The fight began with a rapid exchange of spells and sword strikes. Miraak wasn't only a master of every known fighting style but also a caster of spells that weren't heard of or seen before. If not for Pride's knowledge of all Magic Spells ever cast, Jon would have had a hard time defending against that barrage of magic spells alone.

The two men moved in circles as they exchanged their fast attacks and tried to sneak in powerful ones every once in a while. Jon was super perceptive to this kind of trick and worked wonders with the Reflective Ward. On the other hand, Miraak wasn't minding if he got damaged since he had a curse laid out on him in order to send back portions of the damage Jon dealt him.

"FUS RO DAH!"

"FUS RO DAH!"

The Dragonborns shouted against each other with the Unrelenting Force. The two forces collide, and rather than simply negating one another, they start to do immense harm to the space around them.

A spatial spark erupted between the forces as their great powers couldn't escape from one another, and that spark turned into a bolt of wild Magicka that got swayed by the stronger force.

The bolt of Magicka broke from between the nexus of force and struck right near Miraak without hitting him.

A smile appeared on Jon's face, knowing exactly what kind of expression Miraak was making behind his mask.

In the battle of Thu'um, Jon has the upper hand.

It would usually be infuriating news to Miraak, but as he always does, he didn't attribute it to Jon.

"How many Dragons have you slain to possess this power?" Miraak watched Jon carefully as he felt the answer resonating between their souls, "You have slain a great many dragons, I see. And yet…"

Jon and Miraak charged at one another with their swords and their staves.

"Yet what?" Jon asked while pushing against Miraak's sword with Bloodskal and against Miraak's staff with Pride.

"Yet you are going to… UGH!"

Miraak was about to reply, but without having the chance to finish his words, Jon kicked him in the groin area.

"Gotcha bitch!"

Just as he lost his balance, Miraak found the red sword in Jon's head, digging deep into his abdomen and going out from his back.

It was all too sudden how Jon improved his skill with the sword in an instant, even though Miraak was giving it his all.

"NO! WULD NAH KEST!"

Miraak creatively used the Whirlwind Sprint shout and retreated away with it to take himself out of Jon's sword. Funny enough, Jon let go of his sword just to make Miraak's attempt futile.

"Running is beneath you, Dragonborn Miraak."

"Cough!" Miraak couldn't help but take out the sword himself, but as much as he tried to pull it out, the sword kept going deeper.

Jon's eyes were glowing as if he were secretly using Magicka without casting. He was making it difficult for Miraak to pull out Bloodskal, and he even made the sword twist from the inside.

"Bas… BASTARD!"

At that point, Miraak was finally infuriated, and with a burst of power, he shouted.

"MUL QAH DIIV!"

Not only was the sword taken out, but Miraak was healed almost immediately and was surrounded by something rather majestic.

With the word MUL, he demonstrated the strength of a Dragon, imbuing his arms with a power unlike any other among mortals. With the word QAH, he demonstrated the durability of a Dragon, imbuing his body with defense unlike any armor made by man. With the word DIIV, he imbued the might of wyrms and wore it like a crown, becoming the closest thing a mortal can get to a Dragon.

"Witness the true power of a Dragonborn."

He was glowing like the sun, surrounded by the scales of a dragon, and looking through the eyes of one.

A true Dragonborn was demonstrating his power.

The appearance of that majestic shout can't be done justice, as words are never enough to describe what it was like.

Jon watched all that unfold and decided to stick to the honor code of fictional characters to let his enemy complete his transformation and motivational scene.

"Just being generous this one time." Jon said.

"You are strong. Stronger than I believed possible." Miraak said, looking at Jon's sword on the ground.

"That's what she said." Jon replied mockingly.

"Yet you take me lightly. Why?" Miraak asked.

"I just pity you, mate." Jon replied.

"You? Pity? Me?" Miraak couldn't help but question each word Jon said.

In truth, Jon was simply pulling Miraak's leg and infuriating him.

"You're the oldest living being on Nirn that I have met, older than Master Fyr and maybe older than the Eldergleam tree, but… you're delusional as ever."

"I heard enough." Miraak didn't like to listen to what Jon was saying and shouted, "Kruziikrel! Relonikiv! Now!"

With his words, two dragons appeared from the depths of Oblivion and descended above the Tower of the Summit of Apocrypha.

"Here I come!" Miraak stepped ahead towards Jon with the pure intent of vanquishing him.

As for Jon, he held up his right hand and called Bloodskal right back to his hand.

"Fate decreed that you had to die so that I could win my freedom." Miraak shouted.

"Man, fuck your Fate and fuck you!" Jon replied, and their sword was swung with anger.

From a distance, Jon created a blade rift with Bloodskal's innate ability. Miraak dodged the sudden, unpredictable attack, but as he turned to Jon once again, there were ten other blade rifts already hurled toward him.

Miraak extended the length of his tentacle sword and swung it rapidly, like a whip.

Miraak's sword was imbued for eons with the power of Apocrypha as it gained this twisted form, but once it met with Jon's sword and they cut against one another, parts of Miraak's sword started to freeze.

The duel continued between Miraak, who was powered by the effect of his Dragon Aspect shout, and Jon, who kept using graceful footwork and impressive physical feats in order to stay on the same foot with Miraak.

But as Miraak's sword continued to freeze and become more rigid, Miraak took some distance to see what had become of his blade.

"What is this? This is no magic!" Miraak spoke.

"You came at me bearing a sword with the power of Oblivion." Jon said and waved his sword artistically before running two fingers on the side of the blade, "I come at you bearing a sword with the power of Winterhold."

"Hehehe!" Miraak couldn't help but laugh, "I really underestimated you, Dragonborn Jon Dare."

"Brother, you have no idea what I have in store for you." Jon replied with a calm attitude.

