Divine Son Reincarnated With A Domination System-Chapter 738: Brother-in-law
"Hey." Tang Yin greeted a young disciple wearing the clothes of the Inner Sect. "What's your name?"
The disciple stopped and returned the greeting. "Who are you?" he asked, without answering, and looked at his clothes. Since he wasn't wearing sect clothing, he assumed he was a disciple of the outer sect; after all, the sect was no longer accepting visitors.
"Do you belong to the Outer Sect? These stairs lead to the Inner Sect; unless you have unfinished business there, you should avoid going so you don't get scolded," he said.
He didn't give the matter much thought. He didn't think anyone would want to be friends with him these days, so he simply turned around and kept walking.
"And your name?" Tang Yin was perplexed that he had not received an answer to his question.
Although the young man was not in a very good mood to respond, since it was someone from the outer sect who was asking him, he figured he could be a little haughty. He turned around and smiled proudly, puffing out his chest.
"I am Wang Li Hao of the South, Number 12 in the Inner Sect. Prince of the Holy Fire Empire."
"Wang Li Hao?" Tang Yin was even more perplexed.
As Wang Li smiled even more proudly, he had been recognized... it had been a long time.
"Yes, Wang Li Hao of the Spear!"
As he stood there proudly puffing out his chest, he opened his eyes and noticed that the person questioning him was no longer there. Instead, someone he seemed to recognize was walking toward him, but he couldn't place where he knew them from.
"Hm? Did they leave?" Wang Li Hao sighed. 'Seems like you can't escape a curse, huh.'
He turned around and went back up the stairs, but then he tripped and almost fell. It was Tang Yin who caught him so he wouldn't fall.
"What are you to Wang Li Yue and Emperor Wang Li Tao?" he asked suddenly.
Wang Li Hao felt dizzy and quickly steadied himself before staring at him.
"You... know my older sister and my father?" he asked.
Hey... it had been too long since he had heard their names from anyone other than a Tang.
"You're Li Yue's brother? I see, I see, no wonder you say you're a prince." Tang Yin put a hand to his chin.
Just then, Tang Shang Bin came up behind them. "He is Old Wang's youngest son, Young Master."
Tang Yin nodded. "It's strange that he's alone. In my day, the prince had a bunch of young ladies around them."
"About that..." Tang Shang Bin smiled and looked at Wang Li Hao.
Li Hao was a little pensive, staring at him. His face slowly lit up until he realized who was in front of him. He immediately bowed.
"Elder Shang Bin, it's been a long time!" He greeted him enthusiastically.
"Haha, it has been quite a while. I haven't seen you in several decades. It seems you have grown stronger." Shang Bin nodded.
"What has happened to the Holy Fire Empire, Shang Bin?" Tang Yin asked, interrupting the emotional reunion. He had several questions and needed answers.
Wang Li Hao frowned. Wasn't the way this young man addressed Shang Bin a little too disrespectful?
This was Tang Shang Bin, one of the most powerful members of the Heavenly Hammer Sect!
A true bearer of the Heavenly Hammer, son of the Great Hero Shang, recognized as such by the Sect Master himself!
That's why he wanted to reply, to scold him... luckily for him, Shang Bin spoke first.
"Sir, the Holy Fire Empire..." He pressed his lips together slightly. "Let's just say it's not so holy anymore."
Tang Yin frowned and stared at Wang Li Hao. There was nothing about this boy's body that gave him a clue, but he sensed that something was wrong.
"What do you mean? As far as I remember, the Holy Fire of Wang is one of the most powerful spiritual weapons of its kind. And as long as it exists..." Tang Yin frowned.
He didn't exactly understand what was going on, but he considered a remote possibility.
He stared at Wang Li Hao, who stared back at him. He was still confused about who this man was.
"Little Wang, you are more familiar with that. Don't feel pressured by his presence, the Young Master won't hurt you, you are family after all," he said.
Wang Li Hao frowned even more. "Young Master? Family?" He couldn't hold back his doubt and had to ask.
Then Shang Bin understood the confusion.
Right, Wang Li Hao never knew Tang Yin because he was born less than 500 years ago. He had made a mistake.
"I'm sorry, Young Master. I forgot to introduce you." He apologized to Tang Yin.
"No, it's okay. I'll do it myself," Tang Yin said and put a hand on Wang's shoulder.
"How is your older sister?" he asked.
Wang Li Hao didn't understand what was happening. He knew all the powerful Young Masters of the Heavenly Hammer Sect; he was sure he had seen them all before, but he had never seen this one before.
And he didn't know how to describe him because his face was absurdly perfect.
Still, seeing how respectful Shang Bin was towards him, he had to refrain from asking one of his many questions.
"My older sister... Li Yue is fine," he replied, assuming that he was referring to her, as he had asked him something about her earlier. "She serves as the Leader of the Northern Region. I think Elder Shang Bin can give you more details. I haven't seen her in 10 years."
"Oh, the north." Tang Yin nodded. With a quick scan of his spiritual energy, he understood why he couldn't recognize the other "aura" besides Shang Bin's. It was because it belonged to Li Yue.
'How much has this woman grown? Her level is close to Shang Bin's!' he thought, shocked.
He didn't remember people in this world being able to reach such heights in just two thousand years. Still, he didn't say anything.
"If she's fine, that's good." He smiled. "Has she gotten married?" he asked.
Wang Li Hao shook his head. "No, sir. Li Yue is the betrothed of the Clan's Young Master. Even though he has passed away, she swore to remain in that state for the rest of her life," he replied sincerely.
Tang Yin smiled. "A loyal girl, just as I remember. Very good." He patted her on the head. "Tell me what has happened to your clan, brother-in-law."
His words stunned Li Hao, who couldn't understand those last words.
"My name is Tang Yin, by the way. The Young Lord of the Clan. It's been two thousand years, but I've returned from the dead."
