Demon CEO's Hidden Love: Mr Grayson Stole Me From My Abusive Husband-Chapter 322: You Call Yourself A Mother?
"Fine, I’ll take your money, but don’t call me, or text me or come find me. If anything comes up, I’ll be the one to reach out to you." Anna said, slipping his card into her purse.
She got up to leave, but Kayden grabbed her wrist. "Twice a week. Let’s meet twice a week." he pleaded.
Peeling his fingers off, she gave him a nasty glare. "You must have so much time on your hands to be this desperate." she wiped her hand against her hoodie, vivid disgust in her eyes.
"Drunk or not, you still took advantage of me. So, if you don’t want me mouthing off to my family, you’ll stick to my demands." She threatened, only for Kayden’s response to stun her.
"I am willing to meet your family, if it means we can see each other." He suggested.
Anna laughed. "Do you know just who I am? Do you know how many guys are lined up just to have dinner with me?" She looked him from head to toe.
Aside his good looking face and his attractive build, he was dressed in a simple suit. Certainly, it screamed luxury, but just not the sort of luxury that could catch her eye.
She had seen a wide caliber of bachelors like him, and if anything she wasn’t looking to hook up with the bottom of the barrel.
"I’ve never seen you in any social gatherings, so I can tell you’re nowhere near my class. So do me a favor, and don’t cross the line." She said then marched out of the bar, muttering insults on her way out.
Kayden snapped his finger, summoning one of the men dressed in black.
"Drive her back." He said.
The driver was left speechless. He looked at his companion, who shared an equally stunned expression.
"But Miss Grayson said-"
Kayden cut him off. "She didn’t come here with her driver. Do you think I’ll let her go home by herself?" He raised his voice, sending shivers down their spines.
The driver nodded and quickly went after her.
"Sir, what about you?" His bodyguard asked. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
"Call for a cab." He said then turned to the counter, where the bartender had been silently watching their drama unfold.
"I’ll cover her tab." He said.
"Of course, sir." The bartender replied, in awe of what he had just witnessed.
Just who was this man? And what in the devil’s name has Anna Grayson done to get him so hooked?

Cassie frowned as she watched Serena and Scott empty glasses of whiskey. She had been tempted to try some, but her mother wouldn’t even let her near any.
However, tonight was a special occasion, or so she had been told.
"What good thing could possibly be working in my favor? That bitch Brooke is starring in a drama I was supposed to be in! And with Aaron too! The issue with her and Ethan was swept under the rug. That bitch is taking everything from me." Cassie ranted.
Her mother shook her head, "Cassie, you’re just not using the situation to your advantage. It’s at moments like this you need to clip her wings."
Scott seconded, "In the eyes of everyone, you’re the nation’s sweetheart. You brought Brooke into your agency, and introduced her to director Lee. You just need to stir the pot more."
Hearing these words piqued her intrigue. "Oh? And what did you have in mind-"
Their conversation was cut short by the sudden arrival of her personal assistant.
Serena frowned. "Who the hell asked you to come in here?!" She raged, wondering just how much she had heard.
Hannah turned to Cassie, "Ma’am, your father just arrived." She announced.
Serena frowned, "Hey, did you just ignore me-"
Cassie cut her off, "Shut up! I was the one who asked her to be on the lookout for father." She gestured her assistant over, and used her as a crutch to stand up.
Serena got up, she reached for Cassie’s hand, but she swatted it away. "I’m fine. You two busy yourselves with finding a way to make that wench suffer." She announced, then left with Hannah.
Watching them leave, Serena balled her fists, "That witch is causing a rift between Cassie and me! I can’t let this go on for much longer."
Scott lifted the corners of his mouth into a sly grin. "That assistant of hers, she is quite the looker." He licked his lower lip.
His sister frowned, "That ugly thing? Brother, you have disgusting taste as always."
Scott laughed, "Why do you hate the little thing so much?"
"I know she’s lying to our faces. For Cassie’s sake, I need to get her away from her." Serena insisted.
Her brother dropped his glass, then leaned in, "If that’s the case, I’d be happy to help get rid of her."
Serena’s ears stood up, "How do you intend to do that?"
Scott grinned, "Come on, don’t play dumb with me. You said she was hired by the new president, so it’s beyond your power to get her fired. Well, we can just frame the bitch and have her axed out." To Scott, once that happened, he could be the shoulder she cried onto.
"Can you really do that?" She inquired, desperate.
"Of course. However, it’ll cost you a steep amount. But I guarantee the job will be done in a way that assistant won’t ever get work anywhere else." He assured his sister.
She smiled, "That’s perfect. And don’t worry about the money, I’ll get it to you in a bit."
"You mean you’ll get it from your ex?" He pried.
Serena leaned back and crossed her legs, "You know, I really was a fool back then for choosing Luther. If I knew Julian was this loaded, I would’ve never had Cassie to begin with."
Scott laughed, "But the kid you did have with the man, you’re not even showing her any love. And you call yourself a mother."
"Brooke?" Serena sneered, "She brought all this on herself. If only she listened to what I said, Ethan, Julian and everything else would’ve been hers."
"Is that so?" Scott muttered under his breath.
"What? Don’t tell me you’re feeling pity all of a sudden." she snapped.
"No. But level with me, if Brooke had somehow came into wealth, and I’m talking big bucks, would you ditch Cassie and be with her instead?" he asked all of a sudden.
Serena laughed, "More than Cassie? I don’t believe it!"
Scott rolled his eyes, "But imagine it for a second, and tell me honestly, would you switch up on your beloved Cassie?" he teased.
His sister leaned in, a reckless grin on her face and said, "In a heartbeat."
He cackled, clapping his hands, amazed, "I knew it! No one is better than you. Poor Cassie would have her heart broken if she ever found out about this."
Serena poured herself more alcohol, "But, hell would have to freeze over before that ever happens." she added, her tone sinister.
