Drunk on Marriage, Billionaire's Overindulgent Love-Chapter 832 - 322: [Heartbroken Fairy Tale] The Whale That Became an Isolated Island (Part 3)
...
When Lu Huai’an carried the girl reeking of alcohol out of the bar, the sky had already darkened.
The fury building up in his chest burned fiercer and fiercer, his sharply defined features cold enough to almost drip water, yet she was utterly unconcerned, restlessly pushing him with her hands.
His sword-like brows furrowed deeply.
Out of the corner of his eye, he glanced at the girl’s two fair and slender legs exposed to the air, swaying up and down with his steps, making one’s eyes hurt.
"How old are you? Do I need to tell you what thickness of clothes to wear for each season?"
The man’s indifferent voice conveyed an extremely displeased emotion.
Lin Chu burst out laughing.
Perhaps knowing that struggling with all her might would be of no use, she ceased her futile efforts, changing from pushing him to wrapping her arms around his shoulders, leisurely leaning against his chest.
Her cheeks blushed, and her delicate features carried a pretty smile.
Her breezy voice held a hint of indifference, "Young girls wear like this all the time, I’m not seventy or eighty, why cover up so tightly?"
When she went out in the morning, she wore an extra jacket on top, but only a denim mini skirt on the bottom.
The weather wasn’t so cold that it demanded completely covered legs, so her outfit was fine.
Lu Huai’an’s dark eyes were soaked with endless coldness, and the words he uttered weren’t pleasant, "You’re tormenting your body like this, you won’t live to eighty."
How many times had he told her to stop drinking?
Not only did she ignore his advice, but she also ended up hanging out with a bunch of useless rich kids!
Lin Chu kept smiling, seemingly unconcerned, "Aren’t you busy? Yet you still have time to catch me?"
The casual tone had a clear sense of mockery.
Lu Huai’an’s calm face, at this moment, breached the still sea surface, stirring up turbulent waves as if heralding an impending storm.
Following behind Lu Huai’an, Lun Jun quickly jogged forward, opened the passenger door, and after Lu Huai’an threw Lin Chu in, handed the car keys over.
He said respectfully, "Mr. Lu, you stayed up all night yesterday, please drive safely."
Apart from the sound of footsteps, there was no response.
...
The car door slammed shut with a ’bang’, nearly shattering Lin Chu’s eardrums.
She had actually only stayed in the private room at the bar for less than an hour, and it was now around 6 PM. If she hurried, she could still make it back to have dinner with her father.
She opened the car window, letting the cool breeze rush in, sobering her up quite a bit.
"I want to go back to the Lin Family, either send me back or throw me out of the car."
Even though she had been drinking, she hadn’t forgotten the argument that started yesterday at the Riverfront Apartment and continued into this morning at the hospital.
She originally thought getting drunk would help her forget, but it hadn’t worked that way.
The more foggy her brain became, the clearer those scenes were, as if thousands of ants were gnawing at her heart, not painful enough to be unbearable, but impossible to ignore.
Lu Huai’an turned the steering wheel and reversed, his cold dark eyes without a ripple, asked indifferently, "What if I don’t?"
She meant she didn’t plan to go home with him.
Lin Chu also didn’t have any extreme reactions, leaning leisurely against the car door, her elbow on the window, her long hair flying messily in the wind, the ends hitting her skin, both itchy and painful.
Her vision was blurred as she looked at the bizarre neon lights of the city, a dazed smile lingering between her brows and eyes.
"I’m a living person with flesh and blood, if it’s a place I don’t want to stay, you can’t force me, unless you tie me up with rope or break my legs, otherwise don’t expect me to obediently comply."
In Lu Huai’an’s dark eyes, endless fierce anger swirled, his cold features tinged with icy chill.
His fingers gripping the steering wheel turned white, veins protruding one by one on the back of his hand, as if they were about to burst from beneath the skin layer. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
The car speed increased, the buildings by the roadside rushed backwards fast, Lin Chu’s head felt a bit dizzy, her pretty brows lightly furrowed, but due to the open window, it wasn’t too uncomfortable.
She didn’t ask Lu Huai’an to stop, nor did she ask him to slow down, because her previous words were very straightforward and easy to understand, there was no need to be verbose.
And even if she tiredly repeated herself, if Lu Huai’an didn’t want to listen, it wouldn’t be of any use.
She didn’t know how much time passed, when she was about to drift into sleep, she heard the man’s indifferent voice sound by her ear, "Feel disgusted and want to end it?"
Amidst the wind noise and the city’s clamor, the chilling sensation that made one shiver slightly lighter.
