Chen Xiaobei’s strength was immense. Zhang Xiangdong flew a good four or five meters before smashing heavily into the wall!

She was a woman who understood gratitude. Chen Xiaobei stepping in to help her at a time like this had moved her beyond words. If anything serious happened to him, how could she live with herself? But with Liang Xiaoxiao holding her tight, she couldn’t break free. Watching Chen Xiaobei get surrounded by those thugs, she felt utterly hopeless.

In the next second, however, Qiu Xingcai was dumbstruck.

On Chen Xiaobei’s handsome face, there wasn’t the slightest hint of panic. He looked at the charging students as if they were a pile of trash.

He struck out left and right, stepping forward to grab one man’s wrist. Then, with a forceful twist, Chen Xiaobei snapped it!

Staring at his tall, handsome figure, Qiu Xingcai’s mouth hung open as if she were in a dream. She knew Chen Xiaobei had been a good fighter since they were kids, but she never imagined he was this good. They hadn’t even managed to touch his clothes before he disabled them all. His skills were just too ridiculous.

"He’s... so incredible!" Qiu Xingcai couldn’t help but murmur. She had always had a crush on him, and now her heart was pounding in her chest, running wild.

Liang Xiaoxiao, on the other hand, was completely petrified. Terrified, she plopped right onto the floor.

He won’t hit me too, will he? she thought.

But she was overthinking things. Chen Xiaobei didn’t even spare her a glance. He walked over to Qiu Xingcai and said with a smile, "How about I take you home? And really, you don’t need to beg Zhang Xiangdong. I can help you."

"W-What?" Qiu Xingcai was stunned, thinking she must have misheard.

"Insolent!" Yang Zhengtian barked. "We’re in the middle of a major crackdown, and you dare to commit such a crime so brazenly? Arrest him." He shot a meaningful glance at his two subordinates.

"How audacious! Arrest them both," Yang Zhengtian commanded, his brow furrowed. His two subordinates started to move forward.

"Don’t you come any closer! You monsters! You’re completely lawless!" Qiu Xingcai trembled, but she continued to shield Chen Xiaobei fiercely.

Chen Xiaobei clenched his fists. Just as he was about to make a move, two men walked into the private room.

"Excuse me, is Doctor Chen here?"

"Doctor who? Get the hell out!" Zhang Xiangdong snapped.

But when he got a clear look at the man who had spoken, his face went pale with shock. "Ma-Magistrate He? You... why are you here?"

He Yongkun didn’t even bother to acknowledge him. He walked straight to Chen Xiaobei and asked with a surprised look, "You must be Doctor Chen, I presume? What on earth happened here?"
