Chapter 50 - Random Chapter or Omake: novelbuddy.cσ๓
After dealing with Sylvia and retrieving artifacts in the Crimson Demon village, Sanguinius's clone noticed something.
"There's a stream..."
On the holographic video, there was a clone wearing a mask in trouble.
Normally, it was his duty to go help him but...
"Excuse me, Mr. Sanguinius, are you listening to me?" said a girl from the Crimson Demon clan, who had proclaimed herself the most voluptuous in the village.
A bold claim, which is the norm in their clan during first greetings.
However, Sanguinius found her words weren't exaggerated.
'Honestly, she's got two big good arguments'
"Sorry Arue, I had two big "inspirations" and got distracted," he said, using the Acting skill.

Thanks to his poker face similar to that of his priest in his past life, who listened to his dark confessions.
Arue didn't notice his slip-up.
"Is it related to the novel mentioned at school?"
After settling Sylvia's case, Sanguinius went to explore the Crimson Demon clan village looking for useful things.
Thanks to this initiative, he was able to get his hands on the Railgun and Mage-Killer.
Normally, he should have left.
But he was curious about Megumin's school and ended up meeting Arue.
The young girl was a budding novelist and Sanguinius wanted to visit, so he preferred the company of someone with a common interest.
Unfortunately, she has a serious flaw similar to Darkness.
'Despite her body being in my secret top 5, she has a personality... severely chūnibyō even by her race's standards'
Still, he tolerated this personality trait.
He remembered an old proverb that managed to persuade his logic to give way to his instinct.
'A beggar demands nothing, but he receives'
Who was he to refuse the dish... cough, Arue's goodwill?
"Exactly, I think Aldnoah Zero's ending is terrible... maybe we should make the Martian win," he said honestly.
Sanguinius had already figured out the Crimson Demon in front of him's love for romance stories.
So he told her about one of the worst ones he knew.
Sure, Aldnoah Zero is less tragic than Clannad: After Story.
But Sanguinius wasn't a monster, to write that story and sell it in this world.
He wasn't going to break their hearts for easily earned money.
"Hmm... why not a love suicide? That would be original, right?"
Sanguinius approved of the idea.
Thus, the duo arrived at the last tourist attraction in the Crimson Demon village that Sanguinius hadn't seen yet.
"Here's the most appreciated attraction"
In front of the duo stands a telescope pointed toward the Demon King's territory.
Sanguinius found this strange, but after Arue's detailed explanation of its usefulness...
Sanguinius's clone paid the villager in charge of the object to use it.
'This thing really shows the Demon King's daughter's apartments!!'
Unfortunately for the clone, he saw nothing interesting except a beautiful woman already finishing getting dressed.
As he cursed his low luck in his stats.
He observed a terrifying explosion that engulfed the woman despite her hasty preparations for some reason.
At first, he didn't understand the chaotic situation before his eyes.
But thanks to the chat group, or precisely the stream, he finally grasped the overall situation.
"Damn, the original ruined my pleasure..."
Even though his words sound like a complaint, he has no anger or resentment.
The original's actions are surely justifiable, because he is a more complete and accomplished version of himself.
His only dissatisfaction is directed toward the castle, which didn't hold long enough for his taste.
...
Elsewhere, there was a clone of Sanguinius.
He had no real role other than accomplishing manual work, but that was no longer enough for him.
It's not that he doesn't understand the importance of getting the slums back in working order for "him."
However, he considers his usefulness to be elsewhere.
Finally, he accepted a quest to exterminate a golem spotted near Axel.
No adventurer had accepted the quest and it had started gathering dust on the request board, until the clone's arrival.
"I'm just an ephemeral existence, so might as well shine a little... right?"
It was with this vision that he found himself facing the immense robot supposed to be a golem.
Spark.
The Holy Power and the robot's fist collided repeatedly, but the clone was easily pushed back.
Yet he didn't give up.
He continued to struggle against the machine's force.
During the exchange, the clone had an illumination.
'Why struggle against its force? I'm not with my original body and I don't have much mana or Holy Power.'
Following this idea, he deflected the golem's attack at the last second.
Taking advantage of the robot's imbalance, the clone began chanting an intermediate spell.
He wasn't born to fight.
He wasn't born powerful.
He wasn't meant to lead others.
His destiny was to be a worker in a slum, until the end of his existence... To finally be absorbed by "their whole."
'Yet... I-I want to dream... just a little more.'
A selfish idea, but clearly sanguinius.
"Lightning!!" he said, after reaching the robot's head.
A violent electrical energy was poured out by the clone, which destroyed the machine from the inside.
After this act, the robot collapsed.
Only the clone remained.
As he observed the slightly dark prairie of Axel:
"...yes, I want to live to the fullest"
After a brief pause, he entered the dungeon reported to the adventurers' guild.
'This isn't a dungeon, but a laboratory.'
All the information provided by the adventurers' guild was false, but that wasn't a problem from the clone's point of view.
His instinct pushed him to search the area, because mention was made of an unexplored dungeon in the guild's report and quest.
Thus, this laboratory hasn't yet suffered pillaging.
"The guild had very erroneous information *sigh*."
It took him a few dozen minutes, but he came across a journal.
Sanguinius supposed it belonged to the owner of this place.
After a quick read, he confirmed the veracity of his speculations.
"So this is where the Destroyer's creator slowly fell into madness"
According to the journal in his hands, a Japanese person like Kazuma created this place and the Destroyer thanks to a cheat power granted by Aqua.
The clone looked at the hair in the man's journal, who had caused enormous problems to this universe before finally assimilating it with Sylvia's power.
He wasn't sure he could obtain the lazy scientist's power with just this amount of his body.
But he wanted to try.
"Anyway, I've got nothing to lose and I never had anything to lose."
