Apollo groaned, his expression very sinister. This person, whoever they were, had truly provoked him. He understood the importance of eliminating that day’s evidence, and wanted to do so. However, he was being extorted.

Yesterday, she had proposed to him at the back of the school, looking all shy and blushing. Naturally, Liam’s heart was moved by her beauty and charisma, but he knew a relationship couldn’t be rushed. Hence, the delay of his answer.

Kiera seemed to have caught him staring at her. She glanced at him, then hurriedly looked away, a faint blush on her cheeks.

To avoid suspicion, he bought 25 pieces of Beast-Level Soul Crystals, and 4 pieces of Monster-Level Soul Crystals. This should be enough to last him for a week, if he was fully focused.

On the way back, he realized Maya and Liam had both messaged him. The girl agreed to meet with him in the library on Friday, while the boy asked about his health. Kaiser casually replied to their messages, then began to return to the dormitory. The sky had darkened, a sign it was about to rain.

"Isn’t that...?"

From afar, he caught sight of two people hugging, and couldn’t help but raise a brow in surprise. Although he couldn’t see their faces, he was sure that it was Liam and Kiera.

"Oh? Is this what they call the spring of youth?"

He said indifferently, then resumed walking. Their budding relationship was of no concern to him, and he had no intention of spreading rumors.

At the sidewalk, other students were also returning to the dorms with their friends. At this moment, someone beside Kaiser tripped, and almost fell.
