Dungeon of Lust: Managing Otherworldly Beauties-Chapter 218: The Essence of Greed is Greed
The baffled Greed stared wide-eyed at Vale.
"Umm... What?"
Vale smiled.
"I believe you understood me. But let me make it simple. Answer both. Would you not like to fulfill your carnal desire? And would I not be the perfect person who could make all your worries go away?"
Greed was still in her stupor when Vale added on:
"You are Greed, are you not? If you truly wanted all I have, would this not be included?"
Greed clutched her head and growled:
"Frustrating... this is frustrating."
Vale chuckled.
"What’s so frustrating about it. It was a yes or no question... is there a reason you can’t answer?"
Greed looked down at the [Shard of Truth], which would remain active for at least 8 more minutes.
A time that stalling on one topic for that long would simply give an answer in and of itself.
She had one way out.
Vale knew that much as well.
Greed ground her teeth.
"Valentin, my friend. Are you not getting a bit off topic?"
Vale smiled.
"Am I, though? I’m simply trying to make a deal and lay my cards on the table. After all, stay here for a week more and your deepest desires are yours to fulfil."
Greed averted her gaze slightly.
Vale pressed on.
"Come on, Greed. Did you not come here intent on stealing all I have? Well?"
Greed clenched her fist.
Vale continued:
"Think about it. All the times you’ve desired another and been unable to fulfil it due to your standing. You may never get another chance like this. I may be the only one in the world who could satisfy you."
His brows narrowed as Greed continued to falter.
"As a fellow Vice, I’m the only man who could. In fact, I’ll add in the stipulation that you can call for me at any moment. As long as I am safe and able, I will come to your side."
Vale’s brows fell.
"Well, just say it. Just say you want it. Say you want your dreams to become reality."
Greed shouted:
"Enough!"
A soul-crushing weight fell upon Vale’s shoulder. A yellow aura blazed in Greed’s eyes.
Vale clutched at his chest.
’Perfect!’
He could feel his wants solidifying into needs.
And the want currently at the forefront of his mind was not lust, no. That was a close second.
The one thing he wanted more than anything was to win this negotiation.
Greed’s expression widened.
The tendencies she’d been suppressing had flared uncontrollably. Not only had she been directing them on herself before, but in the moment between activation from suppression, desire flared.
Something Vale knew well, having studied it.
He’d already sent Salome and the others far away to the dungeon’s entrance to protect them.
Greed’s knees shook, and it seemed hard for her to find words.
Vale himself was having difficulty breathing, but he managed.
"Answer my questions."
Greed stood and clutched at her face.
Vale teased.
"Silence any longer, and I’ll take it as a yes to both."
Greed summoned a spear in her hand.
"You...!"
"I believe we both know you can’t. Unless you’re willing to die to kill me. Tell me, is lying to your body worth your life?"
Vale stood up, still shorter than Greed.
"You know you want me. So, why don’t you just say it?"
Vale stepped toward Greed, who took a half-step back.
"I—"
Greed was stronger. Much stronger.
Yet Vale had tricked her. He planted a seed in her head, making her think of something she may never have had since coming to Pandora.
’Lust.’
He made her realize she’d lacked greed in the area. Even using Charm’s minimal effect on her to help with that realization. After her realization, Vale kept feeding into it and let her Aspect do the rest for him. Her Aspect, which had the side effect of amplifying her wants.
It wasn’t his power that had gotten in her head, but her own.
Vale walked up to Greed, who’d stopped backing away. Then, he said:
"Sylvia. How about you try it? See if it’s something you want. Come on."
Vale laughed, then said:
"Well, obviously, it’s something you want. I mean, look at your expression. So then, why resist your own greed?"
Vale lifted his hands, pushed the spear aside, then ran his fingers through her golden hair. Greed’s powers only served to steel his resolve.
All while Greed simply stood with a vexed look on her face.
One so easy to read, it was laughable.
She wanted Vale’s body. She wanted to use it.
She wanted it to be hers.
Greed tried to say something, but choked on her words again.
"I—"
Vale looked into the golden flames within her eyes, then slid his hand around her back and his leg between hers.
It was time to activate the last step of his plan.
"Of course, I’m not a maniac or sadist. If you don’t want my body, then such an outcome is alright. I’d never want to force you or anyone."
The crystal remained dormant.
After all, even if Lust was consuming his mind, that was a creed he’d decided to live by. His actions now betrayed that creed slightly; however, he still intended to honor it.
Greed stared back into Vale’s eyes.
"You really are insolent, Valentin."
Her agitated look shifted into a smile.
"Well, played. Seriously, toats well played. Using my own greed against me and all..." 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮
Greed slid her hand around Vale’s waist and pulled him toward her. Vale’s chest pressed against the fabric of her dress.
"My desires. You have stimulated them, oh yes, you have. My mind is screaming at me to tear your clothes off — mine as well."
Greed ran her hand through Vale’s hair.
"My legs are shaking from how bad I want you. That insatiable lust."
Greed gripped Vale’s hair and pulled his head back.
’Shit!’
Her smile remained, but her eyes grew fierce.
"Never, and I mean never, try this again."
She tilted her spear toward the Dungeon Core.
