Elder Kinston's Exclusive Sweet Wife-Chapter 902 - 938: A Misunderstanding That Made Him Spit Blood
"Jacob? You call him Jacob?" Dorian immediately got jealous again.
"Uh, is there something wrong?" She blinked her innocent eyes.
Of course, there was something wrong. "Alice Conley, from now on, you’re not allowed to call other men so intimately. Besides, isn’t he one of your blind date candidates? Don’t you know that smiling at others like that can easily cause them to have improper thoughts?"
Alice’s face turned red suddenly, then she glanced awkwardly at Jacob Fletcher beside her, and helplessly at Dorian. Oh, come on! He really overestimated her, didn’t he? Did he think that just by smiling, others would immediately fall for her? She wasn’t some great beauty.
"Dorian, it’s not what you think. Jacob and I are just friends..." Basically, she considered Jacob Fletcher and Daxton as her best friends.
"Who turns their blind date into friends?" Dorian said.
Um... She did! Alice was about to explain when another voice chimed in, "Sorry, it seems Mr. Howards you misunderstood. Although Alice is indeed very adorable, the person my friend likes should be me."
Daxton, at some point, had come over, hooking an arm around Jacob Fletcher’s shoulders, smiling as he spoke to Dorian, and then he looked at Jacob next to him, "You don’t mind me saying it, do you?"
"Not at all, since he’s Alice’s future husband, it’s better he knows, to avoid more misunderstandings." Jacob smiled.
Dorian was rarely shocked by anything. If it were two ordinary men saying they were a couple in front of him, he would hardly be surprised because it was just a matter of preference for the same or opposite sex. But the issue at hand was that these two men, once subconsciously seen as love rivals, were actually in love with each other, making Dorian feel like he was about to cough up blood.
What a ridiculous turn of events! He spent a whole day being jealous, only to find out the truth was like this! Thinking back to how he had threatened Daxton before, even Dorian, with his normally strong heart, felt a bit embarrassed.
So, five minutes later, when the four sat back at the table, there was a moment of staring at each other until Alice cleared her throat to explain, "It was just a misunderstanding. I think my fiancé won’t have any more misunderstandings in the future."
"But such misunderstandings can actually be quite fun," Daxton laughed.
Dorian felt the urge to cough up blood surge again – fun, his foot. And this girl Alice, when they returned to the restaurant, he had quietly asked her why she hadn’t told him earlier.
Her response? She self-righteously said, "That’s their privacy! How could I just tell you?"
But the problem was, he was feeling unnecessary jealousy! Dorian decided in his heart that when they got home, he’d definitely "discipline" Alice well, so she wouldn’t pull such stunts again.
"Okay, Mr. Howards, we should’ve explained earlier. It’s really our fault for causing the misunderstanding between you and Alice. But anyway, congratulations on becoming Alice’s future husband, and I hope you and Alice will be happy." Jacob said.
