Five million years passed. During this time, many changes occurred within the internal universe. The first two hundred planets were separated from the rest, forming a region known in legends as the "Immortal World."

This happened because the rest of the universe was formed from underworld planets inhabited by Yin races that weren’t always of good character. Alm and Bruno didn’t have the time to carefully select who would enter the universe.

However, this turned into an opportunity. In peaceful times, powerful cultivators rarely emerged. So Ruri, Meru, Almin, Lyra, and the hundreds of primordial beasts born from the others focused on working within that universe.

The inhabitants were free to practice evil if they chose, but consequences always came sooner or later. The whale’s people spread techniques and hidden legacies throughout the universe, offering opportunities for those who wanted to walk the righteous path, gain power, and fight against evil.

This idea came from Bruno, inspired by fantasy books he’d read on Earth. Countless Immortal legacies were scattered along with challenges to select worthy successors.

The entire universe developed separately from the Immortal World, spontaneously leading to the rise of numerous sects and powers. Bloody conflicts and evil acts soon emerged everywhere.

However, it didn’t take long for figures driven by revenge and a desire for power to rise. They discovered legacies, cultivated themselves, and crushed the universe’s evildoers with overwhelming force.

When these figures reached their peak, they learned of the Immortal World, which had once been considered only a legend. Then, the two Celestial Fairies would approach and bring them to the whale.

Upon seeing the whale, everyone would fall to their knees in disbelief. He exuded an aura of natural devotion, now embodying the very will of the heavens—the creator and protector of not just that universe but everything.

The first to rise was a human man with an intense bloodthirsty aura. He had killed more than one could count, but only those who deserved it, always with clear limits. Alm and Bruno observed a strange power within him.

Meru explained that he had found something she had hidden: the Dao of the Human God, along with some tips on using swords.

With the powers of the Human God Dao, he later discovered other legacies and absorbed the bloodline of five different primordial beasts. He managed to harmonize them within his body, creating something close to a terrifying Divine Dao.

The whale used points to access records and review the memories of the young man’s entire life. After that, he was accepted and told the frightening truth: the universe where he had lived was just a grain of sand, and they were in the midst of a temporarily paused war.

A few thousand years later, the young man broke through to the immortal realms and was assigned to govern a universe.

Soon after, a female elf appeared, then a demon, followed by a dark elf. Ruri and Meru refined their strategies, generating supreme figures at increasingly shorter intervals.

Sometimes they let malicious figures obtain legacies and cause chaos, but they always monitored everything closely. If those figures crossed certain lines, like committing massacres or extreme atrocities, they were mercilessly eliminated.

However, acts like slavery or causing suffering were allowed since they helped others learn and settle karmic debts.

In the end, every three or four generations, a powerful figure would emerge. Alm and Bruno would analyze them—all of them abnormal and incredibly strong. Satisfied with the results, they replicated the strategies across thousands of universes.

During this time, the people of those universes didn’t work alone. After constructing statues of the whale, Alm and Bruno were able to connect to those places through the will of the heavens and manifest fragments of their celestial souls.

This allowed them to manipulate the universes’ laws, accelerating development and stabilizing their structures. All primitive universes were designed to generate cultivators, but their cultivation realms, laws, and powers became quite distinct from one another.

Although five million years had passed for Alm and Bruno, five billion years had elapsed within the created universes. Many reached the size of a medium universe, and some even became high-level ones.

After the first five million years, the first qualified individuals began to emerge and were brought by the rulers to the whale for approval.

Ten million years later, Alm and Bruno had created over 60,000 universes governed by immortals. They worked tirelessly, but their karma only decreased by 10% during that time.

Even so, the Chaos Tree became significantly stronger, generating a massive amount of Immortal Chaos Fragments. They then summoned all allies to the internal universe, where they would spend hundreds of years cultivating "on vacation."

During this period, Alm and Bruno felt their bodies pulsate with an unparalleled light, and their powers grew explosively, multiplying. This happened three times. They reached the second level of the True God Realm.

All allies advanced to the fourth or fifth level, including the primordial beasts, which, thanks to the whale’s modifications, could now cultivate like the others.

’Ten million years only reduced 10%. We broke through three levels… considering that the required amount increases significantly as we advance, by the end of thirty million years, we probably won’t even reach the fourth level,’ Bruno muttered, a bit disappointed.

Alm huffed. After thirty million years, the direct war against the queen would resume. With these advancements, they could probably fight her for a much longer time, but they were certain it still wouldn’t be enough to kill her.

