Wu Yining returned to the Wu Residence, lost in thought, after leaving Prince Wei’s Manor. As she reached her own courtyard, a young maid came up to greet her.

"Young Miss!"

With a sharp little face, apricot eyes, peach blossom cheeks, and a red mole between her brows — this was the person Wufu and others were looking for, one of Wu Yining’s second-class maidservants, Xing Er.

"Young Miss, the plan failed." Xing Er spoke anxiously.

Wu Yining shouted with a delicate voice, "Silence! What are you panicking for? Get inside and stay put."
