CEO's Reborn Wife-Chapter 2049 - 2057: What Nonsense Are You Talking About?
This time, the car stopped in the courtyard. Jane Sampson recognized the sound and stood up excitedly. She didn’t dare to go to the doorway; she could only stand in front of the living room sofa, eagerly looking toward the doorway.
Old Master Black entered the door first, followed by Bright Sampton holding the urn, and Peter Gingery came in last, quickly closing the main gate. The Aunt stood by the window, keeping watch.
Jane Sampson watched Bright Sampton walk in slowly, head down, clutching the box in his arms tightly, just like a marionette, without any of his usual liveliness.
"Bright," Jane said, her heart aching as she walked toward him, calling out, "I’m here. I’m okay."
At the sound of Jane calling his name, Bright Sampton’s body stiffened instantly.
The hand holding the urn visibly trembled, almost dropping the urn in his arms.
A few seconds later, Bright Sampton lifted his eyes to look at the person standing in front of him.
With just one glance, Bright Sampton suddenly burst into tears.
"Sister? Sister!"
As if not believing his eyes, Bright Sampton, with one hand holding the box in his arms, reached out the other to rub his eyes and then poked Jane Sampson’s cheek, feeling the tangible person in front of him, sensing Jane Sampson’s body temperature, and his cries became even more uncontrollable.
"I thought you were gone, that you left me~" Bright Sampton cried, aggrieved like a three-year-old, "I haven’t even had the chance to take care of you like you did for me when I was little, Sis, you made me so sad."
Crying and crying, Bright Sampton suddenly broke into a smile, "Sis is still alive, Sis, it’s so good that you’re still alive!"
"I’m not mad at you for making me sad these few days. As long as you’re alive, I’m happy." Bright Sampton looked at Jane Sampson like a pitiful child, "Sis, I don’t care, you have to live to 100 years old, you have to become like an Old Immortal, I’ve cried all my tears for you these days. When I’m old, you’ll have to send me off and shed the tears for me."
"What nonsense are you saying?" Jane Sampson raised her hand and knocked Bright Sampton on the head, "I’m older than you, I’d be the one to go first, who’s going to cry for you?"
"I don’t care, everyone once, that’s fair," Bright Sampton said with evident displeasure as he spoke and pulled Jane Sampson’s pajama sleeve, using it as a handkerchief to wipe his tears.
"Bright Sampton! Even now, do you believe I have the strength to hit you?" Jane Sampson stepped back with a very disdainful look.
Usually such a lovely, endearing younger brother, such a polite and clean young man. Jane Sampson knew that Bright Sampton was doing it on purpose, knowing she had a slight cleanliness obsession, so he purposely did this to tease her as revenge.
After all, she made him sad for so many days.
"You wouldn’t bear to," Bright Sampton retorted smoothly, "Who made me your brother, the only brother in this world."
"Yes, yes, whatever you say is what it is," Jane Sampson replied, "If it weren’t for the fact that you were so sad, I definitely wouldn’t let you have your way."
The young siblings made quite a ruckus, listening to their antics brought laughter to Elder Black and Peter Gingery next to them.
Though they were without blood ties, they were closer than siblings in an ordinary family.
Only between siblings could one speak without any reservations like this.