Alm even questioned whether saving all the universes had been the right choice. If they had let the 40% already awakened perish, the queen wouldn’t have so many servants and would be easier to defeat—she wouldn’t have that resource to heal herself with the crown like before.

The remaining 60% could still be born, and those who died might one day harbor life again. It would have been a logical and safer decision—trading lives to defeat the queen.

After the cultivation period, everyone gathered on planet Gloom. A huge celebration was held. The original 50,000 met the new 10,000 immortals. Together, they laughed and celebrated, with the whale at the center of the party.

Ruri and Meru stood beside him, chatting happily with Rehvka, Corin, Almin, and Lyra. Millions of years had passed; no one was young anymore, but they all looked completely radiant, full of energy and determination.

The conversation revolved around Sohum, who had finally mustered the courage to propose to Meru. However, when he heard he had to ask her father for permission and earn his approval, he froze. Maybe it would take a few more million years for him to gather the courage.

Ruri teased, hinting that the influence of Almin’s blood had made him more cowardly than the God of Forge had been in the past. Still, it was only a matter of time before they united completely—they were immortals and could enjoy everything without haste.

Alm and Bruno didn’t assign Sohum a universe, even though he was an immortal. After all, he had promised the God of Forge that he would always stay by his beloved’s side. Wherever Meru went, he would be nearby.

The laughter and teasing during the celebration made Alm and Bruno reflect.

’They know what we’re fighting for and recognize all our efforts. Not just to make everyone stronger, but because we always choose the path that tries to save everyone — even those who didn’t deserve it and might have joined the queen’s forces, we saved them. They’re proud to be by our side and of the work they do…’ Bruno commented mentally, addressing Alm’s previous thoughts.

After everyone left, more motivated than before, Alm and Bruno turned to the Chaos Tree in their internal universe.

Their control over the power of the Heaven’s Will had increased considerably, and new possibilities began to emerge. With that, they had an idea.

Focusing the tree’s power, they gathered its essence...

"!"

Suddenly, they managed to create a grayish seed. They examined it excitedly, realizing that the entire foundation of the internal universe, along with everything they had created through the Chaos Tree, was concentrated inside it.

However, naturally, it wouldn’t bloom on its own. Someone very talented and experienced would need to absorb and develop it within themselves.

’It’s worth testing.’

With that decision, Alm spoke curtly, and together they created a hundred of these seeds. However, they stopped there. The creation had consumed a lot of power from the Chaos Tree, even causing their cultivation to regress slightly. It was a gamble for the future, and they decided not to repeat the process.

Moving to the underworld, they created a hundred new universes and deliberately didn’t send immortals to inhabit them. They placed these universes far from their own but near the ones that had existed in the past.

They left fragments of their souls to accelerate the development of those places and made the Chaos Tree the foundation for cultivation in each location. Naturally, the cultivators would study the tree to the fullest and become extremely powerful. It was the perfect recipe for generating intense conflicts—and, perhaps, something valuable would emerge from it.

Another ten million years passed. Two-thirds of their allotted time had gone by in the blink of an eye.

The number of universes governed by immortals reached 90,000. Despite the significant growth, Alm and Bruno’s karma was reduced by only another 22%. In total, just 35% of the accumulated karma in the Thousand-Petaled Lotus was eliminated.

After another cultivation session, the whale advanced to the third level of the True God Realm, while their allies reached the seventh level. To Alm and Bruno’s dismay, all one hundred universes created with the seeds bore no fruit.

The cultivators in these places, empowered by the tree, became much stronger than usual, even managing to move between nearby universes. Fortunately, Alm and Bruno had anticipated this and positioned them near small, unguided universes.

Eventually, the inhabitants of these universes started wars against their neighbors, trying to dominate them—until they encountered an impenetrable barrier. Their belligerent attitudes caught the queen’s attention, who sent heroes to deal with and investigate them.

These people were far too abnormal, so the heroes were tasked with uncovering the source of their power. Naturally, when this happened, the whale sent Ruri or Meru to destroy everything before the heroes arrived.

By the time the heroes showed up, the tree was gone, and no traces were left behind. Confused, they meticulously investigated, obliterating the universes entirely in search of answers.

This was the fate of the hundred universes created with the seeds of chaos: too much power in the hands of unscrupulous people resulted in heavy karma that turned against them. Alm and Bruno didn’t bother saving them; they had witnessed the chaos and destruction these cultivators caused in other universes. They were no better than the heroes and deserved their fate.

But as all the allies returned to their universes to spend the last ten million years... Alm and Bruno felt something coming from the Chaos Tree that left them completely astonished.
