Chapter 158: Healthy

Princess Teimei walked towards the fifth Princess who was smiling.

"Did you wait long?" Princess Teimei asked as she looked at the fifth Princess who stood there with her lady in waiting and her guard. Princess Teimei’s eyes moved towards the two before settling on the fifth Princess again.

"No." Princess Cassandra laughed as she smiled. "Are they coming with us too?" Princess Cassandra asked as she looked at the people behind Princess Teimei.

Princess Teimei laughed as she looked back. "Yes, brother wanted to come as well and then Lord Bentham decided to join."

"Princess Cassandra’s lips curled up as her gaze turned towards the Lord. "You should have told me before that you are coming. I would have packed something warm for you too. Should I send Amy to get something?"

Lord Bentham shook his head. "No, it was planned in a hurry, but I do have warm clothes with me. I hope the Princess has gotten something warm for herself."

Princess Cassandra nodded before Princess Teimei’s words came into her ears. "You both are truly in love. You care so much for one another. We are just going to visit snow filled mountain."

Princess Cassandra smiled but did not reply. It was a few days ago that Princess Teimei came to her and told her that she would like to visit snow filled mountain. Kir mountain. Princess Teimei had held Princess Cassandra’s hand as she asked her to join.

Princess Casandra knew very well that Princess Teimei would not leave her unless she would agree. When Princess Cassandra agreed it was then Princess Teimei left her.

"It looks like Princess Cassandra did not want me to join?" Prince Carl asked as he raised his eyebrows.

Princess Cassandra’s eyes moved towards the Prince who had not talked to her a lot since she came here. Cassandra did not understand what he was planning on doing but she knew that the Prince was expecting some reaction out of her.

"Of course not." Princess Cassandra smiled. But she thought as she asked Lord Bentham through her thoughts.

[Is anyone else coming with us?]

Lord Bentham replied. [Yes, my father, the Grand Duke. But he will be there ahead of time.]

Princess Cassandra’s eyes shook. The man had killed her birth mother. [It looks like they are all ready to wake Princess Elvira up.]

Although the Lord did not reply, Princess Cassandra knew that what she was thinking was right. It was then that the fifth Princess decided to not say anything else and walked up to the carriage.

As Princess Cassandra sat she saw Princess Teimei walking up to her. She came up and sat in front of her with a smile. "We should share a carriage. I missed sharing a carriage with you when we went on a picnic. It was Lord Bentham who took the chance from me. Now I do not want to miss it."

Princess Cassandra’s eyes blurred but she did not refuse. Cassandra knew what Princess Teimei wanted. She simply smiled as she looked outside.

Slowly the carriage started to move. Princess Cassandra, who was enjoying the view, suddenly turned as she looked at Princess Teimei. "Why did you suddenly decide to go out? That too in a colder place?"

Princess Teimei shrugged her shoulders. "I haven’t visited a cold place in a while, and the summers have started. I was planning to visit the Kir mountains anyway but then I remembered that you love to see nature." Princess Teimei’s voice turned low. "And I even knew that you would not have seen snow in the Elvira Empire so I invited you as well. Why? You didn’t want to come?"

Princess Cassandra looked at Princess Teimei’s sorrow filled gaze as she shook her head. "No. I was just curious.

Soon the silence spread as only the moving carriages’ noise was heard. When Princess Cassandra looked out again, she could see Duke Salvador walking near her carriage along with the soilers. Cassandra smiled but Princess Teimei’s next question brought her back.

"Why is the Princess wearing long hand clothes?" Princess Teimei raised her eyebrows in question. "It is summer."

Princess Cassandra looked down as she folded her head. Her eyes were filled with embellishment as she looked at Princess Teimei. "But aren’t we going to a colder place? I am afraid of the cold." Princess Cassandra rubbed her hands.

Princess Teimei’s eyes flicked towards the fifth Princess’s wrist that was exposed due to the movement. Princess Teimei could still see some marks of her seal on it. It was then that she was sure that the fifth Princess had not grown stronger.

"Your health has improved." Princess Teimei said with a smile on her face. "You look more lively and healthy."

Princess Cassandra nodded. "Yes, it was all thanks to you all. The nutritious food that you have given me did help a lot."

Princess Teimei looked out as she saw a mountain filled with the show. Although there was time for them to reach, Princess Teimei knew that her chance to act was here. Princess Teimei looked around as she found a small jar in her belongings.

As Princess Teimei opened it, a smile formed on her face. Shining blue candies in the shape of crystals were kept in the jar, along with all the other candies. Princess Teimei took the blue crystal candy as she offered it to the fifth Princess.

"You should eat this. This is the specialty of our Vivere Kingdom. You have to put it in your mouth as a whole." Princess Teimei said as her eyes glittered with excitement.

Princess Cassandra had no choice but to take it in her hand. She looked at it before saying, "What is this?"

"It’s a candy. You will like it." Princess Teimei enlarged the fifth Princess to eat as she herself took a plain candy.

Princess Cassandra knew what Princess Teimei was thinking. According to the Vivere Kingdom’s royal family, it was the crystal with the wind element but only she knew that it truly was a candy that Lord Bentham had made. A hard piece of sugar.

’Lord Bentham fooled the royal family too.’ Princess Cassandra thought as she ate the candy with a smile. The sweet taste filled her mouth as she enjoyed but soon looking at the expression of Princess Teimei, Cassandra realized that she had to act.

"Something is not right." Princess Cassandra murmured. She looked at Princess Teimei as her eyes widened. "I am feeling unwell."

"What is happening?" Princess Teimei came as she helped Princess Cassandra’s hand in worry. "Tell me. Should we go back? Is it bad?"

Princess Cassandra started breathing faster as if there was a deficiency of air. Her eyes widened as tears started to form in them.

"Princess?" Princess Teimei said in a whisper as she rubbed her hand on Princess Cassandra’s back. Her powers exclude through her body into the fifth Princess’s. Princess Teimei wanted to provide enough darkness so that the element is absorbed but is still unstable.

Achard had explained it to her properly. Princess Teimei had to hold the hand where the seal had emerged and then she had to let the power flow. Once the fifth Princess started to feel a little better, Teimei had to stop. It will be enough time for the fifth Princess to absorb the element.

Princess Teimei’s one hand was on her wrist as she looked at the Princess. "Should I give you water? Do you think we should stop for some time?" Princess Teimei’s questions did not stop. Although her tone was filled with worry, her hands were doing their work.

Princess Cassandra shook her hand as she started to catch. Although it was all an act, but Princess Cassandra managed to play out her role with conviction. Cassandra closed her eyes as if pretending to control her emotions but in reality, she was absorbing Princess Teimei’s powers that were actively handed to her.

"Do you feel better?" Princess Teimei asked as she moved her hand’s back.

Princess Cassandra nodded as she swallowed. "I think I swallowed the candy without chewing it." Princess Cassandra laughed as she tried smiling at Princess Teimei.

"It happened sometime. I will tell someone to get you some water." Princess Teimei said as she looked at one of the guards that were beside the carriage. Soon a bottle of water was presented to them but Princess Cassandra knew that the guard did not go only to get it.

Cassandra was sure that the guard must have informed Prince Carl and Achard Bentham that the mission was completed.

Princess Cassandra did not think too deeply as she drank the water. She knew that it was time for them to leave everything behind and concentrate on their mission.

They were here for a fight. A fight that they desperately wanted to win.

Princess Teimei smiled when she observed the expression of the fifth Princess. She looked out as she said to Cassandra. "We have reached Kir mountain."

Princess Cassandra followed Princess Teimei’s gaze only to see white snow everywhere.

[So it begins.]
