"See?! I’m too small!" she complained. "Look at me! I should definitely be as tall as you are or taller! Why am I smaller than you?!"

She complained angrily, as I noticed her pointy ears.

"The humanoid form we take as a Dragonoid is often influenced by the humanoid races we live with," I explained. "I take upon the form of Ice Giants, like the rest of my family. Meanwhile you clearly look like a mix between Dwarves and Desert Elves, hence your small size, brown skin, and pointy ears."

"EH?!" She gasped, finally realizing the truth. "No way! How didn’t I never figure that out?! Wait, Jord did you knew?!"

"I didn’t..." Jord said. "I guess it makes sense now that I think about it..."

I omitted the part where I ate Ice Giants, and this is why I can take upon an Ice Giant form myself...

Or that I am technically also an Ice and a Fire Titan right now.

Or that my children are all half ice giants except Kate? But she inherited that from me anyway.

"Still! This is the worst anyway! Is there a way for me to copy the Ice Giants?" Amethyst asked.

"I don’t know, you’ll probably have to live with them for years or something," I said with a shrug. "Anyway, let’s go. I’ve seen Ice Dragons turn into more human-like forms too so it varies, I suppose that once you master the spell you can turn into anything you want, I can do that too."

"Ugh..." she cried annoyedly, walking by my side as we entered the castle. "The food better be good!"

"It will," I said, as we entered the living room where a huge table was ready, and a lot of food was flying over it, my family had already arrived, sitting around the table for a meal.

Benladann, Andromeda, Miranda, Yuki, Benladra, Kate, and Drakda looked at us with slight surprise, especially after seeing the little one by my side.

"Drake you’re here!" Benladann smiled happily. "And... huh?"

"Wait, who’s the pipsqueak?" Miranda asked.

"P-pipsqueak?!" Amethyst was about to lose it. "H-How dare you call me like that?! I am a great Earth and Light Dragon! My form is intimidating and mighty! I am not a little shrimp!"

"Nobody called you that..." Yuki said. "Is she Amethyst?"

"Yeah," I nodded. "We finally came into good terms after a lot of training, she has agreed to have dinner with us. This is her Dragonoid form, somehow she feels embarrassed about it even though it looks perfectly fine, right?"

"It does!" Andromeda nodded. "Please don’t be ashamed, Amethyst, you’re gorgeous."

"Indeed, I don’t know why you would be ashamed or embarrassed," Benladann said while drinking juice.

"Wooow! So you’re Amethyst? Hi!" Benladra said, my daughter seemed excited to finally meet her. "Let’s be friends?"

"I also want to be friends," Kate nodded with a cute smile. "Can we?"

"Friends?!" Amethyst was confused, looking at me and then back at the girls. "I... Uuuh, okay? I guess... wait! I’m not a child! I am much older than you two! Did you want to be friends because I look your age?!"

"Pwetty..." Drakda, in the other case, seemed to be finally experiencing his first crush.

Wow, I didn’t expect Amethyst to be that one...

He was staring at her intensively, his big eyes glowing with sparkles.

He was barely entering the age he can speak and walk on his own, and yet he falls in love?

This kid is a bit too ahead of himself!

Not even his two elder sisters had ever thought about any of that yet...

"Huh?" Miranda noticed Drakda’s reaction. "Drakda what are you even...?"

"Pwetty!" Drakda smiled cutely. "Gift?"

"Huh?" Amethyst was surprised as the little boy flew to her side with his wings and gifted her something. "What is this?"

Amethyst was holding with her hands a chocolate-covered donut filled with cream.

"Yummy!" Drakda giggled cutely.

"Haha, eh? Thanks..." Amethyst raised an eyebrow.

I guess the boy wasn’t really that romantically attracted, too young for that, but he did feel like she was pretty and that there was something within him, but he’s too young to even realize what it is.

However, being nice to her seemed to have surged out of nowhere...

"Nom... Hmm?!" Amethyst’s eyes widened in disbelief as she took a bite of the doughnut. "W-What is this?! Wow! Nom, nom, nom! Hmmm! It’s so sweet and crunchy... ahhh, and there was... milk inside? Cream? Was that cream?"

"Is this your first time eating a doughnut?" Benladra giggled. "Come sit by my side and I’ll give you some more!"

"Yeah," Kate nodded. "You should try the strawberry cake and the chocolate cheesecake too."

"Ooh..." Amethyst gulped everything she ate. "W-Well! If you insist so much, I might as well do it... hmph."

She was still acting a little prideful, but the girls didn’t mind that, accepting her by their side, as they shared food with her, which Amethyst happily tried one by one, making weird faces every time she tasted something new and surprising to her.

"She sure makes a lot of funny faces..." Miranda said.

"I guess you’ve tamed the brat, huh?" Yuki smiled. "Well done! Though it took you a long while."

"It wasn’t easy, but I managed," I nodded. "I would have never managed if it wasn’t for everything I’ve learned as a father though. It really makes you wiser, huh?"

"Hahah! I wouldn’t go as far as saying you’re wiser now..." Yuki laughed at me.

"Hey!" I groaned. "Well, let’s just eat, shall we? I’m starving myself! Let’s eat to our heart’s content!"

And so, dinner started, and as a family primarily made of dragons, we ate a lot, our stomachs were very huge and therefore could store lots of food and calories as we digested them.

Amethyst was quite shy at the beginning but then she started eating huge pieces of grilled meat, potatoes, rice, noodles, and more. She tried out and tasted almost every new plate and liked the majority, although she disliked vegetable salad.
