Dungeon Raider System-Chapter 561: A steep price
"Stupid, idiot, womanizer, I hate him!" Medusa muffled her angry screams in the comfy pillow softly kicking the mattress with restrained fury to avoid breaking the bed. She knew Uriel's hand was forced, she also knew that Luna's safety depended on him agreeing to whatever condition Bella asked of him, but nothing she could think of was enough to soothe the anger raging within her heart.
Just when she was starting to make peace with the idea of letting go of him, just when Medusa was finally reaching the point where she could endure thinking of Uriel being with another woman, things moved too fast for her comfort and now she could do nothing to prevent whatever was going on beneath her.
She didn't care about hybrids, witches or whatever. Even if what Alessandro told her was true and her grandfather was actually a hybrid, that didn't necessarily mean that she too was one. As they explained it, even when two hybrids had a child it didn't always result in a hybrid baby.
This, along with her not being able to shift into any sort of creature was proof enough for her that she wasn't a hybrid.
The only thing Medusa cared about now was of the things Uriel was probably doing with Bella Eurus in the room beneath hers. For the first time since her other senses became sharper, Medusa considered them more of a curse than a blessing as she could clearly listen to the moaning sounds that came from downstairs no matter how hard she tried not to.
An hour before Medusa's venting episode, Uriel found himself in a tough situation in the aforementioned room directly beneath the guestroom assigned to Medusa.
"Hey, Bella, it's me." Uriel knocked on the door and a very disheveled girl opened the wooden door to a slit.
"What do you want?" She sniffled, trying to hide her ruined make up and her disgraceful appearance.
"What you ask of me is completely unreasonable and I'm not willing to do it." Uriel declared with a severe expression.
"And you came here just to jab your finger in the wound?" She asked before attempting to close the door, which Uriel stopped by placing his foot down.
"No, I'm here because I'm willing to compromise. May I come in?"
Bella opened the door and let Uriel in. The room was nicely decorated, especially considering it was part of a stone brick mansion on top of a floating island inside a dungeon. There were several ornaments and stuffed animals that drew Uriel's attention, but among them one stood out.
It was a small figurine carved in a piece of wood depicting a slender young man who held a striking resemblance to the face Uriel saw each morning in the mirror.
"Don't look!" She snatched it from Uriel's hand and hid it beneath the bed sheets before he could react.
"Your brother explained your case to me and, well... you don't even know if I can even touch you like you seem to think, so... we can put it to the test if you'd like." Uriel scratched his cheek as if to create an excuse for their redness.
"That's not enough. What if it does work, then what? I'll just go on with my life knowing that no one will ever touch me again."
"I don't get it, where do you get all this stuff from?" Uriel knitted his brows trying not to sound altered, though he was infuriated for getting involved in that senseless situation.
"It's in our tradition, legend says the first of our people could never be touched. That changed when the hero arrived and he proved his worth to the chief's daughter, managing to ignore the curse that kept her from being touched. After their marriage, she was even able to hold her children in her arms..."
"Oh, oh... I've heard that one before," The story she mentioned was exactly the same as that of the Air spirit people, which finally made sense to her problem and also opened a whole can of worms.
By linking the Air spirit people to the descendants of the original wind element user, Uriel was now able to draw any number of conclusions that could shed light on many of the mysteries that surrounded not only the Alamo dungeon, but maybe even Sam's motives. This also made Uriel realize that if before he wanted Bella's help, now he actually needed it.
Uriel felt his knees weak and sat on the bed, with such bad luck that his butt landed right on the spot where Bella hid Uriel's figurine before. He yelped in pain, grabbed it then took a seat again as he chuckled. "you even made my hat. No wonder the maids seemed to recognize me..."
"Don't look at it, it's embarrassing. I just did it because I thought you were dead," Bella went in to snatch the figurine again, only this time she kept her hands on top of Uriel's and tears came out from her light blue eyes as the warmth of his body reached hers.
She didn't part her eyes from Uriel and for the first time, Uriel didn't see the deranged hunter who almost killed him, but a lonely girl desperate for human contact. "This is too cruel... I can't... I can't even..."
Bella crumbled to pieces in front of Uriel who reacted by holding her in his arms, the soft pressure of the embrace only stoking her sorrow which caused her to sob louder and the next words that came out of her mouth left Uriel speechless.
"You are the only one who will ever be able to touch me, If you're not going to give me a child, please... kill me." She sobbed, still looking him in the eye.
Needless to say, Uriel wasn't willing to kill her, but that didn't mean that he was willing to forever miss on the opportunity to go back inside Chichén Itzá either. However, Uriel came up with an alternative idea which he hoped would be enough to convince her.
"What if... we don't have children, but... hear me out. Please, don't cry so loud." Uriel awkwardly patted her in the back, managing to make her cry even louder. "What if I give you a massage?"
"A... massage?" She echoed.
"To be honest, I have no idea how to give one, but maybe it will help?" Before the last sentence was even finished Bella had already stopped crying and a sparkle in her eyes hinted that she was very accepting of the idea.
"Give me five minutes to prepare, then come back in." She pushed Uriel outside the room leaving him in a daze, though upon returning five minutes later he was even more dumbstruck.
"What is all this?"
"Scented candles, rose petals and neutral jojoba oil." She replied.
"I'm not talking about that, I'm asking you why are you lying naked in the bed?"
"Because... you offered me a massage. I may never get another chance and it would be a waste to have clothes on, so please, be very thorough." She said as she lifted herself from the bed, prompting Uriel to cover his eyes right in time before seeing exactly what anyone in his position would have wanted to see.
"Fine, just... put a towel on top of your butt or something." Uriel growled.
"Ready." She said with a giggle.
"Why would you lie!?" Uriel blushed up to his ears, then refused to start until she covered her privates.
Before starting the massage, Uriel rubbed some oil in his hands and took a deep breath. 'It's only a massage, it doesn't have to be awkward.' He thought, but nothing could have prepared him for what followed. Bella let out a deep moan as soon as Uriel's hand touched her back and the slightest motion he made came accompanied by the same reaction, if not more intense.
All sorts of exclamations of extreme pleasure escaped Bella's mouth, no matter how much Uriel insisted that she kept quiet. Though for someone who couldn't even feel the touch of her own clothes it was more than understandable. Despite his inexperience, Uriel seemed to make a good job because after a short while Bella had fallen into a profound sleep to the point where she drooled on her pillow.
"Sometimes I miss having Water warlock nearby..." Uriel hissed as he exited the room where he stumbled upon a maid with beet red cheeks.
"I wasn't peeping, I swear..." She stuttered and retreated.
Uriel paid no mind to her, until he realized that everyone in the mansion acted the same way. They all blushed up and retreated before he could say anything. Even Tate, with his tough appearance and powerful body seemingly shrunk when Uriel passed him and the realization finally hit him.

"I didn't do anything!" He exclaimed as he rushed inside Medusa's room.
"Huh? I know you didn't or else you wouldn't be able to enter that dungeon." Contrary to Uriel's expectation, Medusa was composed and calm which allowed him to finally let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.
"I just wanted to reassure you. She just liked the massage too much."
"Massage, huh... You don't have to give me any explanations, but if you're so good at it I may ask you to give me one at a later time. Did you want anything else? I want to rest before going out." Medusa stretched her limbs and yawned.
"No, nothing... that was... nevermind." Uriel retreated to his room.
"Idiot..." Medusa whispered knowing Uriel wouldn't hear it.
