The first thing that caught my eye was the high energy count...

"Seems that final burning of mana crystals increased my chaos energy reserves quite a bit, added with what I got from the dragon..." I whistled, that was quite a lot...

With that much energy, I’d have no worries about running out of juice mid battle again, unless of course I faced something way out of my league....again...

"Heh..not that I’m complaining, I mean just look at the returns.."

I shifted my attention away from the energy count, moving on, i spotted my new line up of talents and I must say..

"Looking good" the stack up was utterly unfair..

With <Chaotic Denial> and <Abyssal Firmament Dominion> I was set for the foreseeable future, as for the other two S-ranked talents, their evolutionary requirements were kept at the back of my mind, once I’m in Aeternum, they’d be the first agenda on my list..

One by one I inspected all my attributes..

My stats that had gone up after ranking up, the absurd amount of free attributes just waiting for me to splurge and then last but not least, the elephants in the room..

The system had aptly changed our names to the real ones...

"Melissandre huh.." I couldn’t help chuckling at that, "I wonder what her reaction will be like when I call her that instead of Melissa?" The thought of her shocked and confused expression amused me to no end..

No, I wasn’t bothered. It was merely a change in their names..

For the fact that the system acknowledged them as my partners, it meant their feelings were genuine, what use have I for names?

That said tho..

I didn’t answer, merely pulled her into bed with me...

"It doesn’t matter how ridiculous it gets" I said slowly, as her head rested softly on my chest, the warmth of her body grounding me...

"All that matters is that now, I have something to use and make them pay.."

"And pay, aunt v, they shall.." I said, eyes glowing..

"Alright then, I’m guessing that means, you’re confident about the trials tomorrow.."

"Tomorrow?" I asked Voice dripping contempt..

"Forget tomorrow aunt v, the entire Aeternum examination is about to get hit by a storm never seen before.."
