— Dimensional Rift.
Hanging Gardens of Babylon —
"Why... did so many people suddenly appear here?"
Ravel looked around at the cultists from the Tamamo-no-Mae cult, all unconscious within the barrier, like broken puppets carelessly tossed aside.
Her elegant brow furrowed slightly, reflecting her confusion.
"Aiden-sama..." Her voice, soft yet firm, called out to him as her blue eyes searched for an explanation.
"Don't worry about this... They're people causing trouble. I'll take care of them later," Aiden replied calmly.
His gaze slid over the terrorists who had been causing so many problems.
There was everything: devils, fallen angels, youkai, humans... of various ages and power levels.
His lips curled slightly into a smile.
It was normal.
In the end, these terrorists... or rather, their souls, were incredibly valuable for his study of the [Soul Separation Spell: Harmonious Division].
And now, his girls had gifted him all those souls.
They were always so considerate...
Too much, in fact.
He wondered what they were doing at that very moment.
If they were already helping the Youkai Faction.
He wasn't worried about them getting hurt or anything like that.
He trusted them.
They had already told him everything they'd done and how they planned to raid the hideout of the Tamamo-no-Mae cult, since they already had its exact location.
That cult was pretty screwed.
They had no idea that some people stronger than a Maou were on their way to cause them trouble.
Aiden wondered what that so-called Kurotama, the cult leader, would do when he found out.
Without further ado, he took Ravel for a walk through the Hanging Gardens of Babylon.
Sitting calmly atop the girl's head was the small Salamander.
It had already been given as a wedding gift.
Now it just needed to be tested.
Salamander: "....."

Ravel was quite surprised by this entire area located within the Dimensional Rift.
On one hand, because she had never been here before.
On the other, because Aiden had the power to build and maintain a 40-square-kilometer zone floating in this place.
As they walked hand in hand, she glanced at him.
She felt the warmth of his palm against hers, and for a moment, she got lost in her thoughts.
In the distance, a crystalline tree caught her attention.
Its beautiful blue glow hypnotized her, sparking her curiosity.
"Aiden-sama... is that tree...? I-If I may ask, of course."
She knew Aiden had secrets, and although he had already shared quite a few about himself, she wouldn't force him to say more.
Anyway, sooner or later she'd find out.
After all, he had already touched her entire body.
He would have to marry her.
If not...
Ravel: "....."
Aiden felt a chill.
Again...
He was about to answer Ravel's question about that tree, the [King's Monument], but when he saw her expression—her darkened eyes and "smile"—he was left speechless.
Strangely enough, Aiden liked that expression.
He didn't know why.
Mukuro, Origami, and Leen also made that face sometimes... though not so much anymore.
Leen did it the most, but after bringing her from Elicia to Draconic Deus, she had calmed down.
Especially after having sex, at which point she stopped being a yandere and relaxed.
But Ravel... Ravel still made that expression.
And Aiden liked it.
Maybe he liked the crazies.
But setting aside that stupid monologue...
/Cough!/
"That tree...?" Aiden furrowed his brow slightly, showing a somewhat uncomfortable expression.
After all, that tree was his own version of the devils' [King's Monument], which he had built after stealing the devils' technology.
And Ravel was a noble.
She looked at him curiously.
"If you don't want to tell me, it's fine. Everyone has their secrets, and I'm not so rude as to force you to reveal them. Of course I'm curious, but it's not like I'm going to die over it, you know? So relax, don't make that uncomfortable face."
Ravel let out a soft laugh, with a hint of amusement.
"It's not that I don't want to tell you..." Aiden twisted his lips.
"That tree... is a version of the [King's Monument] from the Underworld."
Aiden had no problem telling her the truth.
After all, she was already his woman.
It's just that... well, he stole that technology.
Ahem.
Ravel lost her balance for a moment, recovering awkwardly.
"Eh...? What did you say...?" she murmured, her eyes wide and her face completely bewildered.
"Ahem... Such interesting technology... I couldn't help but take it."
/Cough!/
Aiden looked away, feeling a pang of embarrassment.
Ravel looked at him, impressed, but after thinking it over, it didn't seem all that surprising.
After all, Aiden had already told her he could build [Sacred Gears] on the level of a [Longinus], and by comparison, copying the [King's Monument] didn't seem like a big deal.
The [Sacred Gears] created by the God of the Bible were more complex.
Even so, she couldn't help but wonder why Aiden—someone so powerful he could face Great Red—was interested in the [King's Monument], and consequently, in the [Evil Pieces].
Ravel: "....."
Either way, she was "glad" that it was Aiden who had stolen/copied the devil's technology.
If it had been someone else, it would've been a huge problem for devils to have their own technology used... against them.

