Divine Harem: My Sect of Heavenly Beauties-Chapter 267: The Vicious Cycle
After stabilizing the Island, Shen Yu proceeded to his next task, which was to create the structure itself. He already had an idea in mind, so it wasn't difficult.
It was a pure pyramid shape, with its sheer size dwarfing entire continents or even minor planets he had studied back at home.
It was no surprise though, as usually, Xianxia worlds tend to be far larger than stars, let alone planets.

The Qing Empire alone was as large as all the continents of Earth combined—or potentially even larger.
Of course, the size of the floors decreased the closer they were to the surface, so technically, the upper part of the pyramid was very small.
It was probably the size of a large island, as it covered the entire underground of the Heavenspart Island. But he made sure it was deep enough to not disturb the ecosystem—and even if it did, he would mend it.
'This is fun!'
Now that the basic structure of the Dungeon was complete, Shen Yu moved on to creating the various floors, where different biomes and world settings would be built.
Shen Yu wanted to create different types of settings, each with unique lore and more that would intrigue others and draw them into the dungeon.
But he refrained from going overboard, as he would eventually dismantle the dungeon anyway, and there was no need to go through all of that effort.
Though, that didn't mean others wouldn't explore it just to satisfy their curiosity.
'Hmm, perhaps I should throw in some puzzles here that can be solved by finding clues through quests and the search for relics.'
It was then he remembered something from one of his favorite games. That game—and others similar to it—used relics to explain the lore, which was one of his favorite aspects.
'I should do it!'
With a light smile on his face, Shen Yu began to construct the first floor, which was mostly just a beginner-friendly area with Tier 1 Spiritual Creatures.
He also hid a few relics in quests and item drops so that people would grow curious and start searching for more.
'A job at a game-making company wouldn't have been a bad idea.'
[Master, you probably would have just made harem games.]
'They do bring in money though. There are many people like me out there, you know.'
[Can't deny that.]
By then, Shen Yu had already completed the first floor, since he didn't need to add anything more to it.
He molded a thick layer of minerals to separate the floors. Taking into account that people might try to dig into the floor, he added a space-time continuation effect that made each floor a dimension on its own.
Unless someone was extremely proficient in the Dao of Space and the Dao of Time, they wouldn't be able to bypass it.
'This is better! Time for the second floor.'
Just like that, he continued creating floor after floor, within which he hid many secrets and mysteries to be solved. These would also serve as clues about the outer world and how one could contact them.
Shen Yu had decided to make a pathway from Heavenspart Island to the Qing Empire, and the clues along with the keys to unlock it would be hidden within these mysteries.
Once those mysteries were solved and the keys were found, the people of Heavenspart Island would have enough strength to set foot in the Qing Empire once again.
Then, the Labyrinth System would also disappear. But that was fine, as they would be connected to the outside world and could gain knowledge from there.
'Hopefully by then, we would have subjugated the Qing Empire.'
[You're still waiting for them to do the work?]
Shen Yu sighed.
'You should understand their feelings better than anyone, Nancy. If they want to deal with this themselves, then I'll let them. I know what it feels like to be on the receiving end.'
He remembered his old days and added,
'It doesn't matter what others say or feel—when you're constantly on the receiving end, you start to feel things you shouldn't. It also damages relationships that should have been pure.'
[That only applies to people who actually care about others… I understand, Master. This does worsen the relationship, as the other person wouldn't even realize what they did wrong, and the receiver will feel even more guilty.]
'It's a vicious cycle that I have no interest in. Besides, our plans are already progressing very quickly, so we don't have anything to worry about regarding pacing.'
Remembering Qing Zhiyan and Bai Li, he added,
'And some of them need to deal with their own problems, lest they manifest as heart demons later on.'
Shen Yu snapped his fingers, signaling that he was finally done with the basic structure of the dungeon. He had already added most of the elements he wanted.
"Nancy," he called out.
A tear in the fabric of reality opened beside him as Nancy stepped out in her classic uniform. She smiled at her two sister-wives and then looked out at the Heavenspart Island.
As for Stone, whom she casually ignored, he didn't feel slighted by it. In fact, he thought it was better that these godly beings weren't paying too much attention to him.
After all, he could clearly see they were his master's women, and he didn't dare even to glance at them improperly. Not that he would, but he still didn't want to be associated with any of them.
'I want to live a longer life.'
His master was very benevolent, but even a mighty being could turn malevolent if it concerned their family—especially their wives.
Meanwhile, Nancy continued to gaze at the dungeon, her eyes turning a shade of crimson dawn.
After a peaceful silence of several minutes, she raised her hand and whispered words that reverberated all around them, as if Heaven itself were speaking.
"Under the presence of Shen Yu, son of the Primordial Goddess, xxxx, you shall take birth and serve him until the end of your existence."
A crimson glow surged from her fingers and began to take the shape of a sphere. It shifted forms a few times before ultimately settling on its original shape.
Then, an ethereal, emotionless voice echoed from the sphere.
[I seek to know my purpose.]
