Entering Apocalypse in Easy-Mode-Chapter 515: Premature Pain
Chapter 515: Premature Pain
The void above the world erupted.
Three forces lunged at once. Zeus with his wrath, Hades cloaked in burning shadows, and Michael, Archangel of Judgment, with his radiant blade drawn in silence.
Clyde met them head-on without hesitation.
His eyes were still pitch black and the black mist that curled around him flared outward like wings.
The moment their powers collided, the sky and the flpatong landmass around them cracked.
Zeus land his hit first.
A bolt of lightning the size of a mountain lance tore down from his hand. Splitting the air with a roar.
BOOM!!!
It crashed into Clyde. But Dusksorrow sword absorbed it, black and crimson flaring against white-blue light.
Clyde then shot forward.
He slashed upward, sending Zeus reeling back in midair. The thunder around him shattering like glass.
But then Hades came at him next.
Chains of burning darkness snapped from every direction.
They coiled through the air like snakes. Hades emerged from the shadows. His armor gleaming with more power of the Underworld.
Clyde move and dodge through the storm of chains and using Elderglass sword to slice through the first few. But they kept coming and regenerating then multiplying even after they were slashed. The chains then start to wrapped around his limbs and throat.
And then Michael descended.
He moved in silence but the weight of his presence felt heavy. His blade came down in a arc of silver and Clyde raised both swords in time to block it.
CLANG!
The impact ruptured the air. Silver lights and black mist exploded in every direction.
The world around them shook from the echoes.
Michael didn’t stop.
Attack after attack fell with precision and pushing Clyde further back through the void.
His Elderglass sword met Michael’s sword again and again, sparks flying as black mist clashed with searing light or the Archangel’s power.
Zeus reentered the fray next when he saw the opportunity, lightning dancing across his form. He hurled a ball of pure thunder into Clyde’s body from the side.
The ball of thunder hit Clyde’s body and he was flung across the sky. But he also managed to hurled Dusksorrow sword at Hades.
The blade whirled and slamming into one of the flaming chains.
It shattered them and keep going until it reach Hades and that forced him to teleport backward.
Clyde hit a floating shard of land and shattered it beneath his feet as he stopped himself. Then he launched upward again without pause.
He was faster now and became a blur of black mist.
He reappeared behind Michael so suddenly that the Archangel didn’t have time to turn. Clyde managed to cutting deep across his back.
Michael grimaced but countered instantly. He twisting midair and attacking Clyde in the ribs.
Blood sprayed from Clyde but he didn’t slow one bit. His fury only deepened.
Zeus descended again, his hammer of thunder forming in his hands.
Clyde parried with Elderglass sword. Their weapons colliding and sending arcs of uncontrolled lightning and black mist into the air around them.
Then Hades emerged behind Clyde, tendrils of shadows shot through space to stab him.
"HAAAA!!!"
Clyde roared and erupted with a pulse of dark mist that shredded the tendrils apart.
He turned and stabbed forward, but Michael’s blade shot between them and clashed with Elderglass again.
The four of them now spiraled into a chaotic storm.
Zeus’ thunder, Hades’ Underworld shadows and chains, Michael’s light, fight againts Clyde’s mist and fury.
Each of those clash of attack carved rifts in the air. Blades of pure force rippled out, tearing into the void and cracking distant landmasses.
But slowly, Clyde began to falter under such pressure.
His black mist flickered. The wounds on his side and arm were deep. He gritted his teeth and stood his ground.
Yet for every inch they pushed him, he pushed back.
Michael was flung backward once with a heavy slash to the shoulder.
Zeus lost grip of his thunderbolt for a breath as Clyde’s mist drowned his vision.
Hades’ chains were torn again and again, forcing him to reform them with growing strain.
None of them had ever fought something like this. A wielding black mist that devoured their power.
And Clyde, even though starting to be battered, would not fall.
The sky itself had become a battleground of legend. Like aan endless storm with Clyde at its center.
They broke apart after the last violent clash. Forced to disengage by the sheer force of their own momentum.
Clyde hovered in the ruined sky, his breath sharp, his black mist pulsing slowly like a wounded heart.
Across from him, Zeus, Hades, and Michael floated, separated by only a few dozen meters. Each of them bore the marks of the brutal exchange.
Zeus’s robes were torn and scorched, his arm trembling slightly as he steadied his grip on the thunderbolt in his hand.
The lightning crackling around him flickered weakly.
Hades was breathing hard, the tendrils of shadow around him twitching, fraying at the edges.
His armor was cracked across the chest where Clyde’s mist had burned through. Blood and smoke leaked from his mouth.
Michael kept his wings spread wide but his sword arm now hung lower. His shoulder bled and a deep gashes burned along his side where the Elderglass sword had stab him.
His face was calm but behind his eyes was the storm of doubt.
Clyde stood alone.
His body shook faintly no from the pain. The reshaping process that had been stopped prematurely earlier now screamed through his veins again.
The black mist wrapped tighter around his limbs, trying to compensate for a body that not yet complete.
His ribs throbbed. His skin split.
He gritted his teeth.
"Not yet. I’m not done yet!"
Even now, when his body screamed to stop, Clyde refused to fall.
The rage was still alive. The sorrow still there. The promise to avenge Asqa had not yet been fulfilled.
The sky above shimmered again.
Thousands of presences stirred.
The Archangels, Celestials, and Demon Kings had watched the battle unfold. Then they saw Clyde falter.
They began to move.
Michael turned his head toward the sky to his army.
"Now," he commanded. "All forces attack!"
Zeus and Hades also calling their armies.
Armies descended like falling stars. War chants filled the void as the united legions of realms converged on one single man.
Clyde looked up at them all. freёnovelkiss-com
His eyes narrowed. His grip on Elderglass and Dusksorrow tightened.
He would fight. He would kill them all.
