Looking at how they all seemed to be talking among themselves happily, he was about to leave when Hei Ying looked towards him, and since one of the disciples was looking at her, she looked up too.

She immediately stood up and bowed, "Greetings chief disciple Lin."

Others immediately paid their attention towards him while Mu Yao’s eyes lit up.

Lin Feng sighed and landed, "Greetings junior sisters."

Luckily enough, none of them seemed surprised by his cultivation realm. It seemed that they had already heard about it from somewhere. This was a relief.

"Chief disciple, sorry for keeping Mu Yao for too long. We got lost in talking..."

Lin Feng shook his head, "It’s perfectly fine. Don’t worry about it." He wanted that to happen, so he wasn’t the least bit concerned about it.

"Thank you for understanding chief disciple. We will take our leave."

The disciples bowed, and Lin Feng nodded. He didn’t ask them to continue their talks. It was enough for the day. Mu Yao had to cultivate too.

He looked towards Mu Yao who, after initial happiness of seeing him, avoided her eye contact as if she had done something wrong.

Lin Feng didn’t understand why she was acting like that. Was she feeling guilty of wasting so much time here? Well, it didn’t matter, "Let’s go..."

Mu Yao immediately perked up, "Ok senior brother."

Lin Feng used his spiritual sense and brought them on the Spirit Peak.

"Senior brother, isn’t this peak too empty?"

When Lin Feng heard that, he looked towards her, "It’s not accessible to everyone, so it was bound to happen. Nonetheless, when master and senior sisters return, it won’t be as empty."

Mu Yao had heard about the sect leader and peak masters of this sect from the senior sisters just now. She also knew that her senior brother’s master was sect master Xuan Xue. She was eager to meet them.

Usually, she wouldn’t have this eagerness as she might have been afraid of someone new, not to mention her status, but till now no one had ostracized her, and even those beautiful aunts had welcomed her happily which was far different than the experience she had till now.

"I didn’t mean that senior brother. I heard there are a lot of fruit trees at the base of the sect and behind the mountain," Mu Yao said with an expectant expression.

Lin Feng looked at her with raised eyebrows. So she wanted fruits to eat, "Alright, I will plant some trees here later." Well, it wasn’t a big task.

He would just uproot some good-tasting fruit trees and plant them around the cliff.

"Yayyyy~ Hei Ying, we can eat fruits again... hehehe," Mu Yao became happy immediately.

Hearing that, Lin Feng had a feeling that her usual food for a long time was fruits instead of a good meal. Come to think of it, he forgot that she hadn’t eaten anything after he brought her here, "You hungry?"

"What about the uneasy feeling we all are getting about?" Thunder Clap Eagle spoke with a little dread.

Every one of them felt a chilling dread as they appeared near the Frozen Heart Sect. This fear originated from their bloodlines, and they all didn’t quite understand why.

"Well, this sect seems safe enough from whatever danger is lurking here, so I have a feeling that it won’t affect us..." The Frost Scale Boa said with a voice which he wasn’t sure of either.

"Well, let’s see then... go on, go. I’ll pray to the heavens that you return alive... tsk," The Blood Fur Bear snickered.

Frost Scale Boa didn’t retort it. He knew that this bear would definitely pray for him to not return.

Lin Feng and Hei Ying looked at this amusing scene together. Lin Feng wasn’t able to hear what they were talking as they were very far. Even with his spiritual sense, he couldn’t reach them.

He didn’t know what these beasts were doing here, but one thing was for sure: these beasts were definitely very strong. Their size itself was a giveaway that these beasts were Heavenly Beast Realm or probably Sacred Beast Ascension Realm.

Just as he was thinking this, one of the beasts which was a snake with shimmering white scales made his way near him.

It arrived just a little far from the sect’s main protective array and spoke with a low tone, "Hey kid, can I ask you something?"

Lin Feng looked at him dumbfounded. Now that it was in his range, he could sense that this beast wasn’t just any grade 9 beast. It was peak stage of grade 9.

One more thing he noticed was that the beast was flying lower as if hiding himself behind the peak. It was almost at his eye level. Although given its tremendous size, it looked quite amusing.

"What do you want to ask?" Lin Feng asked calmly. He hadn’t sensed any kind of danger from these beasts, so it was given that they hadn’t come here to attack Frozen Heart Sect.

In fact, he could sense that this beast seemed to be quite intimidated. It seemed they could feel the suppression just being near his grandmother, even though they couldn’t see it or she was awake.

This suppression came from the bloodline of the beast. Lower-grade beasts might not feel much as they couldn’t sense the danger of that level, but a Sacred Beast could definitely sense it.

"Where is your sect master?" Frost Scale Boa asked while looking around the peak.
