Demon Lord Management Sim Game-Chapter 68 68 – The Agony
Because the armored figure had just taken that sword from the cave wall, it was not ready for Emily's weapon. The supreme undead used that moment by ramming her foe until they both fell.
The armored figure was about to grab its sword, which slipped from its hand. However, that figure can't find that thing anywhere.
"I know this is just a reflection of all of you fighting to get out of my control." Emily was standing a few feet from that figure. Her severed hand is back to normal. "And I can also feel that this is in my mind. So, I can arrange it as I want, even though it's not all."
The undead supreme walked up to the figure with her own sword in her right hand and her enemy's sword in her left.
"Why?" The armored figure tried to get up, but suddenly chains appeared from the ground and restrained its body. "Why do you still insist on keeping us?"
Emily crossed her swords against her enemy's neck. "Again, I'm sorry. I promise to release you guys in the future." f𝐫ee𝘄ℯ𝚋no𝐯𝐞l.c𝘰m
"When?" The armored figure made a sound like it was about to cry. "Don't you have a heart? We're too tired. Please, release us."
Emily felt like her stomach was being squeezed out. "I can't tell you when to release you. You all can only wait…. Hey, look at it from the other side. At least you guys have a new purpose."
The armored figure shook its head. "We don't need purpose, but peace..."
Emily cut off her enemy's head before its finished speaking.

Emily opened her eyes, finding the undead cave again, but the color of the light had returned to purple, and the size was back to normal.
As she guessed, the events just now were just a dream.
Feeling the warmth on her body, she straightened herself into a sitting position and found a bonfire beside her.
And when she looked around, she saw that the mage was still surrounded by the shapeshifters. At the same time, the magic-user two companions were still being restrained by the undeads. 𝘧r𝑒𝘦𝒘𝘦𝙗novel.𝐜o𝒎
Their faces looked tired and showed immeasurable agony.
"Thank goodness you're awake, miss." Finn hurried over to the supreme undead. "You've been unconscious for a day."
Slowly, Emily's eyes widened, then pointed at the shapeshifters. "So, all of you kept staring at that naked woman all day!? And aren't you guys already able to control corpses!? Why did you let those undead keep them restrained!?"
"You didn't give us orders about that, lady Emily." One of the shapeshifters answered.
The supreme undead patted her forehead. "Holy shit."
Apparently, they are not as bright as she thought.
"They can't stand it, so they pee here. And because it takes too long, their pee is dry." Finn grimaced.
"Don't tell her that!" The mage and the spear wielder protested, while the archer only let out a long sigh.
"Release her." Emily gave orders to the shapeshifter while controlling the undeads to release the adventurers.
"I-I'm so scared and embarrassed that I can't move." The mage, crying and still naked, couldn't get up from sitting on the ground.
The spear wielder removed the cape on her back, then put it on the mage. pan(da-n0vel.c)om
"I'm sorry. I didn't know I'd be out for too long." Emily felt sorry for those three people. She lowered the bag of gold on her belt, giving it to them. "I hope this will make up for my mistake."
Instead of accepting that thing, the three people frowned. So, Emily gave it to Finn instead.
"We have no ill will to all of you." Emily shrugged. "We just happened to meet."
Finn lowered his chin. "Why?"
"Because lord Vorn would surely do the same." The supreme undead widened his smile. "And it would be better if you spread his name and kindness."
"Well, I already did…. Kinda…" Finn scratched his hair. "That's because Ritor asked me…."
"Don't say that name in front of me." Emily snorted, turned around, and pressed her right hand against the wall. Unlike before, this time, she felt something.
The cave wall collapsed, revealing the undead behind it. All of them were only bones, and there was one giant elephant with two tusks. Finn's comrades shrieked in horror and fled. No one stopped them.
Instead of being satisfied, Emily felt an uneasiness in her heart. She can stand if it's just killing people in that cave because she's been doing it for years.
But this is different. She was even more evil than any murderer for trapping many suffering souls.
"E-excuse me." Finn's body began to shake. "Can I request one of them…"
"I know." Emily flashed a faint smile.
One undead walked out of the pack, making Finn gasp.
"Amber…." Finn examined the few pieces of clothing left on the undead's bone-only body. "This is you, right?"
He then knelt down and wept for the late fiancé.
"Now you can properly bury her." Emily tapped the man on the shoulder. "And I apologize for keeping her locked up for too long. Lord Vorn made me realize that I shouldn't do this."
Of course, those last words weren't entirely true. Emily uses it to persuade Finn only.
Finn would answer with an even louder cry. "This time, I will spread Lord Vorn's name! I promise!"
"You're nice." Emily widened her smile. "Thank you for not holding a grudge against me."
"I am nothing in front of you." Finn lowered his head. "No matter what grudge I have against you, I can't do anything."
Emily tapped the man on the shoulder a second time. "I have to go now. Thanks."
As soon as Emily and the others left the place, Finn continued to cry. The undead in front of him finally collapsed.
Emily wiped a tear from her eye. Perhaps what she did was little, only to free one soul. However, it meant a lot to that man.
She surveying her army of undead, numbered around one hundred and fifty. There's no point in thinking about other things. She still had to resurrect many more undead in two different places.
Yes, it's better to focus on preparing for the coming war. It's for Lord Vorn's sake.
