Craved by the Wrong Volkov-Chapter 131: Punish me
Braelyn’s POV
My breath punched out of me as Lucien dragged me back onto his lap.
One second I was standing, the next his arm was locked around my waist, iron and fire, pulling me flush against him. My back hit his chest, hard enough to make me gasp. Heat bled through the thin barrier of fabric between us, his body was unyieldingly possessive.
I yelped my fingers curling on the edges of his suit. Fear struck me at once, noticing how dark his eyes were, as if he were teetering on the edge.
His scent wrapped around me a chaotic mix of whisky, smoke, something dark and unmistakably him. My heart slammed wildly as it started to race once that evil smirk that was out to wreck me graced his lips. I knew he could feel it.
His fingers came under my chin, lifting my face with deliberate slowness. Not gentle nor was his touch rough either. His fingers carried a controlled precision digging into my chin like he was containing something violent just beneath the surface.
I swallowed and shuddered from the cold intensity of his gaze. His breath fanned slowly against the shell of my ears then a devious voice sneaked in carrying jolts through my spine that frightened me and yet something twisted started to brew in my stomach that made me clench my legs
"Tell me," he murmured against my ear with a low voice, "why were you acting so naughty tonight?"
My heartbeat jumped violently, skipping a traitorous beat, and my grip tightened on his shirt. I struggled to find the words. His gaze looked like he could literally gobble me up.
"Do you know what you were doing?" he tilted my chin higher. "Or were you just asking to be punished, Viper?"
His cold voice spat in barely restrained anger. I haven’t seen him this mad before. My head screamed as I darted around trying to find an escape.
He noticed my micro expression and pulled me closer. His teeth playfully dug into the tips of my ears. I whimpered, then shot him a glare that immediately melted once I met those icy hazel eyes, which were still mad at me.
I forced out a laugh trying to hide the fact that I was completely shaken by him
"Naughty?" I breathed, the word barely holding together as it left my lips.
A smirk curved at the corner of my mouth, mirroring his expression. Our eyes mirrored each other. He leaned down, our breaths mingled with our noses brushing. He didn’t let go of my chin.
"You tell me," he murmured, with his eyes filled with amusement as he watched every micro reaction. Watching how he affected me. "Do you even know what you were doing tonight?"
His voice slid down my spine like chilled metal. My pulse jumped erratically, heat pooling low in my belly despite the tension coiling tight in my chest.
"I was ending the meeting," I said softly, though my fingers fisted in his shirt as if on instinct. "It worked."
A low sound left him. It was a laugh, half amusement, half anger.
"You let another man think he could touch you. You danced to his music Viper." His breath brushed my skin. "That’s what you did."
My lips parted before I could stop myself. Touch what’s mine, unsaid but heavy between us. I wasn’t his but this twisted feeling of being wanted even though it was by the wrong man, the wrong Volkov.
"And that’s what you’re angry about?" I asked, turning my head slightly, close enough that my lips almost grazed his jaw. To tease him back.
His arm tightened instantly.
"Careful, Viper."
My body pressed back into him, betraying me. Fear crawled through me, yes but there was something else. Excitement and curiosity curled around it. That twisted feeling made me react in ways I shouldn’t. Like hell I shouldn’t be sitting on my husband’s uncle’s lap
It was wrong but it felt right. "I am not scared of you Lucien...I did you a favour." I taunted back. He sucked in a breath.
Lucien let go of my jaw and grabbed my thighs parting them and pulling me against him. My legs were parted across his waist. My core is close to the metallic buckle of his belt. He wasn’t hard yet but I could still feel that size. My eyes went wide a flicker of fear travelled through them
He hissed and his voice came out as a low growl. "You should be mad.." that sent shivers down my spine. I had really crossed the line.
"A second more I would have done something we would both regret. Don’t push me, Braelyn. If not, this twisted game will end, and I will show what true obsession is like..." He threatened, my toes curled with my breath going ragged
Yes, I was afraid. Like hell he scared me but that madness.
That possessive tendency...the obvious obsession. The primal cravings that filled his eyes drove me nuts. I had never felt something like that and I almost said he should show me what he meant
But I knew I would regret that. It wasn’t just an obsession but madness. A very unhealthy feeling that would only destroy me
Raphael was right. Lucien was going to ruin me but I was already ruined. I couldn’t get out of this hole but fell deeper into the insanity.
Was I also crazy for wanting something this twisted?
"Lucien.." I whispered breathless. Something shifted in him. He grabbed my hair tugging it back, his face nestled in my neck. His hot lips pressed on a spot under my neck ..a spot that always made my eyes go black
I moaned as the warmth started rushing downwards. "Don’t call my name that way or I will take the wheels from you.." he gasped before adding in a low voice
A very low warning. "Once I take control there is no going back. I don’t want to wreck you...Yet" I could barely hear him. But it felt like he was warning himself.
I wondered what exactly made him this obsessed. My eyes darkened for a moment. I reminded him of someone he couldn’t let go of. He was clinging desperately to me because of that
That was enough reason to put up my boundaries. I didn’t care...this wasn’t love, just cravings, because I didn’t know if I would ever be able to love someone after Raphael. He killed my heart.
"You need to get punished, viper." He said hoarsely.
I gulped then licked my lips. "So... what punishment were you thinking of?"