— Yomi —
Absolute darkness.
That's the only thing one can "see" in this dimension: the Shinto underworld where the mother of Japanese mythology was sealed.
A constant, grayish mist floats at ground level, like a mix of spiritual vapor and drifting ash.
There is no sun or moon, though she was thankful for their absence, as they reminded her of her treacherous children, who left her here like dogs obeying their father's orders, without a single thought for her.
Only a faint and sickly glow seems to emanate from the earth itself.
The ground is black, cracked, and cursed, resembling rotting obsidian or corrupted volcanic rock.
At times, it seems to be alive, as if it pulses with the steps of the living.
She found her domain quite unpleasant... but she got used to it.
The air smells of ancient death, dampness, and sulfur.
Each breath carries a sense of spiritual decay.
She felt uncomfortable at first, but it's been 46,767 years since she arrived here, so it's obvious her divine body "evolved" and adapted to this place.
Here, in this realm, broken towers could also be seen, endless halls made of blackened stone, and portals covered in ancient seals.
Pillars with broken divine inscriptions, carved in archaic kanji, seal the passages to the core of Yomi.
Bronze doors, rusted by time and curse, separate the different levels of the underworld.
In the deepest levels, the metal seems to moan with the wails of trapped souls.
Deformed specters wander aimlessly: shadows of forgotten humans, fallen youkai, and corrupted kami.
In the "deepest" level of Yomi, this is where Izanagi, after Izanami died giving birth to Kagutsuchi (the God of Fire), deepened all levels of the underworld to save his wife.
But when Izanagi arrived, Izanami had already eaten the food of the underworld and could no longer return to the land of the living, for it would be disastrous.
Unlike other underworlds like Hades', the Yomi that Izanami now "conquered" is CORRUPTED and disastrous for both the living and the Shinto pantheon.
Therefore, Izanagi, "afraid," could only seal Izanami, who—upon seeing her husband reject her for being "evil" and "corrupted"—cursed him.
Palace of Eternal Putrefaction.
The place where Izanami has lived ever since.
She sat on a throne made purely of shadows.
Even though she was "evil" and "corrupted," her beauty had not changed.
She had black hair, with a prominent red streak falling over her face.
Her hair was short and wavy, with two small white horns protruding from her head, giving her a demonic air.
She didn't have them before, but after spending so long in Yomi, her body changed.
Her eyes are red, matching the rest of her color palette, and her expression is a calm smile, though slightly unsettling.
She wears a modern kimono in black, red, and white: the outer layer is black with subtle details, the inner layer is vibrant red, and the white trim provides contrast.
The upper part of the dress has a deep neckline with black lace, and a red ribbon at her neck that looks like it's coming undone.

She, in short, was the embodiment of beauty—a corrupted, inhuman beauty, like that of a poisonous flower blooming on a forgotten grave.
"...Hmmm..."
She played with a soul between her pale fingers, as if caressing a dying butterfly.
The dark, dim, flickering flame glowed with a persistent spark at its core... a stubborn trace of hope.
"Still resisting...?" Izanami murmured, her voice laced with disdain and ancient melancholy.
"One thousand and thirteen years defying corruption... Such admirable stubbornness. But tell me... what for? The end will not change."
Her eyes, bottomless abysses, narrowed with a chilling smile.
"Wouldn't it be easier to surrender and become my pawn...? Abe-no-Seimei... What a troublesome child. Such bad luck you have."
She leaned in a bit more, her voice barely a poisonous whisper.
"When I finally break free from this confinement... wouldn't you want to help me ravage this land you love so much? No... of course not. You're a disobedient child."
She spoke to the soul.
Abe-no-Seimei: "....."
"In the end... you'll end up being mine. Just another pawn on my board," she murmured with poisonous softness, the shadow of a smile curving her lips.
"Just like your beloved 'friend' from the Heian period..."
Her gaze drifted for a moment, recalling the soul that had already succumbed to her will: Ashiya Douman, Abe-no-Seimei's eternal rival.
Although she was imprisoned during that period, reading the souls that arrive here is easy for her as the Goddess of Death.
Therefore, she was familiar with the historical events that occurred.
After all, people die every day.
Some souls reach her "home," so she knows most things a person would know.
Sometimes, a supernatural being or two shows up, so she also has information about that side of the world.
After all, even though Izanagi sealed her and divided all of Yomi among the Shinigami, he couldn't stop some souls from reaching her.
She also had a few eyes outside of Yomi.
Tamamo-no-Mae was one of those eyes, and the one she was most able to influence thanks to the Kegare.
But she was already dead.
She regretted it, because she no longer possessed Tamamo-no-Mae's soul; it was in another level of Yomi.
At least she managed to get her hands on interesting souls from historical Japanese figures.
She wanted more pawns, but sealed in the deepest level of Yomi, there was little she could do.
It was already a miracle that she managed to gather so many pawns and corrupt them.
Even if she didn't have many noteworthy pawns, she did have plenty of low-level ones.
She would simply unleash all the power she had when she got out of here.
And if given the time, she would cause trouble for Takamagahara.
