Chapter 232: Chapter 232: My Wife Actually Said She Likes Someone Else

Henry Hughes was even more surprised after hearing Mia Sutton say she knew everyone in his group. He hadn’t expected that she would pay attention to them.

Mia Sutton looked at his surprised expression, chuckled, and said, "Do you misunderstand the popularity of your group? You have so many fans, it’s not surprising that I know about you."

Henry Hughes scratched his head, chuckled sheepishly, and said, "Oh, right."

...

Seeing Henry Hughes having a seemingly happy conversation with Mia Sutton, some boys nearby couldn’t resist and quickly gathered around Mia Sutton and Amanda Summers, merging into one group. Soon, the room was full of chatter.

"Ms. Sutton, we really like your work, especially the last part. It was amazing! You have no idea how shocked everyone was," a boy said.

The next moment, he took out a notebook, which seemed to have been prepared in advance, and handed it to Mia Sutton with an expectant look, "Ms. Sutton, can you sign this for me?"

Mia Sutton agreed readily, signed the notebook, and handed it back to him. Seeing this, Henry Hughes immediately asked Mia Sutton to sign for him too.

He had just become a fan of an idol and now could get her autograph. He was overjoyed.

Henry Hughes: "Big sister Mia Sutton, could you add a message for me?"

Mia Sutton looked up: "Sure, what message?"

"Just write: ’Hope Henry Hughes keeps fighting and achieves his goals soon.’"

Mia Sutton happily agreed when she heard this. He called her big sister, so it had to be arranged.

Mia Sutton even added a special ’to’ signature, followed by a very cute heart drawing.

Henry Hughes watched her write, his eyes sparkling with admiration, a true fanboy. When Mia Sutton handed it to him, Henry Hughes jumped up in excitement: "Big sister Mia Sutton, I really like you!"

Outside the door, Jensen Sterling heard this, and his already dark eyes grew even deeper, his lips pressing tightly together. A nearby staff member hesitantly asked, "Mr. Sterling, is something wrong?"

Jensen Sterling waved his hand: "Nothing, thank you for showing me the way, you can go back to work."

The staff member said it was no trouble and left, still confused, wondering why Jensen Sterling would come to the dressing room of some boy groups and girl groups.

Meanwhile, inside the dressing room, Mia Sutton laughed with curved eyebrows after hearing Henry Hughes’s words: "I like you too."

Just as she finished speaking, the dressing room door was pushed open, and everyone ceased talking, their gaze uniformly directed at the door, staring in shock at the man standing there. The room fell silent, pupils trembling in surprise.

The man was still wearing his event clothes, but his jacket was draped over his arm. His gaze fell on the dressing room, eyes brooding, unreadable.

The reactions in the room were almost identical: Mom, who am I, where am I, and why is Jensen Sterling at the door of the idol’s dressing room?

Mia Sutton was even more stupefied, a big question mark hovering over her head. What was going on? Why would Mr. Sterling appear at the door of their dressing room? Shouldn’t he have his own dressing room?

Jensen Sterling’s gaze slowly met Mia Sutton’s, but quickly shifted away, and he stepped inside.

As he entered, everyone stood up and politely greeted him: "Hello, senior."

No matter how popular they were, Jensen Sterling was in a different league, so as he came in, they all respectfully called him senior.

Jensen Sterling entered with a smile and said warmly, "There’s a problem with my dressing room, mind if I stay here for a while?"

Although he seemed polite, no one dared to refuse, and they all agreed with smiles.

The man then sat down graciously, saying, "Please, continue what you were saying, pretend I’m not here, don’t be formal."

Everyone responded with smiles: "We’re delighted that Mr. Sterling is here, we won’t be formal."

However, in reality, they thought: How could we not be formal? You’re like a great Buddha sitting there; anyone would feel formal.

So after that, they spoke less, returning to their seats quietly, mostly passing time on their phones.

Only then did Mia Sutton pick up her phone again and saw Jensen Sterling’s message for her.

Mia Sutton: "..."

Recalling what she was doing earlier, she wondered why she missed Jensen Sterling’s message.

Thinking back... well, she was busy chatting with the younger guys, completely ignoring her phone.

She quickly replied to Jensen Sterling: "Mr. Sterling, I didn’t see it earlier." She even added a crying puppy emoji.

Then she looked up and met Jensen Sterling’s gaze, lightly shaking her phone, tapping the screen twice, indicating for him to check his phone.

Jensen Sterling watched the young girl’s actions, capturing every expression from when she picked up her phone to when she saw the message. He noticed her discreetly signaling him.

Finally, he slowly picked up his phone, under Mia Sutton’s nervous gaze, and casually glanced at it, before slowly typing and sending: "Got it."

After seeing the message, Mia Sutton continued typing: "Mr. Sterling, why did you come here?" 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞

Could he have come specifically to find her? Because the excuse of a problem with his dressing room seemed unlikely. Someone of Jensen Sterling’s caliber would have a private space; how could something go wrong casually?

Could it be he came just because she didn’t reply to his message? This thought briefly crossed Mia Sutton’s mind, surprising even herself. Could she really have such pull?

But apart from this reason, she couldn’t think of any other explanation as to why Jensen Sterling would be here.

Mia Sutton looked over at Jensen Sterling, who glanced at his phone, fingers tapping on the screen, but... seconds passed and she looked down at her phone—no message?

Then she saw Jensen Sterling stand up from his seat, saying, "Everyone, I’m leaving because my manager’s here."

As he passed by Henry Hughes, he paused, and Henry was unsure what was happening but felt a strong pressure coming towards him.

Just as he was about to ask Jensen Sterling what was wrong, the man slowly turned to face Mia Sutton, sitting across from him, and said softly, "Mia, come with me, Cameron Grant says your manager is looking for you."
