Daddy is too Strong-Chapter 74
Chapter 74
Looking troubled, the station attendant said, “Did someone summon their pet...?”
Or it could have been a tamed monster.
Either way, he wondered if there was possibly a Tamer nearby.
In any case, as a station attendant, he thought he should do his duty and find its owner. He decided to take it to the office and make an announcement.
That’s when a woman’s voice interrupted. “Is there a problem?”
The station attendant turned his head to identify the speaker. His eyes widened, and he stammered as he recognized her. “H-hunter Han Min-Ji!”
“Thank you for recognizing me. But... have my little ones caused some trouble?”
The attendant looked back and forth between Yong-Yong in his hands and Min-Ji.
“Y-your little ones?”
“Yes. I’m taking care of these cute little things, but they went off running as soon as I took my eyes off them for a second. Thank you for holding onto them!”
The station attendant looked confused but quickly nodded, giving a weak laugh.
Min-Ji was an incredibly influential Hunter in the country; it was best to stay on her good side and avoid any actions that might upset her.
“Y-yes, of course. Haha... I never imagined you had taming skills as well.”
Min-Ji simply smiled in response to the attendant’s remark.
This woman... Yong-Yong thought her face looked familiar, and as he wracked his brains, he realized who she was.
She was the woman named Min-Ji who had once visited Do-Jun’s house.
In any case, it was clear that she was trying to help him right now, so he decided it was best to play along with her story.
Yong-Yong jumped out of the attendant’s hands and into Min-Ji’s arms, calling, “Mommy!”
Min-Ji was momentarily taken aback by the word “mommy,” but she decided to go along with the act to avoid any unnecessary misunderstandings.
“Y-yes... come to mom.”
Karsiel, who was watching, looked horrified and muttered to herself, “Lord Izaas’... mother...?”
The one who had given birth to Izaas, the Lord of all Dragons, stood before her. She trembled and crouched involuntarily.

8:40 AM, Fissure Management Division, Seoul City Hall.
“That’s odd... Has he ever been this late before?” Cheol-Soo muttered as he looked at the time displayed on his monitor.
Hyuk-Soo had always arrived before 8 AM, or at the latest by 8:30 AM, but today, he seemed to be running late.
Though a civil servant’s official working hours started at 9 AM, it was strange that someone who always showed up early suddenly didn’t.
Is something wrong? Do-Jun thought, deciding to call Hyuk-Soo, and pulled out his smartphone.
But before he could, he got a call from Hyuk-Soo himself.
“Yes, Senior.”
—Do-Jun? Cough, cough.
From the cough coming from the other end of the line, it seemed Hyuk-Soo had caught a cold.
“Are you feeling unwell, Senior?”
—Yes... I think I’ve caught the flu... Cough! Could you... please ask Chief... if I could take the day off...?
“Understood. Have you taken any medicine?”
—Yes, I’ve taken some. Thanks for asking.
“I’ll speak with Chief, so don’t worry and get some rest. I hope you feel better soon.”
“Ah, cough, cough. I also have a favor to ask. Could you... cover the Hunter Academy... field trip today? Cough!”
Hyuk-Soo was scheduled to visit and give a brief introduction of a C-rank Fissure called the Orc Settlement at the Dongguk University Seoul Campus, where students from the Hunter Academy would be undergoing their practical class.
Though the Fissure had already been mapped, and occasional patrols were all that was needed, like any other workplace, the civil service had certain unspoken rules to follow—the Fissure Management Division needed to attend the practical class even though it wasn’t necessary.
Furthermore, if the division suddenly backed out of a pre-scheduled engagement, it would harm Seoul City Hall's image and reflect poorly on Hyuk-Soo.
“Of course, I’ll handle it. Leave this to me and rest well, Senior.”
—T-thank you... Please let Chief know as well...
After ending the call, Do-Jun explained the situation to Cheol-Soo and reviewed the materials on the C-rank Fissure, the Orc Settlement, as his task was to provide a brief overview of the Fissure.
“Hmm, Dongguk University by 10:30 AM.”

Vroom!
A sleek black sports car started up in the parking lot.
Min-Ji casually opened the door, got into the driver’s seat, and then looked over at the mini dragons.
“We’re going the same way, so I’ll give you guys a ride.”
“What a weird-looking car,” Yong-Yong muttered.
He had only ever ridden in taxis. Now, he was looking at a small car with a low-slung body and an emblem that read “Dugatti.” Its doors opened upward.
Yong-Yong and Karsiel hopped into the passenger seat.
Min-Ji had been invited by the academy to assist the students with their field practice, and since the dragons were going to the same place, she decided to drop them off at the university grounds.
“Ajumma [1], how much does this car cost?” Yong-Yong asked.
Min-Ji’s grip on the steering wheel tightened for a moment. She was only twenty-five and not even married yet. Her looks were so stunning that she even had a fan club.
She never expected to hear herself called ajumma.
“About eight billion won. And please don’t call me ajumma, okay?”
Karsiel glanced between Yong-Yong and Min-Ji. It seemed that the “mommy” comment Yong-Yong had made earlier was a lie.
She let out a sigh, a mix of disappointment and relief.
“Eight billion?” The enormous amount of money left Yong-Yong baffled.
Karsiel whispered in his ear to clarify, “That’s enough money for you to eat braised short ribs and chicken every day for the rest of our lives, Lord Izaas.”

