been completed]

[Teleporting everyone out in 5...4...]

"Shit, the loot!" Rachel cursed as their bodies were covered with white light.

At least we did not leave empty-handed, Rachel thought with a sigh, as she had at least obtained a unique bloodline.

Woosh

The next moment, everyone vanished from the dungeon.

"Hmm, looks like I teleported to a different place," Victor mumbled as he looked around, since this was not the same place where he had entered the dungeon from.

Victor did not pay much attention to it and opened his inventory.

[Inventory: Tier 0 Knight Summoning Certificate (x200)...]

Victor’s eyes gleamed when he saw the number of certificates he had obtained. Many of the goblins in the quest had dropped these, and he collected them from the ones he killed. He could have accumulated more if the three of them had not killed so many, but alas...

"That’s more than enough for now, time to leave the island," Victor mumbled as he brought out the Mask of Loki in one hand, and in the other he held the skin mask of the grunt he had carved out earlier.

Buzz

He activated the Mask of Loki, and a beam of light directly covered the skin mask.

[Copy successful]

"Not bad," Victor mumbled as he put the white mask on his face, and he felt his entire face and body change. He walked toward a nearby puddle and saw that not only his face but his entire body had changed to that of the grunt he had killed, even the voice.

"Wait, I even got the memories," Victor’s eyes widened when he felt that he had obtained the memories of the grunt as well, which surprised him, and he mumbled, "As expected of a Mythic-rank item."

He then pulled the mask off his face.

Rustle

"Hmm." Victor looked back when he heard the rustling and sensed multiple people approaching. He activated his Danger Zone and was slightly surprised

"Look who I have found—it’s that arrogant guy," a handsome young man sneered as he approached Victor.

A massive group of about 60 people approached Victor and surrounded him.

After seeing how strong Victor was and how quickly he killed monsters, nearly every individual in his group had previously approached him in hopes of having him join their team.

Naturally, Victor refused to help anyone, which made many dissatisfied with him, but he did not care, as many in those groups were backstabbers or weaklings.

Of course, the other participants were not willing to accept his rejection and began threatening him together, but that stopped after he killed a few of them as an example. Now, judging by their looks, they seemed to have regained their backbone, as they had leveled up and their group had grown bigger.
