Chapter 89: Three Versus One!

*Swish!*

“Eh?!”

*BAM!*

“46…”

*BOOM!*

“Bleargh!”

“57…”

“You-‘

*Crack!*

“73…”

Khal was moving around on the platform in flash like a phantom, hitting, smacking, and kicking everyone into oblivion, leaving lying bodies in pits and debris all over the place.

In the beginning, his job was quite easy because every time someone tried to surprise him the only thing he needed to do was to use his Azure Snake Dance to kick or push them before the attacks that were sent at him, but obviously, his opponents were not ‘that’ stupid. As time went on, the times where only one guy tried to ambush him became less and less and his enemies decided to fight him head-on at the same time instead of sending projectiles at him from distance; it was obvious that they used this method to stop Khal using their attacks against them.

However, what they didn’t know that Khal was way more dangerous in close combat against people than long-distance attacks! Thanks to his Heaven’s Eyes, his Diamond Skin around his palms that could crack even bones if he put enough strength behind them, and his mysterious Movement-type Secret Art, he was like the manifestation of a raging spirit and whoever got too close to him ended up being knocked into unconsciousness by a single fist!

Thus, the Cultivators that wanted to ‘beat’ Khal up into a pulp ended up being the ones getting beaten up; it could be even said that they got crushed without mercy!

The sight as Khal dominated close to hundreds of Cultivators that were both on the Second and Third Cultivation Stage made all the spectators hold their breath back and dare not to say a single word more. If at the beginning they thought that what Khal said was foolish arrogance then this time they entirely believed it was pure confidence! Thinking back at his words as he said ‘to save time’ now made even more sense to them!

“H-how can he be this strong with only his Eye Enhancement Talent? And what is that Secret Art even in the first place? It lets him move around his opponents without any warning!”

“I don’t know, but it’s definitely an Expert Level Art if not a Cultivator one! But to think he was able to learn such a powerful Secret Art at such a young age… He is a monster! A freak!”

“Tsk… Why so scared? Can’t you see properly? There are three left on the side, each on the Fourth Cultivation Stage! There is no way he could beat them!” talked suddenly a guy with a snort, causing the people around him to stay silent immediately.

It was because everyone around him suddenly realized that he was right! A Second Stage Cultivator beating 3 Cultivators on the Fourth Stage? What was that, some kind of joke?

However, deep inside everyone’s heart, the suspicion of ‘what if’ never left. Why was that? It was because anyone that was a Cultivator knew that the disparity between Cultivators on the first five Cultivation Stage was not big at all; even a guy with an extremely powerful Talent on the First Cultivation Stage could beat someone with an exceptionally weak Talent on the Fifth Cultivation Stage! Of course, blood sweating struggle and the help of a few Secret Arts must be needed, but it was still a feat that was possible! But something like that was as rare as an ice cube in the middle of the desert and quite hard to achive.

On the other hand, after the Fifth Stage, each Cultivation Stage represented a different realm, so beating someone even a single Stage above you was exceptionally hard, it could be said an impossible task! Only those with an extraordinarily powerful Talent had what it took to challenge someone above them, but even that was considered a suicidal move.

So watching as Khal was about to fight 3 Cultivator on the Fourth Stage, especially after he dominated more than eighty others on the Second and Third Cultivation Stage like they were nothing but mere jokes, people in the spectator seats started to feel that maybe, and just maybe he could truly win in the end; but for that to happen, there was still an extremely low chance.

Because right now, Khal was against not one, but 3 Cultivators on the Fourth Stage!

“Do you think he will be able to win?” asked Liza, her worry and concern visible in her delicate eyes.

Nate on the side leaned forward and after putting his crossed fingers before his mouth he started to ponder. Only a while later did a curve emerge on his mouth and say with assurance, “He certainly will.”

“How do you think so?” asked Liza with surprise as she didn’t expect Nate to answer like that. The composure with he just answered told her to let it be anything, Khal will definitely gain victory!

However, Nate only continued to smile like he just saw something incredibly interesting and said calmly, “Because he still didn’t go all out.”

And just as he said those words…

*Bam!*

“Argh!”

Slamming the last guy standing in the chest powerfully with his palm, which was still covered with his Essence and Diamond Skin, Khal watched as the guy fell unconsciously before his feet, leaving only the three Fourth Stage Cultivators behind.

“And with him, it’s 83… It took me a bit more than I have thought…” exclaimed Khal his thoughts aloud, turning everyone around him so silent that you could hear even a pin drop.

Right now, no one talked and no one laughed, because those words he just said now sounded not arrogant, but facts! Even though he needed close to 15 minutes to beat 96% of his opponents, which could be considered a lot, he was still able to defeat them! And to top it off without receiving any form of injury or wound!

“Haha, you are nuts I give you that!”

As everyone looked at Khal in complete silence as a kind of freak, suddenly the guy with his two friends finally moved and walked toward Khal from the sides.

The one who clapped and talked was a guy in the middle with a sharp chin and small nose; he had short black hair, broad shoulders, and thick thighs with bulging muscles both on his arms and legs. With his height that was above 7 feet, he was the real definition of a real giant!

On his right was a girl with a height only reaching the guy’s chest. She had dark black hair with a bit of a green shade in it, while her emerald green eyes radiated slyness as she looked at Khal with curiosity. With her honey brown skin and slim limbs, she exuded a kind of ‘dangerous’ aura as she walked that even an idiot would notice.

On the other hand, the guy on the left was the complete opposite; he was just as big as the girl on the right, maybe a bit taller, but except for his handsome facial features that even nobles rarely had, he looked completely indifferent. Almost like he thought that all of this fighting was considered nothing more but a waste of time.

As Khal heard the clap and the guy’s voice from the side, he tilted his gaze at him and the two on his side and readied himself; against three Fourth Stage Cultivators, he must not let his guard down no matter what.

The guy seeing as Khal’s complexion turned serious halted his steps and as a wide grin formed on his face, he laughed, “Oh? So serious from the start? Then…”

*BOOM!*

“!?”

Instantly as he said that, a huge battle axe almost as enormous as him appeared before him out of thin air, cracking and smashing the ground below it into dust!
