Elder Kinston's Exclusive Sweet Wife-Chapter 925 - 962: Speculation
Alice Conley was also pondering internally, but didn’t want to say anything in front of her friend, so she said, "Mabel, why not have Dorian drive you back to Kyle’s place first?"
"No need." Mabel Quinn shook her head, "I want to wander around nearby for a bit and buy some groceries on my way back."
"What? You’re still cooking for yourself? There should be a chef at Kyle’s place, right?" Alice said.
"There is a chef, but I guess I’m just used to cooking for myself. If I have free time, I still like to cook," Mabel said.
"Hmm, alright then." Alice didn’t press further.
After Mabel left, Dorian Howards directly instructed the driver to take Alice’s two cousins home before taking Alice to his car.
As soon as they got in the car, Alice couldn’t help but say, "What do you think Kyle Kinston means by this? Wasn’t he supposed to be here to accompany Mabel to try on dresses? How come he left with just a few words from Francine?"
Regarding this, Dorian was also quite puzzled. Given Kyle’s usual character, there’s no way he would pay attention to anything Francine says unless it’s something really important to him.
But... what could Francine have that’s important to Kyle?
Dorian thought about it repeatedly but still couldn’t figure it out. It seemed that he would have to find out later. "Well, maybe there’s really something urgent."
Alice pursed her lips, "Do you think Kyle really has no feelings for your cousin? Hopefully, her meddling doesn’t ruin his relationship with Mabel just when it was getting back on track."
"None." Dorian sighed and said, "I can guarantee, Kyle absolutely doesn’t have any romantic feelings for Francine. Like I said, maybe the only person Kyle will love in this life is Mabel Quinn."
"How can you be so sure?" Alice asked skeptically.
"Anyway, that’s how sure I am. If Kyle were ever to fall in love with another woman in this life, you can kick me around like a ball," Dorian said.
"Don’t say such unlucky things, phew, phew!" Alice rolled her eyes and said.
"Alright, alright, it was my mistake to say that." Dorian said, "So, Princess, can we head back now?"
"Fine, let’s head back." Alice nodded, "Oh yeah, when you have drinks with my dad later tonight, just drink a little less."
"Okay."
"And when you play chess with my dad, don’t always let him win. You have no idea how he keeps boasting about his excellent chess skills at home lately." She was about to lose patience with her father’s bragging.
"Okay."
"Oh, and my mom asked if we should set up an extra bed in my room for you to sleep on. Since you’ve been hanging around at my place all the time, and my bed isn’t big, I’m afraid squeezing onto one bed might press on the baby in my belly."
"Uh, then set up a bed."
"By the way, do you think we’ll have a boy or a girl? If it’s a girl, we can dress her up all the time, which seems like fun."
"What if it’s a boy?" he asked.
"Then there won’t be as much fun in dressing up. If worse comes to worst, we’ll just dress him as a girl."
"..." Alright, he mentally mourned for the possible future son. If Alice really planned to dress up their son as a girl, he wasn’t sure whether he would side with his son to give him a voice, or side with his wife to pass her hairpins and dresses.
