The year 2025 is the year he died in the previous world and was reincarnated in the body of New Arthur in the year 2032. That’s a 7-year gap, so if the history of both worlds is about the same—other than the fact that the gender morality of the world is reversed, which makes the most famous people’s genders reversed—doesn’t that mean the history is almost the same? Standing at the fifth bookshelf, Arthur one by one took out the books from the History of Earth section and checked the table of contents of each one to see more differences between both worlds.

As he expected, both Earths are slightly different, but there still has to be some connection between them.

He didn’t go into much detail, as they are not important to him now. However, unfortunately, he wasn’t able to find anything between the years 2025 and 2032. It was just his curiosity, but he did feel that this library was too small.

There are only seven books on the history of Earth, which tells him that both Earths are slightly different but could be connected in some way, or it is just a coincidence that major historical events do seem identical but with the genders of the people reversed.

Arthur decided to think about what he should read now. It has been only an hour, so he still has four hours left.

He looked at the tags once again and muttered.

"Elven History, Elven Law and Power, Travel and Culture, or lastly Elven Language."

After a few seconds of thought, he decided to go with Elven Law and Power.

He picked up the first book in the row. There are not many books on the shelf, especially in this section—there are only four books.

He took all four books and then went back to his seat and started reading the first one. Only after reading the first passage of the book did he almost understand many things in that one passage.

"Laws are nothing but chains forged by the powerful to bind the weak. Before absolute power, no rule or law held sway. On the planet Eleruth, the elves reign supreme, for their queen’s word is law. Tread carefully—your actions will not go unnoticed."

’The first and most important thing I understood in the passage was that in this magical world, being powerful is very important. Otherwise, sooner or later, you will be trampled upon. I can’t deny that even in the previous world, these things were almost the same, but it wasn’t as open as here’.

’And the planet Eleruth—it seems to be the name of the planet where the Elves come from. In the future, I would like to visit it, but first I have to become powerful.’

"Everything comes to me when I become powerful. Otherwise, I can’t do anything," Arthur muttered.

He got engrossed in this book and kept reading and reading until it was finally over.

There was a lot of new information he had learned from this book.

’There is a planet, Eleruth, which is the home planet of the Elves like Ivy, Fira, Liora, and Zyra—all of them come from there. On the planet Eleruth, the most powerful entity is the Elven Queen, who rules over the planet’.

’I wonder how powerful one must be to rule a freaking planet. When Ivy gave me a shock because of how unfathomable she appeared, I knew she didn’t even use any spell on me and crushed me just by using her mana alone. So I can’t even imagine how powerful the Queen must be’.

’I would hopefully like to meet her one day.’

He recalled the information once again.

’But other than the Elven Queen, who is the symbol of absolute power on planet Eleruth—or the Great Elven Empire, as the Elves usually call themselves when asked—there are other powerful individuals also present who command almost absolute power, just below the Queen.’

’There are nine major types of elves representing each main clan. There are many branches, but the main branch holds the most power and authority.’

1. High Elves (Sun Elves)

2. Star Elves (Celestial Elves)

3. Moon Elves (Silver Elves)

4. Sun Elves (Gold Elves)

5. Dark Elves (Drow)

6. Wood Elves (Sylvan Elves)

7. Sea Elves (Aquatic Elves)

8. Wild Elves (Green Elves)

9. Shadow Elves (Gray Elves)

Almost all these types of elves have clans that rule over a part of the territory in the Elven Empire, ruled over by a matriarch of their own. They hold the most power in the Elven Empire after the queen. They are all loyal subjects of the Queen.’

’All in all, this book contained that information, with some facts about each clan and a lot of praise for the Elven Empire and the Queen.’

He is quite satisfied with the information he has gotten from this book.

There is still about one and a half hours left before he has to leave. He would have continued with the second part of this same book. However, the first passage of the book clicked with him, so he decided to try to solve the riddle in the meantime, and hopefully, he would get somewhere.

’I am not a fan of riddles—even in the games I usually played in the previous world, which is why, only after taking a look for the first time, I had felt such disappointment.’

He thought of the status screen in his mind as the red transparent screen appeared in front of him.