“What... did you just say?”
The idea of eating short ribs and chicken every day pleasantly shocked Yong-Yong, especially since at home, Yoon-Hee was frugal and limited meat dishes to two or three times a week, so the thought made an even stronger impression.
“Hmm...”
Min-Ji, driving the car, suddenly hit the brakes hard, startled by Yong-Yong’s next words. “Will you marry our master?”

10 AM, Dongguk University’s Sanglog-Won.
The three-story building housed student and faculty cafeterias as well as other eateries. Near its entrance, a Fissure about fifteen meters stretched toward the sky—a C-rank Fissure known as the Orc Settlement.
The surroundings were ablaze with murmurs as passing students gathered to watch the Hunter Academy trainees assembled in front of the Fissure.
In 21st-century society, Hunters were more admired than any other profession. Academy trainees, who had a 99% chance of becoming Hunters upon graduation, were a source of fascination and envy for ordinary people.
“Oh yeah, apparently, today’s the field trip day for the Academy.”
“I didn’t notice before, but the newer suits actually look pretty stylish.”
“Wow, that girl’s really cute.”
The students of the Hunter Academy freshmen Class B reacted differently as the passing university students whispered about them: some shrank back in embarrassment, while others puffed up with pride.
Yoon-Hee fell into the former category.
This is so embarrassing...
She wasn’t sure if it was just her imagination, but it felt like the university students, especially the guys, were staring directly at her.
The skintight suit, often called tights, accentuated her curves, making her all the more self-conscious.
“Y-yoon-Hee!” At that moment, someone approached Yoon-Hee.
It was Seo Jin-Soo, a fellow student from Class B and the second son of the chairman of IG Group, Korea’s fourth-largest conglomerate.
He was currently, undeniably, in love.
“Hmm?” Yoon-Hee looked at Jin-Soo, tilting her head in confusion.
Seeing this, Jin-Soo’s face flushed, and he stammered as he clenched his fists, “Let’s d-do our best today!”
“Yeah, thanks. Good luck to you, too.”
“O-okay!”
Jin-Soo turned away and headed back to his spot, tears of joy welling up as he cheered himself on.
She’s an angel. That girl’s an angel...
While her looks certainly played a part, the main reason Jin-Soo had fallen for her was her purity—a quality he hadn’t seen in other girls these days.
Though many girls had approached him before, they all seemed more interested in Jin-Soo, the heir, than Jin-Soo, the student.
As he was feeling disillusioned and developing a certain opinion against women, one girl was promoted to Class B from Class D—Yoon-Hee.
It was then that Jin-Soo understood what love at first sight truly meant.
That untainted innocence, plus her kindness and beauty... I know other guys are after her, too, though...
But fortunately, Yoon-Hee didn’t seem interested in anyone from her class—or the Academy as a whole.
You got this, Jin-Soo!
He was determined to make today the day he impressed his love.

Meanwhile, Do-Jun had just arrived at Dongguk University.
It took less than twenty minutes to travel from Seoul City Hall to the C-rank Fissure at Dongguk University.
“Thank you.” After handing the taxi driver a 10,000 won bill, Do-Jun stepped out of the car.
Seeing that about twenty minutes remained until the assembly time, he started walking toward Sanglog-Won, where the students were gathering.
That should be it.
He spotted the Academy trainees gathered in front of a building. Among them, he quickly found Yoon-Hee amidst the crowd.
However, rather than pushing through the bustling group of students to greet her since that might embarrass her, he approached the Class B instructor instead.
“Good morning. I’m Lee Do-Jun from the Seoul City Hall’s Fissure Management Division.”
Class B’s instructor, Seo Mu-Kwon, extended a friendly handshake with a warm smile.
“Ah, I heard from Supervisor Kwon that you were filling in for him today. Nice to meet you, my name is Seo Mu-Kwon. Thank you in advance for helping with today’s Fissure class.”
“Nice to meet you as well. I just need to provide information about the Fissure, right?”
“Yes, exactly. Ah, and a Hunter from the Hunter’s Bureau has been invited today. We plan to start as soon as she arrives. Is that alright with you?”
Do-Jun nodded.
Seo Mu-Kwon cleared his throat, then clapped his hands loudly to gather the students’ attention, which was quite effective thanks to the slight mana involvement.
“Attention, everyone. Today, we have the honor of having Supervisor Lee Do-Jun from the Seoul City Hall’s Fissure Management Division with us. Please give him a warm round of applause.”
Most of the students clapped with a lack of enthusiasm.
Though Do-Jun had gained some fame during the S-rank Fissure incident, his name wasn’t publicized due to privacy laws, so only a few people actually knew about him.
“The honor is mine. It’s nice to meet and see all of you bright future Hunters today. If you have any questions about today’s Fissure or any Fissures in general, feel free to ask at any time.”
For a brief moment, Do-Jun made eye contact with Yoon-Hee and gave her a small wave with a smile.
Yoon-Hee, in turn, blushed shyly.
W-wait, what’s with that face?!
It was only a fleeting moment, but Jin-Soo didn’t miss the scene because he had been glancing at Yoon-Hee’s face every other second.
No way...
He shook his head in denial.
1. Ajumma is a title used to refer to married or middle-aged women. Most people hate being mistaken for an “ajumma” as it implies that they look old. ☜
