Chaos In The Darkness; Salvatores's Salvation-Chapter 227: The breakfast - II
Slowly with arabella in her arms, Evelyn made her way to the dining table where the baby’s high chair was already present along with three other men who were almost four times the size and age of her daughter.
"Hello," Arabella shyly her hand to all three of them before face planting herself into the boob of her mother.
"Hello, pretty girl," Dante cooed and waved his hand. "Would you like to try the pancakes I made?"
"You did’t make them!" The activation was shot out just as Arabella did. Her little baby had her hands on her waist and justice would prevail.
"Who did then?"
"I did! With mummy!" She shrieked in anger but the smile on her face was unmistakable to recognise.
"Ohh," Dante nodded, then put his finger on his chair and imitated the universal thinking position, "I’m not sure what I made but I did make something."
"What?" Arabella asked, extremely into the conversation. By now, Evelyn had settled her daughter into the high chair which is in between her and Salvatore’s chair.
"I think I made this.." he pulled out a chocolate from his pocket and slid it onto the table, "I am I give it to the niece that calls me the best uncle."
Arabella glanced at it. "Won’t that be bad, Mummy?"
"Ahem, mummy can get diamonds if she has a favourite brother in law. Ahem." Dante coughed under his breath and appeared to be saying something that Evelyn caught making her laugh under her breath.
Arabella pouted and appeared to be thinking about it but Salvatore knocked on the tray of her chair.
"How about you think about it while eating?" He offered. "I want to taste the pancakes you made."
Bella’s expression visibly brightened up. "Yes, yes! Mummy give him some!"
Getting the high on her daughter’s enthusiasm, Evelyn grabbed the plate overflowing with pancakes and placed 3 on salvatore’s plate and one on Arabella’s before passing them to the other two.
"Ma’am," Michelle did not take the plate rather just kept on holding. "Please."
For a quick second, she continued to stare at him in confusion before she realised what he was talking about.
She took the plate back from him and placed two pancakes on her plate before handing it back to him and this time he took it.
Abandoning her food like she had done many times before, she cut Arabella’s food into small pieces and only when her daughter has started to eat, did she finally begin.
"Umm," the toddler started to move side to side, "tis yummy!"
"It is," Dante winked, "the best. I think I should hire you as my full time chef."
Bella giggled and placed another bite in her mouth before she began eating again.
Except for the occasional components that Dante kept on making, the rest of the time was spent in eating silently.
When they were done with the pancakes and the additional breakfast that had been brought out, Evelyn excused myself along with Arabella.
She stopped when she reached the room of a daughter where her manny was standing. Iona greeted her with the deep bow but did not use any words and let the mother and daughter enjoy the solitude together.
"So," Evelyn meet her daughter set on the chair that was in her closet (room) and smiled with a sly smile, "what would my child like to wear?"
"Where? Are we going out?"
Evelyn nodded. "We’re going to the mall to buy pretty clothes and many toys for you." Something that she had not been able to do before but now had the power to buy the entire Mall.
"Toys?" Bella gasped before she toned down. "How many?"
Her smile faltered. What kind of life had she been living and what kind of life had she given her daughter?
"Any," she kissed her baby’s cheek, kneeling in front of her. "You want ten or you want 100 to ys, I will get you everything."
Hope gathered in the eyes of a daughter and once she was showing that her mother was not lying, a bright smile graced her face. "Really?"
Evelyn nodded, not being able to contain her smile.
"Then I want pink and green!"
Evelyn’s smile faltered again, "Pink and green?" She repeated after her child. Passing a quick look to Iona who nodded, Evelyn nodded back to her child. "Let’s get started."

Wearing a green shirt with pink pants and pink bows in her hair, Arabella walked downstairs with her mother dressed in the same pink colour.
"Ah," Dante’s voice was quite loud which scared her daughter making her jumper slightly. "Oh my god, Angels have descended from heaven!’
"Really?" Arabella excitedly looked around. "Where?"
Dante stammered and looked at Evelyn for a reply who smiled at him and said, "she is too young for that."
"But she has quite a good vocabulary."
That she agreed with. And if she looked at the reason maybe it was because she had never baby talked Arabella.
"She does." Evelyn agreed.
"Mall now?" The toddler tugged on her mother’s dress, "please?"
"Alright," taking her hands in hers, Evelyn helped her down the stairs. "Let’s go.’
When they were just down the stairs and neared Dante, they heard, "psst."
Evelyn stopped and so did her daughter. Dante step forward and stood beside them and it was then Evelyn noticed the small chocolate peeking out of his hand.
"Take it," he hissed to Arabella who scrunched up her nose.
"You are a stranger." She hissed back, but more Curiously.
"I know your father."
"Who?" Arabella’s head whipped to Evelyn. "Papa?"
Evelyn’s eyes bulged out and she glared at Dante who suddenly looked at the ceiling finding more interesting than anything else.
"I have a papa?" The little sniff at the end caught her attention and Evelyn panicked internally. How was she supposed to tell the child that her real father was six feet under The ground by the courtesy of ger new one?
"Well," Dante threw the chocolate at her, making her capture it before he made a beeline to the exit, "Salvatore is in his office!"
