CEO's Contract Obsession-Chapter 287: Say No More

After Ash calmed his excitement, he began recounting his history to Ava, explaining why he became excessively thrilled.

"Do you recall when I mentioned that my father wanted me to marry Amy?" Ash asked Ava, who nodded in agreement. He continued, "The truth is, he wanted her land and what’s underneath, not Amy."

Ava’s jaw dropped, displaying her disbelief, although it was not a novel revelation to her since she had already heard about it from Amy and Rei. However, she chose to feign ignorance of those details to prevent hurting Ash’s feelings.

"In the past, he declared that he would only pass on the CEO position to me if I married Amy. I had already abandoned that dream, but now, it’s time to revive it," Ash voiced, causing a frown to appear on Ava’s face.

"Rekindle your dream to marry Amy and become the CEO?!" Ava exclaimed, puzzled.

After staring at Ava for a moment, Ash couldn’t contain his amusement anymore and burst into laughter. Although Ava was usually open-minded and intelligent, today she seemed to be struggling to hide her jealousy, which was still managing to resurface.

"What’s so funny?!" Ava asked, annoyance very obvious in her voice.

"Hon, you should have seen your face. Even though I enjoy seeing you jealous, I want you to know that marrying Amy is no longer on my mind now that I have you. Do you understand what I’m trying to say?" Ash replied.

"What did you just call me?" Ava inquired, her forehead still deeply furrowed.

"Is that the only thing you caught from what I said, Hon?" Ash repeated the term of endearment.

Ava slowly relaxed her facial expression, but her displeasure remained clear as she asked, "Hon, as in Honey?"

"Do you not like it? I never really thought about that word before. It just came out naturally. I suppose it’s because that’s what my heart desires, so it effortlessly flows from my lips," Ash explained attentively, observing Ava’s emotions unfold.

She pursed her lips and sighed, "I’m sorry, sometimes I just feel insecure knowing that Amy still holds your heart and I couldn’t immm–"

Ash silenced Ava’s lips with an aggressive kiss. He was aware that Amy still occupied a place in his heart, but the sensation felt different now, no longer classified as love. It no longer pained him to hear her name or see her picture.

While he still cared about Amy’s safety, the longing he once felt for her had vanished. He remained protective of her, but the desire to be with her was gone.

In moments when he is alone, whether at work or at home, Ash’s thoughts were consumed by Ava. Her smiling face constantly invaded his mind, even during important tasks or conversations with others. Sometimes he found himself smiling without realizing it, only for others to point it out.

The impact Ava had on him was something he never anticipated experiencing without Amy in his life. Yet, here he was, not only willing to fall in love with the woman before him but also urging himself to embrace it wholeheartedly.

His hands started to roam around Ava’s body, wanting to feel more of her. Their kiss is just not enough for the feeling that he has for her that is currently increasing in intensity.

One of his hands slipped into her t-shirt, something that she always wears at home matched with her very short shorts, showcasing her long slender legs. His hand grazed her side then her back moving upwards toward a specific destination and goal.

His other hand held her head in place as he devour her mouth, dipping his tongue in, tasting the sweetness she can offer.

When his roaming hand reached Ava’s back, he skillfully snapped the hooks of her bra freeing the treasures that he was after. And from her back, without further ado, his hand found its way to her mound, gently brushing the back of his hand to its soft and smooth skin. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮

"Ash..." Ava weakly murmured as the hairs on her back raise up.

"Shhh..." Ash murmured, putting his thumb on her lips while his other hand was busy rolling and pinching her nipple with his two fingers.

"Say no more, Ava. You are the only woman in my life now. And I intend to keep it that way. What can I do to wash away all those insecurities of yours, Hon?" Ash whispered with a hoarse voice while his lips traveled to her neck and kiss it gently and softly.

Ava’s breathing is becoming erratic, she can feel Ash’s breath on her skin and it’s making her body feel hot. Her heartbeat is becoming fast and she’s losing all her self-control with every touch from Ash.

Ava’s mind was in utter disarray as Ash continued to lick and suck her neck while both his hands are caressing her body back and front. She didn’t even remember that Ash was asking her a question.

When Ava didn’t say a word, Ash repeated his question. "You didn’t answer me, Ava. I said, what can I do to wash away all those insecurities of yours, Hon?" He really wants to make Ava feel secure by his side.

When he committed to a relationship with her, he is genuinely sure about his decision. No matter what happens, he will not turn his back on her.

His two hands soon join each other below Ava’s navel and unbuttoned her shorts before unzipping them. Ava didn’t stop him and just let Ash do whatever he desires.

But then he stopped.

Ava opened her eyes when she felt him slightly move back and saw him looking intensely at her.

"Ava, I know how to help you feel more secure in our relationship. Will you promise to listen and not react negatively?" Ash asked in hesitation.

"Ok, I promise. As long as it doesn’t involve killing people or me going to jail, I promise to not react negatively," Ava said, utterly perplexed.

"Move in with me," Ash swiftly said.

"What?!"
