Bride of the Serpent King-Chapter 20: Cry baby Zaiyila (1)
Chapter 20 - Cry baby Zaiyila (1)
A lady was walking alone along the road, her expression sour and filled with pain. She was dressed in a short skirt with a black top, and in her hand was a white coat.
"Because of you, Zaiyila, I was expelled from school. I will definitely get back at you; this won't pass just like that!" she gritted her teeth and kicked a stone.
"But what am I supposed to do now? This will definitely be trouble once my mother finds out," she thought and stopped walking. "Or maybe I should just commit suicide? No... once I die, I won't have the chance to take my revenge, even at all I want to die she must follow me," she murmured to herself as if she were crazy. In the middle of her struggle, a beautiful, expensive car parked beside her.
The car window rolled down, revealing a peerlessly handsome man inside. He wore dark sunglasses and looked at her with a charming smile on his face.
"Where's beauty going? Let me escort you back," the man proposed.
Ferina's eyes twinkled with excitement immediately. "Ah, look at how handsome he is, and his car is definitely the most expensive! He's god-damned rich! I hit the jackpot haha! Since a man like this has taken an interest in me, why do I need to study? I might as well spend the rest of my life with him. Ah, many people meet old men, but here is my prince charming! Not old, young, handsome, and rich. With him supporting me, even my mother will feel endlessly proud. Ah, Zaiyila, you did well this time, if not for you, this chance would have slip" she thought and put on a pitiful expression.
"I... I don't know. I don't have a destination; I was just walking around," she spoke softly, even wiping her fake tears.
The man smiled handsomely. "How about I take you to a destination if you don't mind?" he offered.
"Here it comes! Luxurious life, here I come!" she shouted inwardly but maintained her act. "Won't I be... a burden to Young Master?" she feigned concern.
The door opened automatically, and the man's smile remained. "Not at all a burden; in fact, I am very pleased," he responded.
Ferina blushed. "Then I will accept your proposal," she replied and entered the car. The man started driving.
Ferina was so lost in her own world that she failed to notice the peculiarities in the man and the strange smile that appeared on his face after she entered.

The bell rang loudly, and Miss Derica, who was still writing on the board, stopped immediately. It was as if she had been praying for the bell to ring.
"Alright, we are stopping here today. Have a nice day, everyone!" she beamed warmly and immediately fled the class without waiting for anything to hold her back.
Everyone was dumbfounded, and the question in their minds was:
"What happened to Miss Derica today?"
While everyone noticed something was off, Zaiyila wasn't focused at all. Her mind was occupied by Elizabeth's statement, and she was feeling unbearably sour inside. "I must ask him first," she thought as she packed her things.
"Aiyi, is it your brother who will come to pick you up?" Elizabeth inquired immediately.
Zaiyila's mouth twitched. "Get him out of your head, okay?" she retorted and continued packing her things inside her bag.
Elizabeth pouted. "I didn't even say a thing yet. I just recalled that my dad won't be coming to pick me up, so... can you give me a ride?" she blinked repeatedly.
Zaiyila sighed. "What do I do? My first friend is interested in my husband," she thought. "He won't allow you to enter," she replied.
"That won't do! As long as you say a few words to him, he will definitely agree. I can see how much he dotes on you," Elizabeth pleaded.
Zaiyila looked at her. "I'm not that important, but come first. Whether he allows you or not is up to him," she stated and stood up, walking to the entrance.
Just as she reached the entrance, the guard who delivered her lunch stepped forward and escorted her back. He saw Elizabeth but didn't acknowledge her presence.
This made Elizabeth hesitate for a while but still, she followed Zaiyila.
Soon, the group stood in front of an expensive car. The man immediately stepped forward and opened the car door for Zaiyila.
Zaiyila looked inside and saw Everett sitting at the back. She bit her lower lip before taking a deep breath and entering the car.
This action of hers didn't escape Everett's eyes. His brows knitted tightly, and his gaze fell on the approaching Elizabeth. His eyes turned colder, making her break out in a cold sweat immediately.
"I... I... Aiyi, my... my dad just called. He's on his way. I'll just wait for him!" she stammered and immediately fled, not daring to turn around.
The car door closed, and it started moving.
Zaiyila remained silent, her gaze fixed on the left.
Everett's brows furrowed, and he pulled Zaiyila's head to face him. "What's the matter, my Queen?" he inquired tenderly. "Who bullied you? Was it that little human just now?" he raised his brows.
Zaiyila stared at him longer before removing her mask, throwing it aside, and sitting on his lap. She wrapped her arms around his neck, resting her head on his shoulder.
"She didn't do anything to me. She's my first friend," she murmured in response.
Everett knew something was bothering Zaiyila. "Should I just read her memories? No, that would be too disrespectful," he thought and gently caressed her long, beautiful hair.
"Explain to me, my Queen. What's bothering you?" he coaxed gently and patiently.
Zaiyila raised her head to look at him, then her gaze fell to his lips. She licked her rosy lips before aiming for his lips and biting his lower lip.
Everett didn't make a sound or movement, nor did he stop her from biting him. He now understood that he was the reason why she was sad and calmly accepted his punishment.

Zaiyila stopped biting him after tasting his blood and looked into his eyes. They were still warm and affectionate, entirely focused on her. She couldn't help but feel bad and kissed his lips to erase the pain.
Everett returned the kiss, and from soft kisses, it started getting rough. Zaiyila's hands traced his body all the way to his pants, and just as her hand was about to slip in, Everett grabbed her hand.
The kiss broke, and both of them stared at each other. Suddenly, Zaiyila broke into tears and started wailing—
Stunning not only Everett but also the pitiful driver.
