Chapter 136: Fetching Miranda

"So, um, can I go shopping with you?" asked Samantha.

"Oh, are you just eager to meet me, or are you hoping for a changing room encounter?"

Oh god, did I just say that?! He really was getting bolder.

After a long pause, she replied in a hopeful tone, "Um, would that be so bad?"

Wow. Did his soul strength affect her even over the phone, or did she understate things when she said she’d "had" a crush on him? Did he want her to meet Miranda and her mom so soon?

Her claim to being turned on by his budding harem made him want to meet her even more.

After some thought, he decided, why not?

He chuckled, then said, "No, it would not. Okay, if you want to join us, message me your address and I’ll pick you up on the way."

"Really?! Um, I was just, um, yes. Okay. Okay. Sure. Um, how long?"

She probably wanted to know if she had time to "prepare," or whatever it was girls did just before a date.

"Not for at least half an hour, probably closer to an hour or an hour and a half. I’ll message you as soon as I have an ETA. I have to pick up Miranda first."

"Wait?! Seriously?! Miranda? Big tits, the fantasy of every boy at school, Miranda?"

"Yep. She’s the one that’s met Madison."

"No way!" she said in an awed tone. Then probably not meaning for him to hear it, she muttered, "Sploosh."

"Yep, that Miranda. So, address? Can’t pick you up without it."

"Oh, right. Here, let me send that now."

A few seconds later, his phone beeped, and he saw an address. It looked like it was one of the NSU dormitories.

He was just pulling into his hotel parking garage, so he said, "Okay, gotta go. I’ll message you when I have a firm ETA."

"Okay. See you soon."

She sounded excited and hopeful. It was going to be an interesting experience. Him, Miranda, Miranda’s mom, and Samantha, all helping him shop for clothes for a date with Katie.

If anyone had told him a month ago that this would be happening, he would have laughed bitterly and told that person to fuck-off.

Jack walked into his hotel suite and dropped his school backpack on a chair. Miranda wasn’t in the sitting room, so he assumed she was in the bedroom or the ensuite. As he entered the bedroom, he saw through the door to the ensuite that she was fussing with her hair.

"Hey, what did your mom say?" he asked as he leaned against the ensuite door frame and admired her figure.

She was wearing a blouse and mid-thigh skirt and he wondered if she was wearing anything under her skirt. As she fidgeted with her hair, he noticed her breasts swaying under her top. No bra, probably no panties. Was she planning a little changing room fun? ƒгeewebnovёl_com

"She said she’s stuck in a meeting right now, but she’ll join us there once she’s free."

After he messaged Samantha and told her he’d be there in about half an hour, he replied, "Great. By the way, I found out from Samantha that the yacht club party is some kind of mixer for the children of the local wealthy and elite. Apparently, Katie’s mom is threatening to cut her off if she doesn’t go."

"Why would she do that?"

"Katie wants to be a doctor, and her mom wants her to marry a rich dude and start popping out babies, or something."

"That’s rough. But hey, maybe she’ll get lucky and you decide to... make her yours. Then she won’t have to rely on her parents."

She probably wanted to say soul bond.

"She might not like the idea of having to relying on anyone."

"If it was anyone but you, that would probably be true. But with you, she’ll probably make an exception."

"That’s what I’m afraid of."

He really wanted her to like him for him and not because he was her obsession, dream boat power daddy, or her soul was telling her to bow to him.

Deep down, he knew he was whining. Most guys would beat him to death in anger if they knew what he had and heard him complain. But damn it, part of him still wanted to be liked for who he was, and not for what he represented.

Miranda sighed, but didn’t say anything. She touched her hair a few more times, fussed with her outfit for a second, then turned to look at him.

"You need to change." She waved a hand at him and said, "That is fine for school, but if you want any kind of respect where we are going, you need to dress up a bit."

She walked into the bedroom and pulled out a pair of slacks and a button-down shirt from the wardrobe and laid them on the bed. It might look like she was trying to dress him, but she was just giving him fashion advice. He didn’t mind.

He’d changed, and they were in his Land cruiser driving away from the hotel when she asked, "Why are we headed towards NSU? The mall is in the other direction."

"We’re going to pick up Samantha. She’s eager to see me and I decided it was okay if she joined us."

"Hmm. If that’s the case, we may need to shop for her first."

"Why?"

"Because while you were still technically middle class until recently, she’s proper poor. I’d be surprised if she has anything worth wearing."

"She’d friends with Katie, so maybe Katie helped her out."

"Maybe, we’ll see."

When he pulled into a guest parking spot in front of the dorm building, he messaged Samantha. She replied immediately that she would be down in a minute.

Five minutes later, a petite red-head in tight jeans, high heels, and some kind of loose frilly top came rushing out.

She was about the same height as Madison, or maybe a couple centimeters taller, but where Madison looked like a petite version of Miranda, Samantha looked like a petite version of Analise.

She had a narrow waist, modest breasts, probably B-cup, and hips that swayed alluringly as she walked towards them.

Miranda made a noise of appreciation. "You sure know how to pick them, Jack."

"Um, technically, she picked me."

"Whatever, she’s lovely. She caries herself well and you were right. Looks like Katie helped her out. What she’s wearing will do just fine."

Then she looked at him and said, "Now get out of the car and give her a hug. I’ll sit in the back."

They both got out and Jack walked around the car to greet Samantha.

"Jack!" she said enthusiastically, but stopped arm’s length in front of him.
