Chapter 318: Mystery

The party is almost over and no one has found Beethoven yet and everyone is already getting worried. Even though Beethoven is almost as big as an adult labrador, he is still considered a puppy by age and they know for a fact that even if he can’t get out of the property, it is still possible for him to get hurt since Henry’s land is vast.

Once the party ends, everyone decides to combine their efforts and search for Beethoven. The presence of a stream and woodland poses potential dangers for any animal, making it even more urgent to find him.

Jena had cried so much that she eventually fell asleep in Henry’s arms. Only Jayson remained awake, but he was also starting to yawn frequently.

Amy suggested to Jayson, "Why don’t you stay in Jena’s room and take care of her while Uncle Henry and I help the others search for Beethoven?" Fortunately, Jayson agreed without any objections.

As Amy and Henry headed to the backyard, they were delightfully surprised to find Rei and Sandra with Beethoven. The dog was covered in mud but looked incredibly happy, sticking his tongue out and wagging his tail with excitement.

"Where did you find him?" Ash inquired, petting the mischievous dog with a smile.

Rei let out a sigh and explained, "We found him in the back of my house, playing in my mini fish pond. He had taken out all the koi and declared the fish pond as his own territory. Unfortunately, all my koi are dead." Rei facepalmed himself, he don’t know if he will laugh or cry. He could not help but be impressed by the Labrador retriever’s ability to retrieve all the fish from the pond and stack them up in one spot.

"I will give him a bath since I might not be able to visit often due to my busy schedule at the construction site. You might want to consider hiring a caretaker for him since Jayson and Jena are still young to take care of him all by themselves," Ash suggested.

"Amy, I would suggest you hire his previous dogsitter since Beethoven likes him," Ava recommended.

"Alright, can you arrange it for me and inform Charles and Demi so they can make the arrangement," Amy replied. She then turned to Henry and said, "Let us go, I prepared something for you."

Henry did not ask any questions and obediently followed Amy. He had been eagerly waiting for this moment – to be alone with her. However, he slightly frowned and wondered where Amy was taking him when she led them away from the mansion instead of heading to their bedroom. Despite his curiosity, Henry kept himself calm and simply observed his wife, curious about her intentions.

As they go further away from everyone and head towards the woods he can no longer keep his mouth shut, his curiosity is just killing him.

"Where are we going?" Henry tersely asked.

Amy, who was walking in front of him just spared him a quick glance with a flirty smile and said nothing.

’Oooh, mystery, I am liking this!’ Henry whispered to himself, trying to conceal his mischievous grin. He had a hunch about Amy’s plan based on her smile, but the exact location remained a riddle he was eager to solve.

"Are we going to the stream?" he asked, feeling the excitement building within him. His heart raced with anticipation, finding Amy’s silence alluring and filled with so many possibilities.

When Amy turned right, confirming their path to the stream, Henry’s smirk grew wider. The stream held significant memories for both of them, and he knew this evening was going to be unforgettable once more.

As they drew nearer, Henry noticed warm lights illuminating the area. To his surprise, a glamorous tent setup greeted his eyes, resembling more of a luxurious resort accommodation than a simple tent by the stream.

"I hope you like glamping, my love. I have been wanting to try this for a while now," Amy finally spoke, causing Henry to shift his gaze toward her.

"Yes, yes, I love it. I love everything that you love," Henry replied, making Amy laugh.

"What is wrong with you, Henry? You are too excited," she teased.

"I told you, I have been excited ever since I saw you earlier, so..." Henry’s words trailed off as he watched Amy head towards the stream, reaching for the string strap on the back of her dress. His eyes widened, realizing that this romantic evening was about to become even more memorable.

Henry just stood on his spot and watches her pull down her clothes and remove her shoes. His tongue licked his teeth and lips while his hands are on his waist, looking at his wife’s bare butt cheeks since she was wearing a black thong before removing it completely.

Amy shrieked and jumped when her feet got into the water, "Cold, cold, cold!" Before completely submerging into the deep part of the stream. When she found a good spot, she turned around and said to Henry, "It is really cold in here, are you not going to keep your horny wife warm and will just stand there and stare at me?"

Henry turned his gaze to the glamorous tent looking for something, until he found it. He went to the folding chair just outside it and took a towel that was folded neatly, before going to the stream.

"Come here, the weather is too cold. I do not want you to get sick," Henry worriedly said as he prepare the towel to wrap around Amy.

Amy pouted, ’What the hell? I am naked and is he saying no?’ she asked herself.

"Do not get me wrong, love, I really want to be with you right now, but I want you to be safe as well. Come, let us stay by the fire instead," Henry gently urged Amy.

Amy did not protest anymore and stepped out of the water, shivering as the cold wind touched her naked body. She now agreed with Henry that the weather was indeed chilly.

Henry quickly covered her up with the towel and led her to the cozy setup with a seagrass carpet, throw pillows, and a blanket. He poured a glass of wine and handed it to her, saying, "Here, drink this. It will help you warm up."

"Henry..." Amy uttered while looking at her hand and wine glass resting on her lap.

"Hmm?"

"What if I never conceive again? Will you still love me?" Amy instantly regretted asking that question after seeing Henry purse his lips. She knew what he would answer, and it felt like a foolish question.

"Amy... love..." Henry gently tucked her hair behind her ears and cupped her face. "Having a baby with you is just a bonus. You, alone, in my life is already like winning a lottery. I am lucky to have you with or without children. We already have children, remember?" he reassured her.

"I know, but I am already getting worried. We have been trying for months and yet we are not getting successful at it. There is nothing wrong with us so what is the problem then?" Amy said while her eyes are starting to well up with strong emotions.

"Do not be impatient, my love. Jayson and Jena are still young anyway. Let us enjoy them for the meantime while Jena’s cry is still cute," Henry joked, trying to lighten the mood.

Amy shed a single tear but couldn’t help but laugh. As always, Henry knew how to melt her worries away. Their love and bond were stronger than any obstacles they faced.

"Come here, sit on my lap. Let me warm you up, perhaps it’s just the cold speaking. You will feel better when you are finally warm," Henry suggested, cradling Amy on his lap like a child.

She stared at him as he pour himself a glass of wine. She is just completely mesmerized by this man. Whatever sadness or worry she has, he would always do a good job of erasing them away.

"Henry..." Amy called as she watch him drink from his glass.

Henry put down the wine before looking at her, "I love you, Henry," Amy blurted before gently touching his cheek and sealing his lips with hers.

He was not able to reply but Amy felt him smile. She loves him so much that it hurts. It feels like her heart would burst because of the overwhelming affection that she has for this man.

Amy tightens her hug around his neck, never wanting to let him go. Her mouth kissed him aggressively and her hand unbuttoned his vest and shirt shamelessly. The fire burning within her that dissipated in the coldness of the stream, is burning with rage once more.

As much as she wanted to blame her hormones tonight for the strong desire she is feeling for him right now, she knows that she would just be lying to herself. She always feel like this for him, even on the first day they met. Their attraction to each other is just incredibly strong, something that doesn’t happen to everyone.
