Elder Kinston's Exclusive Sweet Wife-Chapter 821 - 856
Mabel Quinn figured that it might be related to Kyle Kinston living here.
"You... you go ahead and sleep first, I still have some writing to do. The script draft is due to be handed to Kuan in a couple of days," she said, gently pushing him, signaling him to let go.
"But I’d rather sleep with you," he whispered, his alluring gaze accompanied by a charming smile, truly leaving one entranced.
And Mabel was the one who was utterly and completely mesmerized.
"But..." she still struggled.
His lips fell upon hers, and once again, she was lost in his kiss...

As it turned out, beauty indeed easily leads to delays. A night of indulgence resulted in a day of frantic typing and writing.
"Didn’t you say you could finish the ending part last night?" Alice Conley leaned over and asked, "Stuck with an inspiration block?"
Mabel Quinn felt a bit embarrassed, as it was someone who disrupted her yesterday.
"Anyway, it’ll be finished in a while. You take a look then, and if there are no issues, we can probably hand it to Kuan tomorrow or the day after," she said.
"Okay," Alice replied.
"What new project are you two writing? Do you really think your script, by you little-known writers, will catch the eye of any film company?" Indigo Quigley suddenly sneered from the side.
"Well, we do have to rely on our talent, unlike some people who don’t need to bother since they have a father willing to throw money to make TV dramas," Alice retorted, unwilling to let Indigo gain the upper hand in the argument.
Indigo, thick-skinned as ever, was undeterred. "If you have the ability, find yourself such fathers too. Pity, not only lack money at home, but even the relationships with wealthy men that were hard to build ended up breaking down."
"You..." Alice was about to say something, but Mabel pulled her friend back and then said to Indigo, "Screenwriting is not as easy as you think. Right now, your TV series has your dad investing, but in the future? Will every script you write need your dad to fund it? If you lack talent, even with money spent, if the audience doesn’t buy it, it’s still useless."
Indigo’s face turned bright red. "Mabel Quinn, do you mean that only you guys can write good scripts?"
"I never said that; I just mean, Indigo, do you really think your original work deserves to be adapted into a TV series?" Mabel asked in return. Kuan had previously allowed them to make broad amendments to the original plot because the original work was quite bad. Later, after she and Alice withdrew, she learned from Kuan that Indigo was unhappy with too many changes to the original and demanded to stick to it.
After a few fruitless discussions with Indigo, Kuan had no choice but to proceed with her direction since Indigo’s father was the investor.
And the outcome was that the script was actually terrible, which made it predictable what kind of TV series would be the result of such a script.
A good script plays a huge role in a TV series’s success or failure.
Unfortunately, Indigo simply couldn’t heed others’ advice.
Indigo gritted her teeth in resentment. Did Mabel Quinn really think she could trample over her with this new project? Don’t even think about it!
She would make Mabel experience what it’s like when great hope leads to greater disappointment!
