Devil Slave (Satan system)-Chapter 1218: First Transformation
As the bus came to a halt before the immense central structure, Enel’s gaze was drawn upward.
The structure was a marvel, its spire piercing the sky, surrounded by banners bearing the sigil of the Lenny royal family—as well as a howling wolf encircled by runic symbols of power. Which represented wolf pack under the Lenny Royal family.
One banner in the center was the largest, its edges gleaming as though imbued with a life of their own. It fluttered proudly, a symbol of absolute authority.
All these banners were runed to perfection.
When the group alighted, soldiers immediately snapped to attention, their hands clapping against their chests in salute. Perseus nodded in acknowledgment, while Tomato gave a casual wave, grinning mischievously.
As the formalities concluded, a tense shift rippled through the gathered soldiers. Several of them stepped forward, their weapons raised.
These weapons were not ordinary firearms—their barrels glowed faintly with pulsating runes, as if they were alive and fed by the very essence of their wielders.
The weapons weren’t just tools of war; they were manifestations of Imperilment’s cutting-edge fusion of magic and technology.
The soldiers didn’t aim at the group as a whole but focused on a single target—Allison.
Before anyone could react, two soldiers lunged forward. With rough efficiency, they grabbed Allison by the arms, yanking her away from Enel. She stumbled but didn’t fall until one of the soldiers shoved her forcefully to the ground.
"Commander Allison of the First Command Division," one soldier declared, his voice cold and resolute. "You are under arrest for abandoning your post and mating with an outsider of the werewolf gene. By the laws of the pack under the Lenny royal family, you are hereby sentenced to death by Fanging."
The pronouncement hung in the air like a death knell. Perseus sighed deeply, his face hardening as though expecting this outcome. His voice was low, almost regretful as he spoke, "It had to happen. She knew the consequences when she abandoned her post. When she left her pack."
However, Enel froze, his eyes narrowing as the words registered. Then, with a sudden fury, his voice thundered through the air, shaking the very ground beneath them.
"How dare you pups touch my own!?"
The soldiers hesitated, taken aback by the commanding power in his voice. But before they could react, Enel surged forward like a storm.
One soldier moved to block him, but with effortless speed, Enel grabbed him by the arm, twisted, and slammed him into the ground with a fluid motion. The soldier hit the earth with a grunt, his weapon clattering uselessly beside him.
The other soldiers tensed, their instincts kicking in. They rushed to subdue him, but before Perseus could step in, Tomato placed a hand on his arm, smirking.
"Let it happen," she murmured, her tone dripping with amusement. "The King needs to show his own that he’s back."
Perseus frowned. "They don’t know who he is. They’re Deep Demon rank; they’ll kill him before they figure it out."
Tomato’s grin widened. "Oh, they’ll know soon enough. Watch."
The soldiers lunged at Enel, their weapons poised.
But he was like a worm I’m their midst navigating through them like a slippery eel.
And then before their strikes could land, Enel in both rage, annoyance and a faint feeling that had been tugging at him since he entered this city threw back his head and roared—a sound so primal, so thunderous, it silenced everything.
The air around him shimmered, and his body began to shift. His muscles bulged, his frame grew, and fur erupted along his skin—fur that was neither white like the others nor pure red but a striking mix of both. His transformation was swift yet elegant, a display of raw power.
As he completed his shift, the sigils of the Lenny royal family all around the structure began to glow in unison.
The massive central banner blazed with light, its runes responding to Enel’s roar. The acknowledgment was clear—this was no ordinary werewolf.
"The marks—they’re glowing!" one soldier whispered, his voice trembling.
Another pointed, his weapon lowering as he murmured, "It’s... it’s him. The King."
The beam of light from the central spire seemed to dim momentarily, as if bowing to Enel’s presence, before its brilliance returned, all the more intense.
The soldiers, even those who had attacked, stood frozen, their gazes locked on Enel with awe and fear.
Tomato chuckled, her eyes gleaming. "The King is back."
Enel’s form was magnificent, but it was short-lived. His roar faded, his knees buckled, and his body began to revert.
He staggered, falling to his knees before collapsing entirely, unconscious and back in his human form.
As he did, he pointed to perseus, "dont let anyone know... not yet."
Perseus stepped forward, sighing heavily. He understood what Lenny had asked.
He still did not want people knowing his identutt. At least not yet. Meaning that the soldiers here would be quarantined or the like.
Then again, he could not help but look at Enel in an amusing light. "Of course, he’d overdo it. First transformations are never easy, and he just tapped into more power than must because of the resonance of the pack the moment he entered their home."

The soldiers remained frozen, staring at Enel’s prone form. Perseus barked an order, snapping them out of their stupor. "Pick him up and get him inside. Now! Also, all soldiers within the vicinity should be quarantined in the barracks and speak to no one. Unless, I say so."
As they scrambled to comply, Tomato knelt beside Enel, brushing a strand of hair from his face. "Not bad, Your Majesty. Not bad at all."
The tension in the air remained, but one thing was clear—the King of the Lenny royal family had returned, and the fun part was just beginning after all, certain forces were moving and they were very dangerous ones.
....
In a certain land with rainbows with all grayed out colors, grayed out atmosphere, grayed out life... a certain entity smiled as he looked deep into the sky as if seeing Enel wig his own eyes even though he was light years away..."beautiful," this grayed out entity commented.
