Don't Fall For Me, CEO-Chapter 928: The Year of the Monkey and the Month of the Horse?
But Susan Carter didn’t know that July Quinn was unaware of his prank with so many contraceptives.
Even after he left the room, she sat alone on the sofa, absent-minded and unmoved to tidy up those instant noodles and contraceptives.
Until Kyle Keaton returned home, she was still pondering over Jenna Sawyer’s situation.
Like, how long has Jenna Sawyer been with that man? Surely they weren’t together only after the divorce, right? They seemed so familiar with each other!
But if Jenna Sawyer has been with that man for a long time, did Richard Donovan know?
Yes, even if she still intensely resents Richard Donovan as a father, knowing he got cuckolded, she still feels bad for him and wonders whether to tell him the green hat truth.
"Seems like you haven’t been satisfied before!"
It wasn’t until her ear was nibbled that July Quinn turned around and realized Kyle Keaton was already beside her, his hands conveniently and mischievously placed on her body, and his gaze was hotter than ever before.
"Satisfied with what?"
July Quinn was somewhat confused.
Kyle Keaton simply shoved something into her hand.
July Quinn glanced down and saw it was a contraceptive.
She frowned.
Why on earth is he giving her this useless thing?
"Open it."
July Quinn remained utterly baffled: "??"
"Hurry up, or it might be ages before you use all the stuff you bought."
Kyle Keaton said, glancing at the nearby coffee table with the whole bag of contraceptives.
It was then July Quinn realized exactly what kind of nonsense Susan Carter had done earlier, and she suddenly felt an urge to send him off to join his deceased buddies.
"Susan Carter bought it, nothing to do with me."
Normally, without any particular provocation, Kyle Keaton could already wear her out.
Now, with so many contraceptives stimulating him, if he really acted recklessly, July Quinn felt that today she’d be giving herself up to this matter.
So, she hastily made excuses.
But little did she know, as soon as she said that, Kyle Keaton’s grip on her waist grew stronger.
The intent was as if he desperately wanted to integrate her into his very bones.
"You went out with another man to buy such stuff?"
His gaze and voice were as cold as the December blizzard season.
"I was just pondering about something then, intentionally sending him away for a bit. Didn’t expect him to pull off something like this..."
July Quinn wanted to explain the situation roughly.
But to no avail, the man was burnt with jealousy, even cutting her off, sealing her lips before she could finish.
The entire night, July Quinn felt like a fish in a frying pan, flipped back and forth by Kyle Keaton.
Early the next morning, as always, Susan Carter came upstairs to July Quinn’s home with groceries from the community supermarket to make breakfast, Kyle Keaton was already up, rummaging through the kitchen for food.
Upon seeing Susan Carter, Kyle Keaton simply shut the fridge door.
"One order of egg and ham, one cup of black coffee."
After an exhausting night of indulgence, his stamina was drained, and his stomach was empty.
"Do you really take me for a nanny?"
Susan Carter grumbled, visibly annoyed.
But Kyle Keaton, unfazed, merely urged: "Hurry up."
After a night of wild revelry, Kyle Keaton was in a good mood, even found this surrogate son more agreeable.
Of course, what he worried about most was whether his excessive demands last night had upset someone.
Thus, he followed up with: "Make sure to prepare extra steak and fresh juice for her."
Nanny Susan Carter: "..."
Then, Kyle Keaton went on reading the morning paper, waiting for Susan Carter to make breakfast.
But then, Victor Hawthorne, who rarely contacts him proactively, called.
"Uncle? Have you seen the news online? You and..."
