It was time for the next phase of this curling...

The rules were easy enough to understand, eliminate your opponent as fast as possible.

Make sure you’re among the last 100 still standing..

"Begin!!" At the sound of her voice, the battle began..

It was no surprise when more than 10 people surged towards me first.

Their intent was clear, get rid of the trash before focusing on worthy opponents.

Yet before I could bother to make a move..

Slowly their cries died down yet just before they could succumb to the after life, a golden glow covered their charred bodies as they were swiftly teleported outside the arena..

The healers on standby rushing towards the disfigured bodies and beginning to perform their designated tasks...

Back in the arena, as the haze of the flames died down, I could see Micheal standing right at the former location of the previous participants..

"Yawn.... You didn’t have to do that you know? I had it all covered" I yawned. Uninterested in whatever third rate villain monologue he had planned...

"Hehehe.. don’t worry, no one’s allowed to touch you. I’m going to make sure I take my time with you, after all, Cara isn’t here to save you anymore .. hahahahahaha" he cackled maniacally..

But all I heard was Cara isn’t here anymore..

"She left?" I couldn’t help asking..

"Oho, what’s this? Missing the woman who used you and dumped you for nothing?" His gloating voice irritated me to no end..

"Just answer the goddamn question" I was getting annoyed..

"Hehe.. yes she left. As for where? That’s none of your business now is it?" His smug expression was practically asking to be punched.

"I can see you’re angry. Good. You’ll need all the motivation you can get for when I’m ready Teach you a lesson, as for now, just sit there and watch." He left, cackling as his entire body went up in flames, the temperature shooting to unbelievable degrees..

The other participants had to call of their squabbles and team up to face the monster coming for them..

I just stayed back and watched. Mind already spinning in dizzying circles about how I was going to make this fucker pay..
