DESTINY GAMES-Chapter 293: New And Improved.
It can always replicate what it has copied before, even if that copy is destroyed. For example, it can recreate copies of slaves if they die. All it will need is energy.
As long as it has energy, it will be able to recreate copies. To others, this will look like those slaves were resurrected.
Unfortunately, this seed lacks the core that makes Yggdrasil special. If he wants it to be capable of enslaving others, he will have to find an ability that can enslave others and fuse it with the seed.
But that doesn’t mean the seed is useless for what he wants to do. He doesn’t actually need to enslave Wrath. He will be more than content if the seed can replace Wrath completely.
For the seed to grow, it needs something powerful to replicate. The stronger the object, the better.
He has one such object tightly connected to him. It is the divine artifact that is the source of all of his abilities. This divine artifact is also the foundation of Wrath’s existence.
To replicate the ring of paragon, the seed must first destroy it. Then it will replace it.
That’s what is going on currently in his body. The seed is trying to grow by devouring the ring of paragon.
This struggle is evident in the change of the colors of his tattoo from gold to the multicolored light of his poltergeist ability.
Wrath doesn’t want this to happen. She is resisting him with all his might. Read latest chapters at novelbuddy
He failed to subdue her with his link before, but things are different this time. This time, he has the help of another divine artifact on his side. It is also a divine artifact created for the sole purpose of devouring other divine artifacts.
Actually, the seed is not attacking her. It is only attacking the ring. It is bypassing her defenses to strike at her foundation and core.
What he had been trying to do earlier with the Life Bond that he wanted to force was what Aganju had done to her shadowy form. Even if he had succeeded, she would have simply scattered herself and regenerated later.
It would have failed because he was attacking the wrong thing. This time, however, there was no chance for failure. She would be replaced from the ground up with his own ability.
She got all up in his face and yelled at him with anger, "You ingrate. I made you what you are. Without me, you would be a shapeshifter at best. You would be nothing without me."
He decided to speak. "You’re only right about one thing, and that is the fact that you made me what I am. As for the rest, they are wrong."
"Without you, I would have been an exceptional shape-shifter. I wouldn’t be nothing without you. I had the potential and mindset to achieve greatness. If you remember, that’s the reason you selected me to be a paragon."
"And I am clearly an exceptional paragon. You’ve had many paragons before me, but one of them had been able to subdue you. Clear, I am one of a kind."
Wrath swore at him. "You cocky shit. You will never get away with this. Icon will come after you. He will avenge me. He will never let a dictator rule Earth-11."
Kelvin didn’t care about her threat. He said, "That’s good. It will save me the effort of looking for him."
He actually took the threat of a demigod seriously, but he is not going to let that stop him from replacing Wrath.
He even decided to mock her. "What else do you have to say? Say them now before you die."
She raged and roared all to no avail. Her black shadowy form began to shrink and lighten up as multicolored light eroded the golden tattoes on his body.
Her voice was the first to go. He stopped being able to hear her. Eventually she couldn’t maintain her for anymore and disappeared.

The process was very painful to her. After all, she was dying. She cried out in pain before she disappeared. Fortunately, he couldn’t hear her scream at that time.
The process was also painful for him. But he didn’t feel the bulk of it because he became unconscious.
When he became unconscious, a multicolored cocoon wrapped around him. He also dreamt of the meeting Icon had with the god kings after reaching the top of the tower of destiny.
He saw Icon refuse to take the power for himself again. Then he saw it again because the scene repeated endlessly.
The dream eventually stopped and he woke up. It was four hours after he became unconscious. The multicolored cocoon had been absorbed into his body.
He stood up and looked himself over for any visible changes. He was disappointed to see that there was none.
He was still black. The whites of his eyes, his hair and teeth were still black too.
The large golden tattoo of a spiked ring on his right chest, just above his heart was still there. The spikes on the golden ring extended outwards all over his black skin. They formed golden lines that covered his face and hair.
These golden lines weren’t just surface tattoos. They went deep into his muscles and bones. They were on his teeth and tongue. They were in his mind and soul.
He hadn’t changed physically, but he knew that nothing was the same about his abilities anymore.
He willed it and is sixth ability came to life. A shadow appeared in front of him. It looked exactly like him except it was a shadow and it didn’t have any tattoo.
The shadow stood there silently. It didn’t say anything because it had no personality or identity.
This was the manifestation of the spirit of the ring. But the ring being one of his ability means it is the manifestation of one of his ability.
Kelvin thought about it and decided to give it some personality. He shared some of his memories with it.
It took a 13 seconds before the process was done. When it was done, the shadow checked out its body and said, "At least I’m still handsome."
Kelvin frowned and said, "I’m not that shallow."
The shadow explained, "You’re not. I was just messing with you."
Kelvin didn’t like that, so he deleted the shadow. He can do that because he has complete control of it.
Then he began creating another shadow. He wanted one because unlike Wrath, the shadow has the ability to interact with the world. So it is manpower that he can use.
He soon created another shadow and also gave it his memories to make it intelligent. But the shadow stood in front of without speaking.
Kelvin frowned and said, "Make a joke."
The shadow said, "I’ll rather not. If I say something you don’t like, you will delete me like you did the last one. I don’t want to die, so I’ll keep my mouth shut."
Kelvin laughed. He said, "You’ll do."
He felt relaxed and at peace. He felt all the tension leave his body. He was so relaxed that he sat in the couch and sighed in relief.
Then he said to the shadow, "Go and bring me some food."
The shadow grumbled, "I haven’t been born for more than ten seconds and I’m already being bossed around. This is child labor. It is illegal."
Kelvin didn’t mind the grumbling he was amused by it. He watched as the shadow passed through the wall easily. Then he saw through its mind as it opened the fridge looking for ice cream.
He wasn’t as impressed with the shadow’s ability to pass through walls as he was impressed with its ability to know exactly what food he wanted.
The shadow knew what he had in mind even though he hadn’t said it. He liked that and his total control over it very much.
He liked it so much that he decided to make other shadows. He made five more, as the maximum he could make was tied to the number of abilities he had in his Power Shifting slots.
Each shadow can interact with the world and also use his abilities. They can use only one ability, which is the one whose slot they were created from. But that is already very powerful.
This is one of the advantages he gained from taking total control of the ring of paragon.
There is one other thing he gained apart from the shadow clones. He also gained the mental immunity that Wrath had promised him.
The mental immunity was granted by the ring of paragon, not Wrath. The best part is that he didn’t have to trust his shadows to gain those abilities.
Not that that would be an obstacle to him since he trusted his shadows. After all, they are manifestations of his abilities. If he can’t trust his own power, then he can’t trust anything.