"Hermaeus Mora is laughing at us, you know." Miraak said with an obvious agitation.

"Isn't he laughing too soon?" Jon asked.

"Yet you still act like you can overwhelm a God!" Miraak said, on the verge of fury.

"Already did, brother." Jon smiled.

Miraak, an individual who is obsessed with hearing his own voice and having the last word in any debate, kept staring at Jon without knowing what to do. How would one deceive the Prince of Knowledge, whose knowledge is so extensive that he can predict Fate? a feat even Miraak was unable to do for centuries.

All Miraak could do was feel his anger gurgling from inside as if he were boiling… with envy.

But from whom? From this fledgling Dragonborn? One who is not even 22 yet? One who was born in an age where no wild magic was tearing the land and no dragons were ruling over the skies?

No!

It can't be.

Miraak's sanity became wild as his Dragon Aspect form started to consume more of the Draconic Power to fulfill his image of radical destruction and his intent to annihilate all that stood in his way.

"Too simple!"

Seeing that, Jon didn't even think of attacking Miraak since he felt like he saw all there was to see.

But Miraak was far from over; with his dominating voice, he called his dragon servants.

"Kruziikrel, ziil los dii du!" Miraak said these words, and the first Dragon, Kruziikrel, roared to the sky and submitted his life for Miraak.

In a golden stream of arcane power, the Dragon Soul was absorbed into Miraak and energized his Dragon Aspect.

"Jon Dare! Come at me!" Miraak shouted as he charged at Jon.

Miraak cast a barrage of superpowered fireball spells, which Jon's response to was a defensive ward but Miraak's real aim was…

"YOL TOOR SHUL!"

Miraak let out a draconian fire breath with an immense destructive power that pulverized everything in its way on its way to destroy Jon.

Seeing how Miraak started using actual tactics rather than just throwing tantrums with his sword and staff, Jon immediately switched his tactics and disappeared from sight like a mirage in the desert.

"Running away is beneath you, Dragonborn!" Miraak suddenly felt that his tactics were working, and he forced Jon to retreat, but not even a second later, he felt that he was hit by a force that moved him from where he stood and tossed him aside.

Miraak landed on his feet, but he saw the shadow of a black mare trying to run him over. But as he formed a ward with the Draconian Energy, he could see a glorious steed with eight legs rearing up and descending with its heavy hooves on the barrier, making a thunderous sound.

Jon was, of course, on top of his own steed.

"What is it, Miraak? I thought you were finally getting serious."

Miraak immediately teleported away from Jon to assess the situation, but as he landed at one of his tower's corners, he felt that the Magicka in the place was about to tear him to shreds.

Without thinking, Miraak zoomed across the roof, far from that place and far from Jon, but suddenly felt cold air across his neck.

If he hadn't ducked in the nick of time, his head would have been rolling on the ground thanks to the blade of a bone colossus samurai standing right over him.

"DAMN YOU!" Miraak unleashed his draconian power in the form of a shockwave in order to distance himself from those unholy spawns Jon kept calling over.

But Wrath and Pride weren't the start of it. Miraak was already being attacked mentally by two feminine figures that weighed down on his consciousness and made him feel shaken, scared, exposed, and powerless.

Knowing that it was all an illusion, Miraak circulated the last bit of the Dragon Aspect energy and broke from the influence of both Envy and Lust.

"How do you keep doing this?" Miraak finally got some time to breathe and decided to burn his second car, "Relonikiv, ziil los dii du!"

Just like Kruziikrel, Relonikiv roared to the sky and submitted his soul to Miraak.

Seeing that his Dragon Aspect was back to peak condition again, Miraak was almost about to get cocky once again when he suddenly towered over Sloth, the Frost Giant King, Karstaag.

"I know you." With a hint of familiarity, Miraak looked at Karstaag closely but realized that it was another one of Jon's things, "Get away!"

With a strong eruption of draconian energy, Miraak managed to block off Sloth's powerful attack, distance himself in the air, and finally return to what he was doing best, casting spells and shouting Thu'um.

"Jon Dare! You are a worthy foe! I shall show you what…"

"GET REKT, SON!"

Miraak felt the presence of a greater draconian force around him, and all of a sudden, he was pressured back to the ground while surrounded by the seven sin artifacts. He looked in front of him and saw Jon shouting the same spell he uses, Miraak's signature spell.

"MUL QAH DOV!"

Hearing his shout from Jon, Miraak's face twisted into both anger and mockery, the mix known as envy.

"So, you use my own Shout against me. You learn quickly."

But as Miraak said that, he realized that it wasn't exactly his shout.

The Dragon Aspect shout, which he painstakingly made, had the word Diiv at its end rather than Dov. Diiv means Wyrms, something that looks like a Dragon. On the other hand, Dov meant Dragons.

So how could Jon Dare just here and now say the word Dov and succeed in what he always thought to be impossible?

"You didn't!" Miraak was finally shaken.

He was finally admitting that what he was seeing wasn't some mind trick playing in front of his eyes.

There he was, Jon Dare, not simply wearing the appearance of a wyrm. Rather, he was like a Dragon.

In a simple sense, Jon manifested the soul of the Dragonborn into the shape of a Dragon.

The Dragon is Jon; Jon is the Dragon!

Jon tilted his head left, and the image of the Dragon above and all over him mimicked his movement to the millisecond. Even the pace at which he breathed and the way his eyes looked at Miraak.

It was identical!

Rather than Miraak's trick to manifest the power of Aka, Jon was standing there while fully manifesting every strand of potential a Dragonborn may have.

Jon Dare wasn't some Dragonborn who just awakened a year ago; he was a full-fledged dragon that had been sharpening his claws for a long time.

There is no Dragonborn in history anywhere near Jon Dare.
