Chapter 359: Young Girl

After checking her current state and roughly understanding her future path, Liora stopped thinking about herself and shifted her focus to the other major benefit she had obtained in this world.

Or rather, to the gift that the Demon God had given her before perishing.

It was a small clock, the treasure that made the Demon God who he is.

As Liora pulled it out of her space ring, time itself seemed to blur around her, and a vision of a river flowing appeared.

Her mind was connected with the Time Clock.

Perhaps because the Demon God had presented it to her, this treasure had already recognized her as its master, and she could already make use of it.

At the same time, its functions were revealed to her.

"Prophecy—the Time Clock will randomly predict future scenes. Depending on its wielder’s strength, the scenes that one can glimpse become more and more distant."

"Time Warp—the Time Clock can form one Wisp of Time every year."

"Unpredictability—the future of the wielder becomes harder to detect."

Information about its functions resurfaced in Liora’s mind as her fingers lightly brushed against the Time Clock’s backside.

Each one of these functions was extremely strong, making it worthy of being a treasure that could utilize the power of time.

The Demon God had already fully displayed the power of Prophecy. Through the information gained, he had been able to lay out a plan spanning thousands of years.

Similarly, although the other two functions seemed far less significant, they were equally valuable, if not even more.

Besides them, what made Liora interested was the Time Clock itself.

The materials used to forge it were far from extraordinary. Though it was difficult for her to break, Liora could see that it was far from being indestructible.

Thus, it was obvious that it was not a truly precious treasure. The reason why the Time Clock possessed such abilities remained an enigma.

Liora, however, did not pay heed to this for long.

After playing with the Time Clock for a few more minutes, she casually set it aside.

Then, she raised her head and looked outside.

Her gaze was able to pierce through the landscapes and arrive at the Central Area.

Seeing that the few surviving Demon Saints and Demon Sovereigns were becoming increasingly anxious and were ready to "harvest" the world to replenish their Divine Aura, she knew that she had to take action.

Otherwise, it was only a matter of time before they killed everyone.

Even if it were not for the Demon God’s words, Liora would still calm down the chaos, solely because a chaotic environment was not very beneficial for her.

With that in mind, a silver umbrella appeared in Liora’s hand.

She tossed it forward, and the umbrella flew out of the Blood Devil Sect, rushing towards the Central Area.

Halfway through the journey, this Demon Weapon transformed into a silver dragon.

Letting out a powerful roar, its eyes shone with surprising intelligence, and it flew towards the surviving Divine Clans.

As if thinking that this was not enough, Liora didn’t stop there.

A crimson light flickered on her forehead before a saber materialized. Then, just like the Demon Weapon before it, her Manifestation also shot towards the Central Area.

After doing this, Liora no longer paid any attention to these people.

Her focus shifted back to herself and the Blood Devil Sect, as she summoned the Elders and passed down several instructions.

"Ah! Huff!"

A young girl with red hair stood in a large backyard, wielding a sword to strike against a wooden training dummy.

The girl was not too strong. Yet, her movements were quite refined and ethereal.

Each wave of her sword was accompanied by a mysterious atmosphere, evidence of her extraordinary swordsmanship.

After a few hours of training, the girl placed the sword aside and took a deep breath while wiping the sweat off her forehead.

"I can feel that I’m getting closer and closer to the Blood Awakening realm, but this is far from enough."

"I have to practice harder!"

"I have to get powerful enough to get revenge for my Master!", the girl whispered with clenched fists, and thinking of her Master, she skipped over and entered the building.

After wandering through the corridors, she arrived at a silent, dimly lit room.

A white-haired woman was sitting with her back facing the door, staring at a portrait in front of her with undisguised hatred.

The woman did not look old. In fact, her face and overall body looked to be only in her early twenties.

However, the white hair and the cloudiness in her red eyes made it clear that she did not have much time to live.

At best, a few more years. At worst, a couple of months.

"Master!"

Seeing the woman look absent-minded, the girl bowed respectfully and called out.

She didn’t immediately get an answer.

It was only after several minutes that the white-haired woman spoke up.

"Have you finished today’s training? That’s good."

"I can feel that you are extremely close to the Blood Awakening realm. With your talent, there is a chance that you’ll one day surpass your Master."

The woman’s voice was normal at first, but it became increasingly rough towards the end. She coughed loudly, a few drops of blood dripping down her lips.

Hearing her tone and feeling her Master’s body tremble, tears welled up in the girl’s eyes.

She could see it.

Her Master, who had raised her since she was little and had taught her everything she knew, didn’t have long to live.

Although she was a Warrior, she had suffered grave injuries at the hands of her enemies. As such, she was destined to die soon.

"Master! Don’t worry! I vow to take revenge on your enemy!"

"Once I become strong enough, I will surely kill them!", the girl gritted her teeth and spoke, as her gaze landed on the portrait that her Master was holding.

Seemingly sensing her gaze, the white-haired woman hastily put it away.

She didn’t turn around but remained with her back facing the girl as she waved her hand.
